Alphagraphics - STAND-OFF WALL SIGNS

Alphagraphics

I had a relatively small, quick project for Alpha, and the experience was easily five stars…read more Patrick had a whole phone conversation with me to get a sense of my needs, which in itself I wouldn't expect from a print shop for a $30 job. I needed an 18"x24" poster print mounted on foam board, and in my project request I mentioned we would be displaying the poster on a tabletop easel. Patrick clearly read the whole request and gave it thoughtful consideration, because he advised that for an extra few dollars, Alpha could add foldable easel wings to the back of our poster - heck yes! I'd gotten a quote from another larger print shop - let's call them Kedex-Finko's - and the price for this job was easily going to top $50. Alphagraphics was a better price, and definitely a better and more personal customer experience. The final product was sharp, sturdy, and beautiful - a really clean print. From initial request to project completion, Alpha had the whole thing done in about 24 hours. Highly recommend them for any print job, personal or professional.

Had a last minute request for a campaign-related item for printing that required some design and…read moreimage quality checks, and with an admittedly lightning fast turnaround time. Not only did these guys accelerate their process to get it done, they advised on design reviews, stayed after hours to complete the job, arranged for after-hours pickup, were VERY competitive on pricing, and enabled us to be prepared for an event we would otherwise been left behind on. Can not recommend them (and in particular Patrick) enough for printing services in the area. There's a reason why big chains don't often cut it-- here is proof.

The UPS Store

I was referred first to the kiosk to process my Amazon return because the registers were occupied…read more I chose to wait bc my item was bulky. The store is pretty busy, small and parking in Westfield can be a bit of a hassle but I'd return if I'm in town. The man who helped me was fine. Got the job done.

On March 4, 2026, at approx 9am, I arrived at the store to complete merchandise returns…read more According to the store's posted operating hours, the location opens at 8:00 AM. However, when I arrived, the store was closed. Another patron and I waited outside until 9:17 AM when an employee--whom I believe may be the manager and possibly the only employee regularly working at this location--arrived and opened the store. This was not an isolated incident. On numerous occasions in the past, the store has either opened late or temporarily closed during posted business hours while the employee left the premises to run personal errands. There have also been instances where I was asked to wait outside because the employee was leaving the store to obtain breakfast, during which time the store was closed to customers. When the employee arrived on March 4, I calmly expressed my frustration regarding the repeated delays and closures during the posted hours of operation. At the time, I had my two-year-old child with me. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, the employee became visibly upset and defensive and began verbally confronting me about why she was late. The employee then chose to serve the other waiting customer while refusing service to me. She subsequently locked me out of the store and waited for police to arrive. I contacted the police myself, and when they arrived they informed me that businesses may legally refuse service. However, the circumstances strongly suggest that this refusal was based on a personal grievance rather than any legitimate business or safety concern. As a result of this situation, I was forced to drive approximately three miles to another UPS Store location in order to complete my returns. While there, I was told that several residents from my neighborhood frequently travel to that location because they prefer not to deal with the employee at the Plainfield store or because the store is often closed with a sign stating that the employee will return shortly.

I brought in my own hat to be embroidered with my own design. Design doesn't fully match the design…read moreproof that was sent. The blue in the rainbow gets covered by the purple, and the arc in the rainbow got smooshed. I know I had a detailed design, which was my error, but I wish it could've looked more like the proof. Heads up for any newbies like me: it took about a week to get a digital design proof, and then another 4 days for it to be complete. Not complaining; just stating the timeline! Comms via email were very timely and I found them informative on the process of embroidery (stitches, colors, etc). Next time I won't choose such a complicated design, but I'm glad they were able to pull it off!

Purchased 3 shirts Get It While It's Hot, Rusty Anchor, Butter Queen via Etsy…read more Butter Queen (which by design had two blocks missing from the banner on butter queen and looked like a big mistake, my fault for not catching that) and Get it While Its Hot both had flaws in the printing. A blotch in the BQ and pretty noticeable crease in the Get While Shirts. I contacted the shop and this the response. 'We can do a reprint or a partial refund, but I would say to keep in mind that these are hand printed and not always 100% especially with printing on dark colors,' So pretty much a crap shoot if you order a dark t-shirt and want a proper product. That was on the 12th and since I needed them for an event, requested refund and yet to hear back. $60 for 3 shirts, two flawed. I'd never do business if you have to rely on lighter colors of fabric to get a correct product. pfff
