Lori S. I found Prints.com when searching for a Rick Kelley print. The online feature of "seeing it framed" was very helpful and had a good combination of matte colors & frame style, yet I wanted to talk to someone about other frame styles before ordering. I called and spoke with Chris, who was knowledgeable about the other frame styles, but assured me that the choices pictured were very complimentary to the print. He was right! I was very happy with it. The ordering started out a bit rocky, as it took them (Jim) 4 business days to notify me that my credit card info Chris processed 'wouldn't go through'. At that point, I was nearly a week into my 3-week time constraint of needing it, for a graduation gift! I gave Jim another credit card number, and that processed while I was on the phone with him. I made it clear that this now needed to be elevated to a 'rush' job. He proceeded to be sure the print got received from the artist, matted, framed, and shipped with a very fast turn-around time. It was delivered to Woodbridge, VA within 10 days of the 2nd credit card transaction attempt, and in perfect condition, so 4 days prior to the graduation day. (I should have shopped earlier than I did for this type of item, so that's on me.) The print titled "Coming Home" was the perfect choice for my military son upon his graduation from a long seven months away. I would use them again! read more

Absolutely scam purchased a canvas to hang and it came as a chap looking poster the ink was running. I tried to return and they declined the return even though the product was awful. I never complain but I think people need to be aware this is not a legitimate site. read more

I was afraid it was a scam but I got a nice picture in good shape. Go ahead and use this site.

My customized print was delivered to me with the wrong name printed on it. I had taken a picture of the preview before I submitted my order just in case something like this happened. Even though I sent photos of my preview, they would not reprint it. They claimed it was my fault. They did offer me a 20% discount on my next order. What a joke! The integrity of the company is unsurpassed! Please take my advise! And don't do business w Print. Com! I order a print for my husband Christmas gift. The owner Chris, first sent the wrong print...continue to call to try to get the correct print! The last straw was when he lied and told me he had sent the correct print! Then, something told me to follow-up yesterday to find out he never sent it! The merchant is a little and a con artist! Find your art work somewhere else...a word from the wise!!! read more

Never sent the print I ordered for my wife for Christmas. Will NOT return any emails. It's a scam site IMO.

Ordered an expensive framed print and never heard a word from them for almost three weeks. Just a terrible company, they will lie to your face if you actually get a hold of somebody to talk to. They will tell you there was a problem with your credit card information if you contact them after a couple of weeks asking why you haven't gotten any correspondence regarding shipping details. Then they may tell you that after they "supposedly" get the credit card straightened out that they have somebody working on your order as you speak. Another couple weeks go by and now they won't answer your calls and I assume it's because they have your number flagged. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with them. They shouldn't be in business. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY, BEWARE! So, I ordered a couple of things from this site. Came out to $52, which seemed pretty expensive, but I was feeling a bit loose, so there ya go. A couple weeks go by, nothing. Not even an email, confirming the order. But they definitely took the money. Email customer service, get nothing. Call, no answer. Called again today. I get some dude named Jim, a pretty unpleasant fellow. He explains to me that Gmail always sends their emails to the junk folder (seems Google knew something I didn't). I find the response to my 2nd angry email, but never the confirmation or tracking email I was looking for all along. Jim then says that he cancelled my order, and I'm getting a refund. His words were something like this "Ya, I cancelled your order. You seemed pretty upset over a $10 order, so I just cancelled it." Wow. These dudes are something else. $52 on two posters.... After 3 weeks of total silence and a whole lot of wondering, this guy Jim had a lot of nerve to be so condescending, like my pathetic order was below his time. They get one star, only because I can't give them none. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. read more

Everything about this business is top-notch from the customer service to the outstanding quality of the framing to the amazing packaging when getting stuff shipped to you. Jim was amazing in helping me find the right frame for a particular print that I had picked. His suggestions were spot on and the final result was incredible. I could not have asked for anything better. I'm amazed that there are negative reports about this company online because those people must be just serial complainers because I found everything about this company to be spectacular. read more

Horrible customer service! I ordered a print two weeks ago for a gift, and I still don't have it. I called the company and the guy on the phone said it hadn't shipped yet, and acted like it was no big deal. He seemed surprised that I was unhappy about it. He couldn't tell me when it would ship or how it would ship - first class, third class, UPS,etc. He said "the computer decides." I said, "What do you mean the computer decides?" He just repeated that they ship it however the computer tells them to ship. I had to just hang up before I lost my temper. Infuriating. They'll never get my business again. read more

