I recently decided to part ways with my longtime vet and turned to Yelp to search for options in my area. That's when I found Priority Pet Hospital. I'm very particular when it comes to choosing a veterinarian because I have English Bulldogs. They can be challenging health-wise -- things can decline quickly, and multiple issues can develop rapidly. I need a vet who is very familiar with short-snouted breeds and who can get me in quickly when needed. I decided to bring one of my dogs to their clinic last week after seeing their strong 4+ star reviews. Not to mention, they were able to get me in for a new patient appointment within a day -- which is huge. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Burns. I had so many questions, and she took the time to answer every single one. She was knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. Her staff was equally wonderful and caring. I'm so happy I chose to establish care with them and feel confident my dogs are in good hands. read more

Priority Pet Hospital - My boy Danger! - Veterinarians Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Dr. Burns had been the best Vet for my two little Chihuahua girls since I've changed from their previous Vet 2 years ago, she is very thorough with them in their exams, she did a great job with their dental cleaning, she takes great care of our pets and anytime I need to ask her a question, she responds promptly, all the staff from the front desk to all the technicians are so friendly and helpful and you can tell that they love what they do. I'm so happy to have found Priority Pet Hospital, where I know I can bring my two little girls and they will have the best care from their Vet and Staff. read more

I recently moved to Arizona and chose to come to Priority Pet Hospital because of their good reviews. Everyone who works here from the receptionists to the vet techs are kind and helpful. Dr. Burns and Dr. Michaels have both been wonderful with trying to diagnose and treat my cat. I had a lot of questions and concerns and they both were happy to listen and answer all my questions. I never felt like they were just rushing to get to the next patient. They both really made the effort and took the time to put my mind at ease. They are both extremely thorough and compassionate doctors who clearly have a love for animals. My cat had to go for an ultrasound and they called the hospital to get him scheduled and give them all of his background and medical records so I didn't have any extra stress. Cannot say enough good things about them. read more

Im disappointed and very upset when i had scheduled an appointment for my dog just to get his vaccines! I made it clear on the phone with the person who asked if there was going to be and an exam and I declined it. My elderly mother took my dog in and was taken advantage of because of the fear they instilled in her. Ended up charging her for an exam and meds that I already had for his ears. The cleaning solution, ear infection med, and the exam was unnecessary. I was recommended this vet by a friend and now I'll be finding a new vet that won't be taking advantage of people especially my mother. read more

All staff who treated our cat were very kind, patient, knowledgeable and professional. I recommend them highly.

Priority Pet has taken care of our pets for over eight years, including a high-strung Yorkie and a cat with dental problems. The staff is incredibly patient with difficult animals and with nervous owners. Now, a visit to the vet is a pleasant experience when you trust the professional care at Priority Pet. read more

I can't thank the staff enough for how helpful they were to me. I was able to get my fearful dog in for her checkup and the staff even carried her to my car for me after her appointment. Everything was calm and every single person there was so understanding. read more

A year ago our Pomeranian Bella became really ill. We were new to the area, literally 2 days in Gilbert, and did not know anyone in the area. I went online and found Priority Pet Hospital, with great reviews. I contacted them and they immediately took us in to treat Bella. Dr. Nichols and Dr. Michaels have been God sent, along with their entire staff! Bella has always received stellar treatment at each visit. The entire staff has also been very helpful in answering all my questions or when we need to seek especialized treatment for Bella. I would highly recommend PPH! read more

We've been going to see Dr Burns for over 8 years. We've had four dogs who have been her patients and honestly, there is no one I would trust more. Staff and doctors are exceptional! My dog is my 4 legged baby. The folks at Priority Per treat my boy as they would one of their own. Compassion and caring is their priority! The facility is clean and stink free. Fees are reasonable as well. Love this place, customer forever! read more

Remy my black lab thinks this place is pawwfect! He's been coming here since he was born a little over a year ago. Remy is always welcomed with hugs and lots of treats (his favorite) when he visits. And he loves when he is sent home with a bag of treats for being a good boy. Today he had an appointment for blood work and vaccinations and the team of vets and technicians did such an amazing job with keeping him calm and happy throughout the process. If anyone is in need of veterinarian care - Priority Pet Hospital is Remy approved! read more

Yes - my service animal is a pit bull. Dr. Burns didn't even bat an eye! She is so knowledgeable, takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and makes every effort to make the other half of your team (or pet if you aren't a handler) comfortable without sacrificing quality care. It's difficult (IMO) to find a vet I connect with - and therefore I trust my pup with. Let's talk about tech's and office. Every tech I've spoken with or interacted with has been compassionate, kind, and genuine. They allow me to assist in order to help round out my pups training for future visits. I've spoken with Devan several times on the phone for various appointments; I am constantly juggling the moving parts of my life. Devan is patient with my changing needs. Confidence, leadership and valued team members. Whoever is managing this practice seems to have the right formula! read more

Love this place. They make our pups feel so welcome and make sure follow up to see how they are doing after each visit no matter even if it's for a wellness check. Thanks priority pet hospital! read more

