    Holographic nails

I love princess nails, I searched for nearly a year to find a good nail tech tht was able to do all the creative designs and be able to keep up with the current trends!!! Thank you Fiona!!! I haven't been any where else since and their prices are so reasonable you can't beat it!!!

This is how I left princess nails after the man ripped off my nail and disrespected me.

Today I had the worst experience. I usually go to princess nails and I have had nothing less then a 5 star experiences. But today, a very run older man swooped me up from my usual person table and asked me to set down at his station. He then began to scold me for having glue on my nails, which is a hazard of my job. Then he got mad at me ripped off one of my nails. When he got frustrated with that he gave me a saturated cotton ball and told me to take off my own nail polish. I asked for my regular person and he lied to me saying he was not there. I told him I saw him and spoke with him when I came in. He then told me he went to something to eat. At this point I told him I'm leaving and left. I have never been so disrespected.

I come here every 2 weeks for gel polish only, I have tried other salons but they do the best. ALTHOUGH the owners are super rude. My favorite person is the lady who sits in the middle right up front. Today I went and didn't see her, so I went to another lady who has done my nails before. I went to pay and handed her 28 dollars because I am always only charged 20 dollars for them to take off my gel, and repaint with gel. I am halfway out the door and she comes running out to me saying I didn't give her enough and it's 30 dollars. NEVER had I ever been charged 30 dollars for gel only. I don't know if the lady did this for an extra tip or what. She did an amazing job but I will wait for my regular lady next time.

Badly chipped after three days, for no reason. Way too thin, also.

This salon and spa was wonderful find. I was really impressed by what I saw and my experience. I…read moredecided to get a Brazilian wax for the first time and started looking for places in my area, didn't easily find one but did find Shannon Aleksandr's in Evansville. They had and some really great reviews. I have to say I was not disappointed. Holly had a lot of great reviews so I made an appointment with her and I am so glad I did. I had done some research on having your first Brazilian, what to expect, how to prepare, etc. I followed a lot of the online advise - took two OTC pain killers about an hour before my appointment (one blogger recommended a glass of wine but since I was driving, I skipped that), brought an ice pack for the ride home. So the pain killers was a great idea, I didn't need the ice pack at all. Holly was amazing; she made me feel so comfortable. She has a fantastic personality. She really makes me feel you so comfortable and at easy during something that can be a bit awkward. She explained the process; what she would be using, what she would be doing and why. I won't lie that were some painful moments but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Just a note - everyone is different; the amount of hair you have, coarseness of your hair, sensitivity of your skin, so everyone's experience will be different. Holly made conversation during the process and for me personally, that helped me feel more comfortable and take my mind off what was happening. She explained all the after care and what to do if I got an ingrown hair, etc. I was so impressed and pleased with the experience that I booked another appointment. Long review short - Holly is great and if you want waxing done, she's your girl.

I had my hair colored here a few weeks ago, and while the salon itself was nice and the appointment…read morewas pleasant, I left extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding pricing. The biggest issue was being charged $120 for toner, three separate toner charges at $40 each. At no point before or during my appointment was I told that three different toners would be used, that toner would be charged separately, or that an additional $120 would be added to my bill. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I didn't learn about the three different toner formulas being used until after the service was finished. When my stylist was discussing retail products and attempting to sell me additional items for home use, I declined. It was during that conversation, while preparing my receipt, that she informed me she had used three different toners to achieve the final result. The decision to use three different toner formulas was never discussed with me beforehand. My stylist may have felt they were necessary to achieve the desired color, but that was a creative choice made during the service. If those choices are going to increase the cost of an appointment by more than $100, clients should be informed before the products are applied--not after the service is complete and payment is due. I have medium-length, very fine hair and have had my hair professionally colored for years. I've never had a stylist add three separate toner charges without discussing them first. Whether one toner or three toners were actually used is less important than the fact that the charges were never disclosed. Based on the salon's advertised pricing, I expected my appointment to be under $200. Instead, my total came to around $300. Learning about an extra $120 charge only after declining additional retail products made the whole situation feel like a cash grab and left me feeling blindsided. Had the costs been explained upfront, I could have made an informed decision about how I wanted to proceed. The service itself was fine, the color for the most part, resembled the inspiration, but transparency matters. I don't mind paying for quality work, but I do expect to be told when a stylist's decisions will add significant charges to my bill. Unfortunately, the lack of communication overshadowed what could have been a pretty pleasant experience.
