The selection of styles was really impressive too. We got very good advice on what to use for materials and matting and while the price was not for the faint of heart, the quality is very high and I know it will last. I would have wished for a little more proactive communication in terms of completion (I had to call a few times for updates) but I'm very happy with the work they did. It looks like a little White House with black trim. It looks more like an artist studio than a craft store. If you are there for the supplies you will hardly notice. Tradewinds does framing and they have traditional art supplies (no glue guns or glitter). Framing- a lot of artists go here to frame shows. From what I have seen, the work is perfect and the prices are very good. Art supplies--go here for Windsor & Newton watercolors!! Even the Series 4 (the most expensive) paints were REALLY reasonably priced! They also have sheets of watercolor and printmaking paper, well priced sketchbooks, paintbrushes. I found a rather exotic specialty watercolor brush that I didn't even know existed...and I've consumed a lot of art supplies. John/Jon is the guy that has generally been there and helped me. If you talk to him you will find him kind and funny. I wish more artists knew about this place and supported it. It's a gem.
