We began our journey with Brandon from Four Sons Landscaping in mid-April 2021 requesting an…read moreestimate. We met with him again two weeks later to get a new estimate for more work to be done and agreed to move forward with him and his company for a large job. We were looking to have 3 drainage pits put in, excavating, small patio with pavers, fire pit, have fabric laid out, for the yard to be rocked, clean fill and a fence. When we booked with Brandon he advised us that he would not be able to get to us until August possibly September, but if he could squeeze us in earlier he would let us know. Not ideal but we agreed. On May 11thBrandon called and said he would be able to come by the next day and would do two of the pits needed because the third needed a mark out which he could not get in time. With about 12 hours notice we agreed and rushed to get our yard ready for the first step of the process. We spoke with Brandon about the late notice and that with our jobs we cannot be home or make arrangements on the drop of a dime. Then on June 2nd he called and gave us FOUR HOURS notice about starting the excavation, we were not home and still had to have our shed removed. Again, far from ideal but we agreed to rush home and do it because we did not want to get put on the back burner. Brandon's crew worked late and said they'd be back the next day, so we made no plans and stayed home. We did not hear from them the following day regarding whether they were coming until we had reached out and said they'd be there the next day instead. So we stayed home for nothing and the following day, Friday, his crew did not show up until after 1230pm. We had to make arrangements for someone else to be at the house, who rushed there in the morning for no reason. The following Monday his crew came by again to finish the excavation and move onto the pavers and fire pit, once installed the fire pit was not in the middle and 1 1/2 feet over to one side. We had Brandon come by on Wednesday to show him what happened and how unhappy we were. So to fix their error they had to use more of our pavers we purchased ourselves for the pathway to fix their error. We asked Brandon when we would be moving onto the rock and the fence and he promised us it was ordered he was just waiting for it to come in. The middle of June was the last time we heard from Brandon in over two months from now. I had reached out to him and had my messages read and never responded to, I had my boyfriend reach out since Brandon did not have his number and once he said who he was Brandon said he'd call back later and then silence. We began to look for other contractors but we attempted Brandon one last time since we were now losing money between him never backfilling our property with clean fill to our property line (shorting us by 2-4 feet from one end of the property to the other) and the extra pavers they used to correct their mistakes. Brandon advised that they were too busy and had other jobs and did not know when he would be able to get to us again and to be patient. This was the time frame we were given and now we are being told there is no clue when he could come again and maybe squeeze us in and that he longer wants to work on our fence. We have not had a yard the entire summer, our entire shed contents are under a tarp. Enough is enough, do not start a project you cannot finish, this was started over three months ago and now he says he has no clue when he'll be able to finish and is saying that he doesn't want to do some of the work that was already agreed upon. Completely unprofessional and no respect for your customers. We have not had yard to enjoy all summer and now we are losing out money because he got greedy and continued to pile on work that his two man crew could not handle. We have scheduled now two separate companies to clean up his mess and finish our project. The magical rock that could not be found will be installed in just over a week from signing a new contractor and the unicorn fence will be here in a month. I would not recommend him to anyone especially a couple with a starter home who doesn't have money to piss away.

Extensive explanation of the process of the chimney inspection. Tom is very knowledgable and came with the right tools for the job. As he was performing the internal flue inspection with a camera he showed and explained what potential issues he looks for. 2. After Tom completed the cleaning, she show us all the flammable debris that was removed. Much more than I had expected. 3. Walking tarps were placed to ensure there would be no dirt tracked on the rugs and hardwood floors. In addition, Tom for slip-on "booties" worn while working on the house. 4. Very good communications.. throughout the process. I received several email and phone communications in response to several questions I had about the inspection process. I also received a confirmation call from him the day before the service. 5. Function...My appointment was for 1:30PM...he was at the door a few minutes before. Summary: IMHO, I don't think anyone that uses Costal Chimney would be disappointed in the least based on my experience. RP, Colts Neck, NJ