Our order arrived ahead of schedule and the print and frame exceeded expectations. The staff at Prints.com exceeded expectations and even accommodated a special request we had. Would definitely order from Prints.com again. Posting this again b/c I meant 5 stars not 4. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I cannot understand why this company is still in business. It consistently offered some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I ordered a print as a Christmas present in OCTOBER, never received a confirmation and emailed about it. Nothing. So I called about it. The man told me the order was out of print but that it should be back in print soon- - definitely by Christmas, he chuckled. I hadn't received any notification of the print being unavailable but decided to let it go. Two weeks before Christmas, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called and the man told me my card had been declined and they emailed me "a couple of times" and then cancelled my order. I told him I hadn't received an email about this- not even in my junk folder ( I checked during our phone call). He interrupted me all throughout our conversation and was rude and defensive, never offering an apology. He told me he could send the print out that day and it would arrive in two days- -the Friday before Christmas. I got no email confirmation of the order, but my card was charged. Today is Friday and I did not receive the print. I called and the woman told me the tracking info indicates the print will arrive Christmas eve. She said there was no special request for expedited shipping. She offered no apology and just hurried to get off the phone with me. I'll have to give my gift late and I'm worried about the condition it'll be in now, after reading these other reviews. I don't understand how the people at Prints.com expect to run an online/mail order business handling customer issues this way, with no email confirmations, no response to emails, no provided tracking info and no apologies for late packages, especially for holidays. I WISH I'D NEVER GIVEN THEM MY BUSINESS- - DON'T GIVE THEM YOURS. read more

I almost never write reviews but feel compelled to share my experience to save some other customers. I never even got to the ordering phase with this company. I had read some negative reviews about returns so I emailed the company to get clarification and assurances. I was looking at a fairly expensive print and I don't live close enough to visit the gallery. I was worried that the colors I see on my monitor would not match the actual item when it arrived. Although I did initially get a polite response back I felt it really did not answer all my questions so I emailed for more clarification. The gentleman who was corresponding with me sent me a list of very positive reviews and I noticed they were from Ebay so I went to the site out of curiosity. There were several prints there at a much lower price but not the particular one I was looking at. I don't know much about fine art so I asked questions about what made the print I was looking at more valuable, size, popularity of the specific print? The gentleman sent back a very curt and rude reply and said if I could find it cheeper elsewhere I should buy it. I was rather shocked since I had not complained about the price or asked for a discount. I felt it a very rude way to treat a potential customer. I was only asking questions of the "art experts". I was skeptical of the negative reviews and in my mind that sealed the deal. I am looking for other prints from other companies. I try not to patronize business that treat people so badly. read more

I ordered a really expensive print from this company. When it arrived the canvas print was rippled. I called their customer service and was told to put it in the window to warm it up because the FedEx trucks are sometimes too cold. I did that three times and it actually made it worse. When I called their customer service they didn't answer their phone after trying three or four times. I finally emailed them and they responded that they would not return the product but that they would repair it. When I took the picture in to FedEx it back to them the label was expired. Now I have to go through all of this again. I will never buy from this company again and what if I was you to do the same. Terrible experience. read more

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews... I had a great experience with them via ordering online. The studio (where the artist signed the print) made an error in shipping, though the 2 gentlemen I spoke with on the phone at prints.com were extremely professional and went out of their way to correct the issue 100% to my satisfaction. The product, packaging and service was A+ Would absolutely recommend and purchase from them again. read more

I purchased two prints framed and while it did take longer than promised finished products on both were well worth the wait! I'm placing another order so this tells you I do believe in this company and like their work well enough to recommend. read more

I ordered 2 prints one was a Christmas gift and it was late, which is not the fault of prints.com, but when I tried to return it they told me it was a special order and could not be returned. It did not say in the details of the print that it was not returnable, or that it was a special order item. It was a straight canvas nothing additional, no framing etc. It did not say it was stretched. That was the only reason I risked buying it. Needless to say I'm pissed. This is downright fraudulent. read more

Not only do prints.com send out defective prints, but the people who work there are unconscionably rude. I ordered a print from Prints.com by one of my favorite artists. When I took it out of the roll to be framed in time for Christmas, it had not only had 2 major creases in it, but 8 evenly placed "Powder Marks" on it as well - which are horizontal burn mark striped across the print in several places. The clerk at the frame shop explained that this happens because the printer decided to blow powder between the prints (to keep them from sticking together) before the ink was a dry. The clerk suggested I exchange it. So I called prints.com to exchange it for an unmarked copy and was completely shocked to hear the uneducated woman on the other end of the line say that she didn't care at all at whether it was their fault or not - they absolutely refused to exchange it! It had been over the 30 day return policy, and even though I hadn't unrolled it until before Christmas to discover their defects, she would not budge - their fault or not. I asked to speak with the manager, but the operator would not let me, and began to insult me on top of it, seeming to enjoy her small amount of power in the world - very sad and strange. Poor quality and poor customer service = bad combo. read more

