Came over to Priority Urgent Care for X-Rays of my wrists after a slip. Easy check-in with Crystal's assistance. 5:30 there was no waiting clean comfortable waiting area. Saday called me back she took my vitals in a nice patient room she was a pleasure. The X-ray tech will be here at 6pm everyone has been great. Tyler the PA came in and introduced himself, I explained my wrist issues. Joe the X-ray technician came in at 6 and took 3 pictures of each wrist Just need to have them read and get the report. Tyler came in nothing is broken . I was provided with a disc and a report I'll pick up tomorrow that I'll take both to my orthopedic and I'll take it easy for a while Priority Urgent is a good neighbor to have read more

I typically go to the Urgent care on Calloway, but as they are closed today, I was able to be seen at this Allen location. The facility was clean, well kept and organized. All the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend if needing to be seen for an illness, as well as I noticed they offer sports physicals for children. read more

I personally would have given no stars but that wasn't an option! Don't bother to make an appointment as I was still in the waiting room an hour past our appointment time. The lady that check us in was rude as was the medical assistant doing vitals, weight & etc. I understand if you were busy but they were not and I watched the provider pass by on her cell phone multiple times. Once we got back there I asked for them to also look at my daughters finger and the lady wanted us to do another separate visit for that after we waited over an hour past our appointment time. This has happened more than once at this location and my family and I will no longer be returning. RESPECT your patience's time especially if they made an appointment in advance!!!! read more

Everything needs improvement all the employees are lazy and rude for no reason, scheduling an appointment is useless once you get there you spend about an hour after your appointment time and get called just to wait another hour or two in the waiting room till a doctor comes and sees you and if you plan on walking in even worse you will basically spend the whole day waiting to get seen and it takes the doctor only about 30 seconds to see what is wrong with you so the fact you wait all day is hilarious. read more

Don't Get Me Wrong . Nurse Practitioners are wonderful, dedicated professionals who have been taking care of our family for decades. I have not had a single problem with any of them, and they've always gotten me back on my feet. Still, I came into this wonderful facility, which is open until 6:00 P.M. on a Sunday night, after many other Urgent Cares were closed, to be diagnosed and treated by a Medical Doctor, who knew exactly what needed to be done. He has also been our family doctor for several years, and is a credit to his profession! His medical assistants were also outstanding! read more

Zero stars. I made an "appointment" and have sat in the lobby for an hour and a half while a kid LITERALLY kicks and screams on the floor for the entire time while his mom sits there. Terrible!!! I came in for a prior authorization for surgery and had to come back because I hadn't had labs completed. When I came back, they charged me again to sign paper, saying it was another visit. I had exam and EKG done at the first visit and just needed paper signed. I had to wait almost 2 hours and pay again, just to get a signature. This is not good business practices and unfortunately I was pressed for time or would've gone somewhere else. Best experience ever with an urgent care. When I walked I in the medical assistant was on the phone but made the effort tO make eye contact with me and smiled. She checked me in and took all the necessary info. I waited a short time, maybe 20 minutes, before getting called back. I was seen by 2 medical assistants and the doctor. Top notch! Four stars so far, if we recover completely it will be five stars! But seriously, we are driving through Bakersfield from Las Vegas to Santa Cruz and BF's arm swelled up with excruciating pain for no visible reason. We stopped in Priority Urgent Care, front desk was so kind, helped BF with the paperwork, got him in very quickly, in-room nurse was so funny and friendly, doctor was smiley and compassionate and so very attentive. A couple shots in the butt and a prescription from the Walmart in the very same shopping center, and we are back on the road. Will definitely stop by if we are ever sick or injured in Bakersfield again read more

Talk about a place that can't seem to take care of patients. Ok...today is my 3rd bad experience in a row. Time for a review. 1st ...they cant seem to get your prescription to the pharmacy. Really??? The PA or doc said she'd get RX in. We drove arou d for an hour thinking it would be ready. Get there and no RX. I call and they tell me that it was supposed to be a certain med which they gave me while I was there. I argued back with med assistant. She goes and checks and sure enough Priority let the ball drop. Now it's going to be another hour! Can't blame pharmacy but sure can blame Priority. Last time, it was 4+ hours from APPOINTMENT TIME! Really??? Time before that, they called RX into the wrong one!!! Three strikes....they're out. I will drive to Accelerated next time....not happy with Priority....they have a ton of employees and cant seem to take care of patients. read more

I would not go to this place. They advertise that they did testing, but just FYI for everybody who's thinking about getting corona tested there, they're going to bill you for an office visit. And if you come with your family members, who are all just sitting in the room with you because we thought we were just there for lab work, they are going to bill it like for each member even if you're sitting in the same room. So they bill $275 for each person who is there, when the doctor, who you were even aware you had to see at all, talk to us at the same time. Maybe I am stupid and I didn't realize it was common knowledge that you have to see a doctor before corona test. If I were to know this, and that I was going to get billed for that much I would have never gone. And the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and made me feel stupid. It is the next day and I spoke to the billing department. They worked with me and reduced it but I still think the ad is really misleading. If I could give them 1.5 just because the billing department people actually had some customer service skills, I would. read more

