He'd take this backpack everywhere he went to share his cigars with friends, including my husband. Every time they would light up, they'd always have to create a makeshift ashtray and try to find a place to lay their lit cigars. So husband and I bought him a portable ashtray/cigar holder from Amazon. I was initially just going to give it to him without the personalization, but it's his 40th birthday so I needed to make it special. I looked on Yelp and got quotes for engraving places. I found AKD. Before Hyde heard my complaint we went on for about a solid 5-10 minutes about how I told him that his staff was rude and that I'm difficult. I was accused of several things on this phone call by this owner, none of which were true. In fact, he actually didn't even let me get a word in. At the end of the call he told me he was sorry that they couldn't work with me and that I was making him feel unsettled. Now look, I'm all about expressing ones self, and if you say you're unsettled, I get it, and I respect it. But when a customer calls to talk to you about a negative experience they're having with your company and that your staff has been snippy, the right response isn't to play the victim and accuse the customer of X, Y, Z. Honestly, at the end of the day, this business operates like a total joke. If you don't value your time, by all means, give them your business. If you have any value for your time and integrity, don't bother wasting it here.