I ordered a print from these people and after a week(7-8days) I called to ask them when I could expect delivery. I was treated with arrogance I have not seen in years. I became frustrated and hung up. After calming down I rethought the matter and decided to call back and cancel the order. This time I received some fantacy land character who thought he was still living in the days of "Gone With the Wind"(antibellium South). After being told I was no gentelman "he" decided to cancel my order. What world are these fruits living in ??? I could not have been more impressed with the way I was treated both on the phone and when I went to the store to pick up my print. Jim was very knowledgeable about the print I was purchasing and went out of his way to help me. I was even able to pick up my print immediately after making my purchase rather than wait twenty-four hours to pick it up. I genuinely felt that Jim was interested in the print that I selected and took the time to find out the back story on how I had discovered this print. Absolutely a great buying experience. read more

I bought 2 Mort Kunstler pieces online, one of which from prints.com. As I'm new to purchasing art, let me explain a little bit about how my situation worked. From what I can tell, Mort Kunstler sells his pieces on his website and then certain approved art sellers. The list price is always the same if you buy from his online site or one of the approved sellers. In this situation, he no longer how the piece I wanted available online, but Texas Art Depot did. The online order went smoothly. There was no immediate email confirmation leading me to believe the actual confirmation is manual the next day. never I received an email the piece was being shipped Fedex. Now, here is where it get a little interesting. I couldn't get an actual FedEx number (they never gave it to me, which I thought was weird in the 21st century. However, I think there is a very specific reason why. Mort Kunstler actually mails the piece from his office in PA. Basically, I think Mort keeps the pieces but the other galleries have some (maybe just 1) and then are allocated a certain number, though they actually stay in PA. I'm new to art, I'm not sure how common this is. In the end, I was taking a nap and the FedEx arrived late Saturday afternoon with the piece. I was home and signed for it. This is my estimation of the process. Hopefully it will help other potential art buyers to understand what happens out there. Of course, I don't know how common this is. The piece is beautiful, was wrapped very well, and arrived in 5 days. If they gave confirmation the piece has been shipped, I would give it 4 stars. If they gave confirmation the piece was being shipped and a Fedex number, I would give it 5 stars. read more

I had three more smaller prints framed at Prints.com to complete my "bucket list" effort to beautify my home and add to our collection of lovely wildlife limited edition prints. Two were by Carl Brenders..."Brotherly Love" and "Just Shy of Sly" and one was by Bradley Parrish..."Shy Boy". They were framed beautifully and are stunning! Thanks so much for the great service and for doing such a great job. P.S. If you live close... the guys like chocolate chip cookies. read more

I would have to agree with the other people reviewing the business. I experienced the same arrogance when I called. The delivery time was slow and the freight charge was extremely high. I would say I was charged 4 times the amount based on what the seller told me he paid. I would not purchase from them again. In my opinion, prices are high...I will certainly do more research next time. read more

I ordered a framed print (Approximatley 200.00). Since it had not arrived within 2 weeks past the due date, I sent an email to ask where it was. I got a return email saying they just finished it yesterday. It arrived with large dark spots similar to ink on the matting. I even sent them a picture of it. I was working with a gentleman in Customer Service to get it resolved, which took 7 days to even get a label..He kept telling me he had emailed the return label to me. I told him that I was having a problem with my printer but I did not get the email with the label. He said he would have the mailing service print one and pick up the package. I called the mail delivery service after 6 days and I even went to one of their offices at a different time to confirm he had set it up. They knew nothing about this return. After 14 emails and also some phone calls I was actually afraid to send the print back. I emailed him and said that I would take care of it on this end because I had enough..He replied in a simple email saying "Okay, thanks for your business" with no concern. I later called him and asked why any business would send a print out with marks on it. I also confirmed that I would not be sending it back. He told me sometimes that just happens and no one did it on purpose..As I was talking to him about his comment he hung the phone up on me. As many times as I have called any of the business numbers I always get the same person so I am assuming it is a very small business. I am very disappointed to be honest about it. read more

I bought an art print from prints.com. The website described the print as being 24 1/4 by 36 inches (paper size). When it arrived, the paper size was actually 20 3/4 by 36 inches. This 2 1/2 inch difference in the height of the paper means it does not fit the frame intended for it. The print was also of awful quality. A friend owns the same print, but bought it from a gallery and they are like 2 entirely different prints. Because prints.com misrepresented the size of the print, I contacted them about arranging a return and requested that they refund both the purchase price and the price of shipping. The person I talked to, Bob, said they would consider it when they got the print back, and when I pressed him on it, he very rudely said they would certainly not refund any shipping costs, even if it was falsely advertised. He refused to transfer me to anyone else and claimed he was the only person who works for prints.com and he gives the final answer and even if I called back, I couldn't speak to anyone else. He said he didn't care about providing customer service and didn't care if I filed a BBB complaint and hung up on me. I have never encountered such atrocious customers service. Not only was the item not what it was represented to be in size and of generally poor quality, but the company was incredibly rude and didn't care about customer service at all. read more