I couldn't be happier with this pet hospital! I brought my two dachshunds in for a wellness exam and for their neuters. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, making our whole experience feel easy and convenient. Dr Michael and all of the techs did a great job helping ease any anxiety for my pups and made sure that they felt comfortable while also being able to get any work done in a timely manner. I was really surprised with how affordable they make everything, as well as having great payment options where you can sign up for a plan that spreads out the cost of vet visits, vaccines, etc... It makes it a lot easier to afford anything that my dogs may need. Highly recommend! read more

My French Bulldog had a skin tumor that needed removed. We were unsure of what the mass was at first. Priority pet has been amazing. They are very on top of it with communication. Not knowing what it was pre surgery it was scary. Their communication was top tier and have never had such a great vet experience anywhere else. When dropping off for surgery I trusted them to take care of my pup like their own. Highly recommend! read more

Polite and attentive staff. Able to get appointment for sick pet in reasonable amount of time. Everyone who works there loves the animals. They use techniques to safely hold animals for treatment without automatically using muzzles etc very patient techs and doctors who explain everything and all options. They also usually provide printed information about the diagnosis to take home with you. Their pricing is very competitive and lower than my previous vet. I happily drive 30 minutes to their office knowing my pets will be thoroughly cared for and it will be explained to me and my questions will be answered! We have seen all of the doctors and they are all excellent!! read more

We have been going to Priority Pet Hospital for several years and could not be happier! We used to go to the "chain vets" inside the pet store but our friend told us about Dr. Burns when our dog was sick and she and the staff have been amazing. They always make time for our dog and you wouldn't believe how excited he is every time we visit!!! The absolute best vet in the valley! read more

Brought my very scared and shy and hard to understand big dog for his rabies booster - it took anxiety meds and two vet trips for him to allow them to give the vaccine but every minute with them was SO worth it. I will never bring my dog anywhere else again! They were sooo kind, didn't make me feel bad about him being scared and they worked with him so well. They offered multiple different treat options and lick mats and respected his space and didn't push anything on him which just absolutely made me feel so much better about the whole thing. Would give them 10 out of 5 if I could! read more

Best vet ever! I have and will continue to refer people here because you can tell they all love animals.

I'm a new customer to Priority Pet Hospital and both my pets were treated this week. The staff is welcoming and kind and the vet and tech's were amazing with my dog and cat. I was given a treatment plan for my cat with several options as to how we could proceed. I wasn't pressured to choose any of the options and they even suggested we begin with least invasive and lowest cost approach, while still putting my cat's health first. Would highly recommend anyone to this clinic! read more

From the front desk to the vet techs to the vets, everyone is so kind and empathetic! I have seen Dr., Michael's,Barnes and Nichols and have been so very happy with the care my miniature schnauzer, Roxee, has received! As well as my Yorkie Ole, who has since passed. I took my new rescue pup here based on a referral from my daughter and I was more than pleased. They were very thorough and generous with their time to discuss any possible issues and answer all questions. My pup wasn't cooperative when it came to a blood sample. Rather than force it, they opted to provide something to calm her and handle that on another appointment. I much prefer this option to forcing the issue and have her fearful of going to the vet. read more

I definitely feel Priority Pet Hospital is the very best. They have always been excellent in their care for my animals. The doctors have provided tips to help me try and deal with any concerns I have. Most recently, I've taken my new puppy to their practice. Due to the help of a knowledgeable technician who was checking me in, he gave me a brochure dealing with pet insurance because I took my research in to Priority Pet Hospital to run my thoughts by the vets. The technician gave me one of the Hospital's brochures dealing just with pet insurance. Because of that brochure, I saved at least 50% on pet insurance premiums for better coverage than I'd located on my own. You can rest comfortably if you take your pets to their practice. Priority Pet Hospital - Luna - Veterinarians Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

This place is the worst. All they care about is getting you in so you can pay for a visit. You cannot fill prescriptions anywhere but with them. It takes 1.5 hours for a very simple appointment. They made me come in to get my dog updated on his shots before they would refill his prescriptions. Turns out, he no longer needs that shot because he has gone blind, which they would have known had they ever followed up on him instead of cancelling his last appointment and just referring me to a specialist because they did not know what more they could do for him. Standard of care is a joke, accountability and follow-up is non-existent. I will be taking my pets and my business elsewhere. read more

We have been taking our pets here for many years. They take such great care of our fur babies I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Everyone (Doctors, Front Office/Phone Support Staff, Vet Techs and Assistants) at Priority Pet Hospital are awesomely friendly, caring, and compassionate people and it is obvious they love what they do. Part of what they do is treat our pets like their family pets. They are there for me and my fur-babies with excellent routine twice-yearly preventative pet care and a few times during emergency situations when they were able to get us in quickly or do a text consult. I really appreciate the after-care follow-up text I get from the Doctors, which can be an opening for me to ask another question, because everyone at one time or another has said to themselves, "I should have said or asked..." Check them out for yourself. read more

Mizz Kitty had her teeth cleaned and they took such great care of her. She loves seeing the girls. They are very affectionate to her and she loves that. She has renal insufficiency and they gave us food to try to see if she liked it before I bought any. The wait time is minimal. Sometimes I don't even sit down and they are there to take us back.
