I love PrintPlace! I was going to an event for work and my boss at the last minute asked me to come up with some ideas for swag we could hand out to promote our business. I thought stickers would be a good idea and landed on PrintPlace. I am no artist and to be honest, I had no idea how to design a sticker or even how the printing process worked. I called their customer service and they walked me through the process and explained to me what type of files were best to use and made me realize how easy it was lol. I told them that I needed the stickers fast and the rep suggested that the five business day option should be fine but I didn't want to take any chances, so I chose the one day option - I really appreciated the honesty and their patience for walking me through process. Horrible horrible horrible idiotic runaround - at every step... SOOOO incompetent. I've received 6 proofs to approve for 2 items - 2 of which were sent to me after the item I actually did get was delivered. It's difficult to believe that an outfit THIS non-organized and idiotic stays in business - it's probably one of those that shuts down & opens back up under a similar but not-exactly-the-same name kinda shady place would do. We chose to use Print Place because they "guaranteed" same day printing and next day shipping for a quick turn around order. We paid the premium for the shipping but due to a backlog on their production side - which we were not told about and only discovered by checking in on the order ourselves - the items were not going to ship in time for the event. At first they refused to give a refund, despite not delivering on their promise. Not great, as this was their error, and not a customer error. But thanks to Glenda, and her excellent customer service, we finally got a confirmation number for a full refund. Things happen, like production back logs, and thankfully we caught it in time so that we could make last minute arrangements to print locally at a brick and mortar store. I ordered 2000 business cards from this place, but FedEx sent it back without attempting a delivery or letting us know they are waiting for us to pick it up (I know we were right at the delivery address as our business was open). That is FedEx, not PrintPlace.com. But here goes the story. 1. I reached out PrintPlace.com and they told us that they had not received it from FedEx, and told us to wait for a few more days. 2. I reached out PrintPlace.com after seeing no updates in FedEx tracking record for 4 days. FedEx told us to reach out to the shipper (PrintPlace.com). PrintPlace.com promised to reach out to FedEx and update me the next day. I obtained the email address from the representative. 3. They never sent any updates for almost a week. I reached out to the person 3 times by email but they were all ignored. 4. I reached out to PrintPlace.com and had to explain all these again, and told them just to reprint and ship it at this time, but not with FedEx. They created a replacement order. When I asked the shipping career, they said FedEx. I asked them to use another career and the they closed the chat. I am still waiting for my order to arrive after more than a month. [Edit on 6/16/24] Yes, we received the cards eventually and we are happy with the quality. If the customer service person didn't promise to deal with FedEx to receive the original print back to reship, I would have asked them just to reprint and reship, which could save a lot of time. If anyone experience delivery issues, just ask printplace.com to reprint and reship instead of letting them try to get the original print back from FedEx. That will never happen (well, there's a possibility that the package was lost by FedEx or something, but I think printplace.com should still share the outcome of the investigation with us). read more

Although I asked for a guarenteed overnight delivery, as I had a flight to catch and needed these items, print place charged me $117 for shipping and still sent it ups ground. This would have cost them $14 and is not guarenteed to arrive the next day. I will never use them again. read more

If I Could Give Negative Stars, I Would! This was the worst experience I've ever had! Everything went wrong from the start. I made it clear that I needed my materials within a week for a convention show and even paid for the shorter turnaround time. Despite that, they didn't ship my order until the middle of the following week--well past my deadline. When the items finally arrived, the quality was appalling. The card stock was so thin it felt like photo paper, and the banner was broken! To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, they only gave me 50% back. I've been asking for a full refund since then, but now they're completely ignoring me. This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and unresponsive. Is this cold war Russia or a Seinfeld episode? Waiting in long lines to be told to come back later? I needed a banner. Great. I submitted images but they didn't repeat automatically and no way to adjust. Called phone support but they couldn't connect me to the art department. Really? I realized they are in the Philippines and have no authority. OK tried to fix it but wasn't working and decided I'd use someone else who actually has support who can help. So I called support again asking for a refund but they can only request from billing. Someone isn't up on their customer service standards in 2023. 