The good part is the PA that I saw was very friendly and helpful. And I think the care I received was very good. The bad part is waiting 30 minutes, with an appointment,to go back then having someone who just walked in, be taken back before me, then, asking the front desk about it, they get me to the back, and I sit in an exam room for another 30 minutes. Waited about 30 min to get into a room for my 19 month old. During vitals he did NOT want to do his blood pressure nor height/weight check, but the nurse assistant was patient and very calm about it. Finally in a room and waited for another 30 min (with an impatient toddler, it's never fun) for the Dr to come in, check my son's ears, say they look fine, and that what he has is just allergies......is allergies all these urgent care doctors know to diagnose? Also, without any announcement of it, she was recording our conversation on an iPad, has anyone else have this specific office do that? The one on Calloway has never recorded me during visits and it made me feel very uncomfortable here. Sticking to Accelerated from now on! read more

This place is fine in a pinch but the providers are typically a hit or a miss -as with any urgent care. I needed medicine asap so my kid can return to daycare asap so my husband and I can get back to work. She looked at my kid to confirm a diagnosis and asked if his eye was itchy. She didn't check his ears when my kid has a history of ear infections. She saw my kid for a minute. It was 5:54 or so, so you could tell she just wanted to go home. I was asked if I wanted the meds to be sent to Walgreens instead of the pharmacy I have on file because they're open 24 hours and all the other places are closed. I replied, yes. I saw this doctor for a minute. This is the second time that the meds have not been sent where they said they would send it. Secondly, I'm double covered and now they're charging people who are double covered a copay. Why? Probably because they want to and people who need care asap have to choose between paying $20 and taking a second day off work. It's not right and frankly unethical with the way inflation has gone up. If you are going to charge me extra, give me the service and care my kid deserves. read more

We have Kaiser, who contracts with Priority Urgent Care to see their patients. I took my 18 yr old son in to the Allen Road office for an eye infection. The Dr/NP/PA said she was going to send a prescription for an antibiotic (normal practice for eye infections). She then asked why do we have Kaiser it's such a bad insurance and said we should get Blue Shield like she has (bad mouthing Kaiser who is paying for the visit-biting the hand that feeds you!). Prescription wasn't at Kaiser last night, so I went in today and they hadn't received it. I called Priority and had two separate phone conversations with someone who was trying to help but the 3rd phone call came from Calley who refused to tell me if the prescription was going to be sent; citing HIPPA. So, after the first two phone calls (HIPPA violations) she decides to waste more of my time. She doesn't realize that repercussions for HIPPA violations (as well as Medical Board and certification agency complaints) occur if they are reported which she is encouraging me to do by wasting more of my time! Now I'm going to waste their time!!! I will also make sure Kaiser knows what their contractors are saying about them!! read more

I tried out this urgent care last night because our regular one we usually go to was closed yesterday. Yes it was jam packed, because so many other urgent cares were closed, but I had made an appointment and they told me I can just hang out in my car and they would call me when we were next. We ended up being the second to last people being seen but throughout all my interactions with the staff EVERYONE was friendly, nice, and super apologetic it took so long. The dr I saw was amazing and really took his time with my son. I plan on leaving our current urgent care to switch to this one because the experience was the best I've ever encountered at an urgent care. read more

LISTEN TO THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS! This is horrible service, my boyfriend and I have been waiting for a test for 2 hours now. I never thought that getting a covid test would be this drastic. We even went in to address how unsatisfied we are with how slow it has been. The woman at the front desk told us "There's been patients waiting longer than you." GREAT THING TO TELL A PATIENT! I don't know how their regular appointments are but, do not get a test here. So F***ing annoyed. UPDATE: We ended up leaving after waiting 2 1/2 hours with NO test. Watching people left and right who arrived before us get their's done. We walked in and asked for a refund because, $100 for a damn test is expensive and not worth a 2 1/2 hour wait for that price. My family and I have been here twice for Covid testing. The staff that administer the test and the front desk were very nice and attentive. I recommend coming here. The test results only took a couple of days(there are plenty of places that take much longer). However, I recommend following up with your primary care physician for more detailed follow up instructions/ discharge info. read more

I wish I would have checked the reviews prior to having my daughter get a Rapid Covid test at this location. The rapid tests take less then 10 minutes to process. They should at least give us a verbal positive or negative if requested immediately and sent a formal in the 24hr allotted time when they officially document. I called and called and was hung up on, transferred, and then hung up on some more. I sent a message and they said the antigen test takes 24hours. I responded that it's a 10 minute rapid Covid test, it does not take 24hours and would like a response. (I perform these on my own patients, but I can't use my own name for testing to get my daughter back into school) Anyway, they ghosted me. It's very frustrating when I'm being hung up on for a quick answer to where all they have to do is get up and check the results. They are lazy & this place is a mess. read more

I called and they took my information and told me to wait in my car for someone to come out and check me in and do a swab test. 25 mins later we call in and they made it seem like it was our fault for not walking in and checking in first. I usually go to Accelerated for Urgent Care visits but decided to try out Priority because they also offered COVID antibody testing. I'm definitely impressed. From the time I walked in the door I was greeted with smiling eyes and smiling voices. They addressed my concerns quickly and explained the testing involved to solve my ailments. I was especially impressed with Jessie. I'm not a fan of needles like most people are. But Jessie was patient with my anxiety. And he was fast to find my almost nonexistent veins. Very happy with all my visits here so far. I live closer to the Calloway location but will definitely drive to this one for any additional Urgent Care visits I may need in the future. read more

I have been told 4 different things in this office regarding getting cleared for COVID after testing positive at their office and having disability forms signed for work. I understand that there's only so much that they handle, but it's unfortunate that were 8+ months into a pandemic and they're still not on the same page regarding COVID.
