I was absolutely devastated by the damage... but over the next few days I got outstanding support from this business. They cleared out dump piles and trash, removed and replaced the refrigerator and took out years of weeds and overgrowth from the yard... all while being so kind and supportive. They did a great job. The second time I had given them a 1 hour time limit and was a bit concerned at the job done. I emailed and they told me that they respected the time limit I had imposed and had to make calls on the most important parts to clean. I knew I had left serious clutter behind and I appreciated the honesty and the priority of not charging me more than I had agreed to pay. We came to an agreement for extra time if needed, and the next time they came I did a better job of picking up clutter and the place looked great. That would be enough for a five star review, but it got better. I recently broke both wrists and, understandably, am having trouble cleaning. I sent them a detailed list and an apology for the clutter. They have come twice now and have done an amazing job. They made the bed the way I asked, they even folded the clothes! They spent the time on the places I asked, and I think went above and beyond expectations. I've had places that just don't clean things and it has been really frustrating. This company respects the money I am spending by not going over the allotted time and was honest about the job, and while not rude at all, made sure I knew that the clutter was a major factor. I appreciate the frankness and their commitment to meet my requests, the top one being how much I was ok to spend. I've finally found my cleaning service in Seattle.

I couldn't recommend Oswaldo enough. He helped us steam clean three bedroom carpets, two flights of stairs and two rugs. The rugs and carpets are looking like new again. He took extremely good care of making sure the hoses don't rub against the walls, stair banisters and doors. He vaccines, brushes, sprays and then steam cleans. After it is all done Oswaldo and I walked through all rooms and made sure he got to all the corners and areas possible. I had to reschedule last minute due to personal reasons and he graciously accommodated me to the next earliest available date. He was always communicating and answering all the questions and stayed very professional through all the time. Will definitely hire him again and greatly recommend him. read more

Oswaldo did a great job on our carpets! Declined to clean our sofa as it was a rayon blend and the steam cleaning would have shrunk it. So glad he was honest and didn't go ahead and clean it anyway as that would have made more money for him but a mess for us. I would definitely recommend Principles Pro Services. read more

He was also the one who performed the cleaning, and I appreciated both his pleasant attitude and his willingness to reschedule my appointment previously. That said, I'm unfortunately pretty disappointed with the actual service. When scheduling, I specifically explained that I was looking for a deep cleaning of the carpeted stairs and hallways. I also asked beforehand whether furniture could be moved and was told that it could be. Once he arrived, however, moving the furniture was never mentioned again, and I probably should have spoken up about it at the time. What surprised me most was the cleaning process itself. He used a hand vacuum, sprayed the carpets with cleaning solutions from spray bottles, then went over them with what appeared to be a standard Shark vacuum and another machine that, as far as I could tell, didn't use water or perform the type of extraction/deep cleaning I was expecting. The entire service took less than an hour and cost $180. To his credit, the carpets did smell better afterward, and he was very nice throughout the visit. He even recognized my screen name and jokingly mentioned that he'd wondered what kind of customer I might be...which was actually pretty funny. Thankfully, I promise I'm less terrifying in person. But ultimately, my family and I weren't happy with the final result. For $180 and a service described as a deep clean, I expected a noticeably deeper level of carpet cleaning than what we received. Instead, I was left with the unfortunate feeling that I could have rented a carpet-cleaning machine and achieved a more thorough result myself for considerably less money. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially when the person providing the service was genuinely nice. But friendliness and results are two different things. I appreciated him coming out and enjoyed talking with him; I just don't feel the service I received matched what I understood I was paying for.
