I've been getting my car washed here for a few months and have ignored the fact that it's never perfect because my mom and I met the owner who was very nice. I typically purchase the diamond package but couldn't today because they said there were not enough people working. Fine, I took the one under that. I was at their "Fast Lube" and car wash for two hours today. Brought my car in for an oil change, advised the mechanic that my car was a diesel and required a special filter, he told me he had the filter in stock and gave me a quote. Twenty minutes in as I'm waiting, mechanic comes out and tells me they don't have the filter but will run and get one locally. Car was done an hour fifteen minutes later. As my car was filthy, I upgraded the free car wash to their diamond service, the most expensive. When I was alerted my car was ready, I popped the trunk to see it had not been vacuumed, so the worker in the lot quickly helped me pull stuff out and he vacuumed it. After I left, I noticed how dirty the front windshield still was with old bird poop, I went home and got paper towels and vinegar and did a better job. All in all, expensive, far from fast and less than stellar. The car wash on route 23 in Riverdale is so much better. Really disappointed. read more

I have been going to this car wash location for 20 years. i would stay away from this unprofessional place. i always bought the $216 "10 car wash" deal card for the best value. i have two cars and go once or twice a month. today i went with my car wash card and they wouldn't take it. They told me they bought the old place out over a year ago and wouldn't take my card anymore. i told them i had 4-5 car washes left on it and i came monthly and they basically told me i was a liar. i was incredibly upset as have $100+ on the card and they treated me poorly. read more

Please beware of the "Coupons" they sent out to their mailing list. They are a SCAM They state FREE CAR WASH and 3 off OIL CHANGE. When my car was already inside the wash I was told it was a "misprint" Its a Free Car Wash with an Oil Change. WHICH IS ALREADY THE DEAL AT THIS PLACE! 30 Bucks later, I will never go back. I have been going to this car wash since 1970. Probably four different owners over the years. This crew now has no idea how to run this business. Long slow lines. Windows you can't see out of. New owners were there for the first month of so. Now only once in awhile. Also the manager that actually ran the place is gone. I never saw people pulling out of line and leave. Now it's a common theme. Looks like I'll have to look for another car wash. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I come here, ask for the highest service (Diamond, $35) and they say it's unavailable because they are short staffed. Fair enough. I settle for (Platinum, $25) mind you I am the ONLY customer here. 20 minutes go by and my car is still not down the tunnel to be dried. I walk back to the entrance and 2 employees are sitting on their phones, they never hit the button to send it down mind you the 4 employees who are assigned to dry are looking down the tunnel waiting for the car to come down. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Horrible car wash. I paid for the Platinum package which is the 2nd most expensive car wash and left with a dirty car. My dashboard wasn't even wiped down when I got in it, I had to ask if that was part of my service, and when I did the guy said "yeah, why it's not clean?" You could see dirt and dust had not even been touched. He wiped it down and I left because I was so infuriated. The interior was not clean at ALL. They did not even vacuum my trunk (I have an SUV) but when I left, my sensors were going off because they left my trunk open. I haven't been here in years because they were awful so I figured I'd give them a try since they are under new ownership... worst $30 I ever spent, I could have done a better job myself. Now I see why I travel to Totowa to get my car washed because it's the best in the business, save your time and your money and go to Progressive Car Wash on Union Blvd. this will never happen. I have been going to Pristine for years and using the unlimited plan for both my vehicles. Under the new ownership the service has improved dramatically. If I ever have a problem with the wash, they never hesitate to make it right. They want you to be happy and will always go the extra mile to make sure you are. Artan, the manager is the best and is out front making sure the crew does what they are supposed to. Everyone has a much better attitude than they used to. Not a better place to have your car washed and polished. read more

I love going to this car wash ever since the ownership changed! I met the new owners and it was a great experience. Washed my car beautifully. I was very happy with the service I received. I was very impressed with the complimentary refreshments. Every Tuesday is Ladies day so each car wash is discounted 10%! I will definitely return for more washes. read more

The owner, woman, is very kind and trying but.... I paid for the most expensive car wash. This includes outside, foam, rained, inside cleaning of the panels and door panels. The workers told me my car was ready when half of the car was still wet with water spots they clearly did not dry. Before I even stepped near my car, she tried to ask them to clean the car which, I was appreciative of. They did clean and dry the outside,the inner console was not wiped down and I asked them to do it. Her comment was, they are busy and have a lot of cars to do. I understand but if you are picky about the water spots I would also be picky about them wiping down the console., especially if I paid for it. I was told I should have a detail of my interior, which yes I could use it, but I only wanted my console and dashboard to be wiped down. It's not worth the money... I will not be returning read more

I would go here all the time for oil changes and car washes. The last 2 times my wife brought her car in for oil changes, her car was leaking oil afterwards!! The first time it happened, I figured it was a mistake and they fixed it so it wouldn't happen again. I had her bring her car in for an oil change and sure enough, it was leaking oil! She was there for almost 2 hours the first time and they screwed it up and her car was leaking oil. I went with her the second time to get it fixed and we were there for another 2 hours and we left and a couple of days later I found out that her car was still leaking oil!! The manager was great about it and tried everything to help us out and even gave her a $50 gift card. In the end, he told us to take it to Audi and have it fixed and bring him the bill. We did just that and everything was fine. I have to say, the manager Tani went above and beyond to help us out and I found out from Audi that a collapsible washer was not put back on the drain plug. Impossible for Tani to know since he didn't do the original oil change. The only reason I kept going back to this place was because of Tani and I have since learned that he had been let go. I will definitely never go back here!! The car washes are overpriced and your car still looks dirty!! Stay away!! read more

I had high hopes as when this car wash went under new management. I had my car serviced here and the tech left oil hand prints all over the steering wheel and console (motor oil), left scratches on the wood portion of the steering wheel, no floor mats or any standard interior protective procedures but if u get the car wash here they put a floor mat in the car?!?!? The deal here is if spend 100+ on service you get a upgrade to The Platinum wash. So the tech that sold me the service informed me that I was getting upgraded wash with the service. When I went to pay the Cashier [with her nasty attitude] said that was not the case!?! So she charged me an additional 10.00. This place is a mess. The wash was ok but the service is TERRIBLE. They can't handle any service they just not equipped. read more

Got the gold level car wash and when my car was done it still had marks on the windows (outside) and I still saw spots not cleaned on the exterior. I could have washed my car way better myself! Won't be going here again. read more

For years I would drive to a car wash in Totowa because there were none I liked in Wayne. I heard from a friend that Pristine had sold to a new group and they had made a bunch of improvements, and decided to give it a try. My car looked terrific afterwards and the thing that will keep me coming back are the people who work there. They were very gracious and polite, and I left very satisfied. I have been going to this car wash for years. They are under new ownership and I have to say that I am not impressed. Every time I bring my car there I have to ask them to clean the windows today it came out and there were clearly fingerprints on the inside of one of the windows so they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing but that's not even what gets me upset. They opened my trunk and they used the air compressor to get the water out of the top low spot of my trunk and they sprayed water and leaves and debris all in my trunk and it got all over everything that was in my trunk -my work bag, my folders in my work bag are now all wet. Not acceptable. Don't think I will be back. It is a very expensive car wash and I shouldn't have to ask to have the inside of my windows cleaned every time I go there and now I have to worry about what's in my trunk because they have total disregard for where the water goes. read more
