I need a vet who is very familiar with short-snouted breeds and who can get me in quickly when needed. Dr. Burns and Dr. Michaels have both been wonderful with trying to diagnose and treat my cat. I had a lot of questions and concerns and they both were happy to listen and answer all my questions. I never felt like they were just rushing to get to the next patient. They both really made the effort and took the time to put my mind at ease. They are both extremely thorough and compassionate doctors who clearly have a love for animals. My cat had to go for an ultrasound and they called the hospital to get him scheduled and give them all of his background and medical records so I didn't have any extra stress. Im disappointed and very upset when i had scheduled an appointment for my dog just to get his vaccines! I made it clear on the phone with the person who asked if there was going to be and an exam and I declined it. My elderly mother took my dog in and was taken advantage of because of the fear they instilled in her. Ended up charging her for an exam and meds that I already had for his ears. The cleaning solution, ear infection med, and the exam was unnecessary. I was recommended this vet by a friend and now I'll be finding a new vet that won't be taking advantage of people especially my mother. read more

They use techniques to safely hold animals for treatment without automatically using muzzles etc very patient techs and doctors who explain everything and all options. They also usually provide printed information about the diagnosis to take home with you. Their pricing is very competitive and lower than my previous vet. I happily drive 30 minutes to their office knowing my pets will be thoroughly cared for and it will be explained to me and my questions will be answered! Brought my very scared and shy and hard to understand big dog for his rabies booster - it took anxiety meds and two vet trips for him to allow them to give the vaccine but every minute with them was SO worth it. I will never bring my dog anywhere else again! They were sooo kind, didn't make me feel bad about him being scared and they worked with him so well. The doctors have provided tips to help me try and deal with any concerns I have. Most recently, I've taken my new puppy to their practice. Due to the help of a knowledgeable technician who was checking me in, he gave me a brochure dealing with pet insurance because I took my research in to Priority Pet Hospital to run my thoughts by the vets. The technician gave me one of the Hospital's brochures dealing just with pet insurance. Because of that brochure, I saved at least 50% on pet insurance premiums for better coverage than I'd located on my own. You can rest comfortably if you take your pets to their practice. We have been taking our pets here for many years. They take such great care of our fur babies I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

This place is the worst. All they care about is getting you in so you can pay for a visit. You cannot fill prescriptions anywhere but with them. It takes 1.5 hours for a very simple appointment. They made me come in to get my dog updated on his shots before they would refill his prescriptions. Turns out, he no longer needs that shot because he has gone blind, which they would have known had they ever followed up on him instead of cancelling his last appointment and just referring me to a specialist because they did not know what more they could do for him. Standard of care is a joke, accountability and follow-up is non-existent. I will be taking my pets and my business elsewhere. read more

Part of what they do is treat our pets like their family pets.
