After full examines and lab work she personally calls and advises us of the results. Dr Burns and her staff are the best! I've been taking my doggies there for years, since they were puppies and have always been treated almost like family even when my two little ones aren't on their best behavior. I've been using this vet almost as long as they have been open. They use to be the very best and I always knew they would do whatever they could to help my animals. That is no longer the case. They lied to me, they stole money from me and suddenly started overcharging for services. They wanted to give my dog drugs he didn't need because they don't keep good notes on their patients anymore. They will charge you for appointments when you don't even get to see a vet, since it seems that they don't have time for all the patients they schedule. Definitely don't get their pet plan because it doesn't actually cover their services. I no longer trust my pets or my money at this vet and will be finding someone who actually cares. read more

It is so comforting to take my 13 year old wirehair dachshund to a veteranary clinic, Dr. Burns and her devoted staff, who I feel truly loves my Schautzie as much as I do. The recommendations and support for a senior pet are genuine, supportive and right on target. Dr. Burns presents a diagnosis and care procedures that are best for Schautzie. Even though I may not like the suggestions, they are truly right on. I know this. However, truth is, I am in denial that my precious Schautzie is not a healthy 5 year old. Dr. Burns sensitively presents the facts and recommends the best preventive care and procedures. No holding back. Just the facts. I am so grateful for her honesty. AND her time. Her precious time. Priority Pet Hospital is amazing ! They are so kind and attentive. They remember your name and your pets name. They are always friendly and really care about animals. My puppy got sick and spent the night in an emergency vet, the next morning before Priority Pet hospital was even open someone called me to ask how my puppy was. He still was not better so they got him in to see the doctor within ten minutes. Great customer service. Shoutout to Taylor at the front desk for being so helpful and willing to answer my 1 million questions I send her way :) And to the rest of the staff for being so great to my fur-baby :) Recommend to anyone. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. Dr. burns, her assistant, and front office were very helpful and kind to both my dog Bane and I. Even after having a bad experience at another vet, who wasn't able to help us. It was refreshing and a relief to have come here. Do your homework and make sure you get the right vet. All positive reviews online are for Dr. Burns, but we unfortunately ended up with Kathryn Miller. She did no do nearly as comprehensive exams as we've seen with other vets and seemed more interested in referring us to the specialty hospital that she came from. It may be a good place, but not with the specific vet we had. Staff is friendly but not outstanding or overly skilled. Our dog was bleeding quite a bit from a simple vaccine shot as it wasn't done correctly. The tech then asked us for recommendations for puppy training/socialization - I would have assumed that they would be the ones providing the recommendations not asking for them.... read more

We have been using Priority Pet Hospital for three years. Dr. Burns is outstanding and both of our dogs love her. Dr. Burns takes the time to answer all of your questions and when procedures are necessary explains all of the options and the pros and cons of each. No matter what the issue, we are at ease knowing our dogs are being treated by the best. Recently one of our dogs had a wound that required surgical intervention to repair. Knowing Dr. Burns was caring for our dog definitely reduced the anxiety we felt. In addition to Dr. Burns, the staff is also very kind and accommodating. My dog Lucky and I had our first visit to Priority Pet Hospital today and I was extremely impressed with Dr Burns and her staff. The office was quiet, comfortable, spotlessly clean and Lucky was calm and at ease. I was surprised at how much time Dr Burns spent with us during the exam. She was pleasant and unhurried, taking time to make sure all my questions were answered and explanations understood. The exam was thorough and detailed. There was no pressure for unnecessary services and the bill was reasonable. Oh, the Keurig coffee maker in the reception area ain't a bad touch either. Lucky says "two thumbs way up". read more

If you are not already taking your pets to Dr. Burns, you need to start today. I found Dr. Burns on Yelp, after my dog Emmett had been diagnosed by another vet with a "scratch on the cornea." After returning to that particular vet, his eye was not healing, not to mention, the amount of money that we continued to spend. Dr. Burns identified Emie's eye as having an Indolent Ulcer. She performed a procedure on it, and after a couple weeks, it healed, good as new. I have returned to her several times since and I have been very pleased not only with her, but her staff as well. Emmett is an extremely anxious dog, but with Dr. Burns and the girls that work there, he seems very comfortable. I also have another dog, a puggle named Lexie. She too, will be visiting Priority Pet Hospital if she needs medical care. These two dogs are my family and I trust the entire staff with their lives. read more

Just over two weeks ago, Our America Eskimo gave birth to a litter of 2 puppies, and we brought mom and the pups in to Priority Per Hospital for a checkup the very next morning. The staff here are very friendly and professional. Dr. Burns was very knowledgable and helpful, and at no time did we feel rushed or otherwise uncomfortable during the visit. Unfortunately one of the puppies turned out to be a runt and didn't make it, and Dr. Burns comforted us by explaining that she could observe some things that suggested this little guy had some congenital defects. For the other pup, she explained how the worm life cycle meant that there was a risk she may have gotten it from her mom, due to the pregnancy and birthing process activating the dormant cysts she had. She administered deworming medication for the mom and gave some for us to give to the puppy at 2 and 4 weeks. She also gave us a lot of information to take home and read regarding caring for newborn puppies, which we appreciate. At the end of our visit, we were surprised by how inexpensive our bill was compared to the quality of care that we and our pets received. This morning, I brought just the newborn puppy in because only one of her eyes had opened by that point. Dr. Burns massaged the other eye open, gave her a brief examination with an ophthalmoscope and assured me that there was nothing wrong with her eyes. And finally, she then told me that this visit was free! I was really surprised by that and I again really appreciate how great the staff here at Priority Pet Hospital are! We will definitely be back for our pets health needs in the future! read more

Priority Pet Hospital is an amazing vet clinic! They are always there to answer any questions I may have about any of my animals that they see. (2 dogs and 4 cats.) They helped me through hepatic lipidosis with my very needy kitty. Dr. Burns helped me save her life and gives me tips on daily care and maintenance for my animals. She never pushes unnecessary treatments or drugs on my animals like some vets do to make an extra dollar. The staff there is always great and helpful!!