5 days later and still waiting on my refund. + I've tried to unsubscribe from their emails but they just keep coming. It's almost like Harry Potter's Hogwarts invitation - Forget no post on Sunday. They won't be stopped by any silly CANSPAM drivel or silly Dursley! Terrible - The lighted stand is broken out of the box and will not turn on. - The stand is not sturdy enough to keep the plaque from falling over - The place we meet is not even showing up on the map but everything around it is. - Not sure why they stick to a dark map where if they did the light mode of the map there would be blue where the ocean is - Said it would ship out in 1 - 3 days. UPDATE: After a month, no one, has responded to my request for a refund. I've never heard from this supposed manager who was supposed to process my claim in anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on my call (5) and who I was talking to. I have disputed the charge with my bank. I was given 5 days to provide my information, complete with multiple photos, and now I have to wait 2 months for Print Place to respond. I doubt they will, but if they were a decent company, they would have already responded. And their "customer service" would not be asking me to publish my order number in a public forum. They have all my information, a refund request and a bank dispute. How many red square stickers do they reprint and screw up each month that they couldn't find my claim in 5 minutes? That should tell you more. I wanted to like this company but it just keeps getting worse. I ordered 1000 square stickers with a border. I received the stickers promptly and the color and image were good, but they were either printed or cut crooked and off center. These were supposed to help kick off a fundraiser and you can't put yourself out there like this when asking people for money. We gave Print Place the opportunity to reprint, but the replacement order was worse than the original order. Just taking a quick look at them, we found 3 different sets of white spots across the red stickers, still had crooked black borders and off center stickers and when verifying the count by weight 3 different ways, we found we were short by 100 or more stickers. Both orders also had damaged stickers from the way the stacks were placed in the boxes (some folded under) and shipped without any wrapping to keep them from shifting and getting bent. By contrast, we ordered sticker sheets from another company. They were wrapped in bundles, arrived looking super sharp, undamaged and we have an overage so that if we discover a flawed sheet or a few in the stacks, we will still have enough to cover our order. That is professionalism I submitted my request for a refund, complete with the requested photos. I was told it would take a day or two, then 2-3 days to process. It is approaching 2 weeks and even with several phone calls, I have been unable to get the refund processed. There is apparently one person who has to handle the refund and they can't get to it in several times what I was told to expect. After the first order, I would say probably don't use Print Place for bordered stickers. After the reprint, I cannot recommend them at all. They were great to deal with until then, and the people are still nice enough -- they just haven't been able to get the job done. Interestingly, I cannot find a way to leave a review on their website, so apparently the company has chosen the reviews you are seeing. You might get lucky, but with so many choices, why take a chance? If you do, be sure to use a credit card so you can dispute the charge. Guess it's time to call my bank. read more

Because the schedule was taking so long, I paid $200 extra for 2 day shipping that took 4 1/2 days. I had to order the minimum 100 boxes to get the type I needed. You would think four retractable banners would be no big deal for a company such as PrintPlace, right? Apparently not. Honesty, integrity, and quality products are not what they excel at. What they do excel at is deception, lying, and shoddy printing. I proceeded to place my order for three sets of retractable banners, ten in total, on a Tuesday, and I needed my project in whole by Thursday, Friday at the latest. Fully doable according to their website. Art was ready, they just needed to print, assemble, and ship. Even though they are only 4 hours away via highway, I still purchased their one-day turn and overnight shipping just to be safe. The art from the first two sets uploaded just fine. No proof necessary. I trust them. The third would not take. All the art was the same size, but for some reason, the last one wouldn't go through. This was late in the evening after their working hours, so I figured I would just chat with them the following morning. I