After flooring they returned to re do as the matte was too matte, after 4 months I noticed splitting in the cracks of the coating. It took 15 years to see the cracks on the first coating done professionally. I believe they watered down or thinned down the coating. This is why the 3.5 rating. The original crew showed up on time but did a poor job on the steps. Owner had to come back and re-paint the walls on the stairs. Due to rain, they coated in a small foyer where light was very low the walls o the stairs, when looked in daylight very uneven coating. It is now one year since they have been here, and I see the floors deteriorating much faster. I would do more research on the company before hiring them. There price was reasonable, but the project grew from one room to two rooms and then a stairwell, then a hallway and then one more room. All due to color and rooms flowing into each other. The color has to match. They accommodated me well, but I think the quality was on the poor side.

We were assured by the owner that they put up plastic over/around the areas not being worked on. Well let me just say that this did NOT happen. Because we were told this we put everything from our livingroom (except our couch) into our babies room (which has no door) expecting it to be protected by plastic being hung in the doorway and the room being sealed off.. When I got home I wanted to cry! Nothing in our home was protected. Not one thing was covered with plastic.. (I wish I could post pictures so you could see the mess that was left in our home, and see that this review isn't an exaggeration at all). My babies diapers, clothes, shoes, toys are COVERED in dust. Everything on the dresser was COVERED in dust. The closet door was left open so all of my good work/dress clothes are COVERED in dust . (the dust is so bad that after breathing for less than 5 mins you'd sneeze nonstop and blow dust out of your nose!!!).. It took me an hour to clean just the things on the dresser (not what I wanted to do after 2.5 hrs in the car commuting and 8.5 hrs in the office).. On to the next room... When you open the bathroom door there was literally piles of fine dust on the floor.. Not a coating but PILES! The carpet to our bedroom door where it meets the hallway (which was refinished) is disgusting and caked with the dust.. We assumed he'd vaccum up the dust - that didn't happen! Now, for the kitchen (which is connected to the livingroom that was refinished) ... Again, NOTHING was protected.. I have 2 different fish bowls (with beta's) that were full of dust (thankfully I was able to change the water before the fish died) .. Absolutely everything needs to be cleaned.. Another room that this could have been avoided with plastic being put up in the doorway.. Don't get me wrong, I expected to have to do some cleaning after this was done, but NEVER did I ever expect it to be to this extent.. And the final straw.. We went out to bring our couch in from the garage and saw the big contractor trash bag full that was left in our driveway (couldn't even be bothered to put it in the trash can.. just left it sitting in the driveway). He didn't even tell us it was there, we found it on our own.. The level of respect and professionalism that was displayed at our home was insulting.. I could never imagine leaving someone's home in the condition ours was left!!! I've NEVER worked with a contractor that doesn't cleanup after themselves (and that's saying a lot because I work in real estate development!!! And, we've had multiple contractors in our home doing renovations - inside and out!).. Personally, we would NOT recommend this company.. But if you do decide to use them, I highly recommend you put plastic up and protect your belongings before he gets there (don't believe him when he says they'll do it) and be prepared to do a THOROUGH cleaning when he leaves!!
