We went here for dinner on a Thursday night around 8pm. For drinks we had merlot, Cabernet, and Chardonnay. The merlot was great, the Cabernet was good, but the Chardonnay was just okay. We started with the mussels which were very tasty! For entrees we ordered the beef filet and one of the specials - asparagus with prawns in a white wine cream sauce over pasta. The asparagus was divine and the prawns were cooked perfectly. The filet was slightly overcooked in areas but still good as was the cheesey potato cake it came with. Our server was phenomenal and truly made the dining experience beyond enjoyable despite the language barrier. They also have a great patio space for people watching. read more

The tour was worth it (earlier the better), however the museum afterwards has so many items in other museums it just seems like a lot of the same. However, I did enjoy the section where current or past inmates provided their own artwork. read more

Absolutely an amazing French restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany! It was so unique, with funky cool vibe from long ago. The food was delicious as well! Very lively and loud inside. (We like that!) Our friend had venison with gratin potatoes. My wife and I had the grilled seafood salad as our starters (a meal in itself we could have been done) then she had grilled salmon and rice. While I had octopus, prawns with fish in a red sauce starved with rice. It wS all so good! I recommend trying Prison (the restaurant) ha ha! Great find! read more

In the old town in Nuremberg is this very nice place, romantic two-story restaurants. This place has lots of atmosphere and personality. The menu has plenty of excellent choices made with high quality raw materials and tasty as you would expect from a French bistro. Prices are very reasonable. With a notch faster service (even for Europe this was a bit unusual) and bit more thought into presentation (all our dishes had the same presentation which was served with a tomato slide, a cucumber on a letttuce leaf), this could easily get to five stars. Excellent food, ambiance and music. Insanely great creme brûlée. Only criticism, be prepared for an extended dining experience. We had a 8:00 reservation, barely made it out by 11:00 with desert. Great for couples. Not just a guys place. Very Romantic atmosphere. read more

What disappointing experience. I'd heard so much about this place so was really excited to go. The inside of the restaurant is nice but the food: they focus more on quantity than quality. We got heaps of what I can only describe as average food at best. Not going there again read more