did, and the gentleman on the other end of the chat accepted my art. PDF proof came a few hours later, and I accepted it. We might be in good shape for Friday. By this time my first two sets had already printed and shipped, and I already had my tracking numbers. Later in the day on Wednesday, I get the notification that there were problems with the art. Fine. I'll fix. I'll upload. No proof necessary, because I need these ASAP. TWENTY-FOUR HOURS LATER, I get a call with them telling me that they couldn't figure out which page from a multi-page PDF to print. This was after I had already uploaded and approved two of the SAME graphics previously. My fault for the multi-page PDF, but looking at the previous uploads should have indicated which page to print. This happened well after the fulfillment window, and getting the banners by Friday was now impossible. The customer service rep I spoke to (over the phone), Jennilyn, offered Saturday delivery and a $200-something refund after being unable to explain why they decided to wait until the last possible second to try and fix the order so that I couldn't get my banners in time. She gave me answers off of her job aid/cheat sheet and couldn't give me a REAL explanation on why so long in processing my art. Out of options, I had to accept and beg my customer for forgiveness for the delay. What else can I do at this point? Thursday comes, and FedEx delivers the first two sets. I unpack and inspect. A couple of the banners are shredded in the lower corners. It looks like the assembly crew assembled the banners in their stands as fast as they could without any regard for quality assurance. You pay for expedited service, you risk getting a lesser quality product I guess. As I wait Saturday like an old man in my rocker on my front porch to accept the remaining banners that I'm supposed to deliver first thing Monday morning to my client, the delivery NEVER arrives as promised by Jennilyn. I check the tracking numbers they provided with my order, and FedEx tells me that the labels weren't even created until AFTER Friday's last overnight drop. Mid-Monday comes. Still no delivery from PrintPlace. I decide to start a chat to check the status of the shipment. I get someone named Saint-something. I unfortunately, didn't screen grab the chat, so I didn't get his full name. After lengthy delays in responses, he eventually tells me that the shipment was sent out on Friday earlier in the afternoon. "Were they picked up by FedEx?" "Yes, we shipped them FedEx." "But did FedEx pick them up?" No straight answer. I also asked if they specified Saturday delivery since this is a box you have to check with FedEx. No direct answer and dodging every question I ask. He promises to get more information and will call or email by 3:00 CDT with a status update. You can guess where this went. I received neither the phone call nor email promised. Later in the evening I continue to check the tracking info provided. Lo and behold, FedEx picked up the shipment at 8:17 in the evening... on the Monday after the Friday they were supposed to be shipped that I was told by Saint-something and Jennilyn. The worst I have ever seen. I ordered 1,000 stickers and both the bottoms and tops of the stickers were cut crooked. My six-year-old blind folded could have done better. PrintPlace agreed to fix the issue and print new stickers and they also agreed to overnight the new stickers. Do you think they would have at least looked at the new stickers before overnighting? Nope, the second set was worse than the first set. I requested shipping so I could send them all the crooked 2,000 stickers they have sent me. Oh no, they didn't want that! PRINT PLACE ROCKS! Why? Not only did they print my step-n-repeat for my first trade show ever but they edited and re-edited my design a few times and I definitely got on their nerves. On top of that, I thought it was going to be blurry but thankfully somebody's human eyes made sure it was FANTASTIC before it was sent. To top it all off, it arrived 2 full days early! A full week before my show. I'm not sure what these 1 star reviews are about bc I have to admit I was a huge, anxiety ridden a hole but they did an EXCELLENT JOB which is why I had to write a review. Extremely poor customer service!!! I placed an order and they sent it via DHL and it not only didn't arrive it was lost. DHL tracking said they gave it to USPS for delivery, USPS tracking says they're waiting for DHL to give it to them. When I spoke with PrintPlace they said it was the shipper's fault and not their responsibility and that I should call DHL. I told the PrintPlace rep that it was their responsibility to contact DHL on my behalf only to be told they have no way of doing so. When I called DHL they told me to contact PrintPlace as they have an agreement with PrintPlace to resolve these issues and that they have a special resolution line for such issues. The order came in 2 shipments and 1 shipment was great but the other was not. Requested replacements on February 21st. I have called and emailed and no updates, no replacements, no refunds.
