I got a gel manicure. She did not soak my hands, trim my cuticles, or do anything expected with a manicure besides trim and file my nails. My nails chipped within 24 hours and by the end of week one faded to a completely different color. Not worth the money go somewhere else much better for the same $! read more

I got some Acrylics done and the guy who did it cut me at least 3 times and had me bleeding and then didn't do what I asked for I had asked him for black french tips and he painted my whole nails black and didn't confirm if that was correct or wrong before he did it and the acrylic just looked bad in my opinion and for my first time getting my nails done. And the vibe of the guy who was doing my nails was just wrong he seemed pretty sketchy and my mom even said that he seemed like he was a little off. I went there this past Monday. Victoria is garbage!!!! She got mad when I asked for a certain kind of manicure, if you don't want to do the work then don't work there. She then aggressively started to cut my cuticles and made me bleed and said it was an accident. She should be FIRED for the way she treats and talks about people!!!! I give you ZERO stars because of her!! I will never be back my nails look like trash a huge waste of money. My toenail polish is already coming off too. I was once a frequent client and hadn't been in awhile. Got a gift certificate at Christmas and because of COVID 19 hadn't been to make an appointment. The salon opened back up and I had a short window to use the gift certificate. I got their Pina Colada pedicure option, which included callous removal. My nail tech she scrubbed my callous with An erase type sponge when I was there it hadn't bothered me. And I asked her if she could remove my ingrown toenail on same side of callous, left foot. My foot started hurting about 2 hours after I left. I reached out on social media to Creative Nail Salon and they requested I called to talk on phone about my issues, so I obliged. They wanted a picture of my foot and acted like it was my fault like my skin was too thin. I've had 100's of pedicures in my life! I reminded them when I had taken my my mom there when she wasn't Bed bound and how poorly we were treated. She has Alzheimer's and was assured they were Alzheimer's friendly. Wrong! I will never spend another dime in there,I will let everyone know how horrible this place is!! i wanted my $40 returned. That was never offered!! I haven't been able to show off my pretty polish because my callous is still hurting and either requires a sock or shoe. My doctor says not to go barefoot til this is completely healed. He advised me NOT to ever go to this nail salon and one that doesn't stand behind their work. Stay far away from Creative Nail Spa. Guess they can't refund their $40, it just might be the way they can take their little get aways. I will recommend other nail salons, just ask. Customer service is horrible beyond words!! read more

Can't believe i wasted my money here. Asked for a design which is the only reason i came here and they refused because i was a walk in. If I'm paying 50+ dollars for my nails to be done they should be done the way i want them to. Instead i got a misshapen heart on my finger that i myself have to go home and cover. I went there about January 2020, I asked for these pretty ombré nails with pink at the top going down white. I didn't get what I paid for. This place is so unsanitary the guy didn't even wipe his desk off and there was that dust stuff from acrylics everywhere! He didn't use gloves or a new file for me he used the same one for the past costumers on me. He glued my acrylic on crooked and when he was shaping them he was very aggressive and wasn't easy on me. When he did the paint it was a very very light pink and you could still see through a little. There was even finger prints on my acrylic from when he did the dip powder. Creative Nail Spa is the only place in Evansville I will go to for my mani/pedi's. I've been a customer for years and recommended my friends and family to them and have never been disappointed. The staff is top notch, the interior is immaculately clean and more than comfortable. It's a family-owned and established business. The owners actively participate in our community. I've never had to wait for an appointment, and the owners, Kristy and Doug have always been professional and courteous to me and every customer I've seen walk through their doors. They treat their customers as family, which in this day and age is rare and should be valued. Lauren and Lynn are absolutely wonderful nail techs. I've been to most of the salons in Evansville and the surrounding area and they are the best. Creative Nails owner Kristy is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. After the pandemic, Creative Nails started taking appointments by email, voice-mail and Facebook. I had made an appointment via email and it was confirmed. I went to my appointment and Kristy told me I had the wrong date. After her son checks the appointment book, and talks to his mom and dad, the error was due to Kristy 's husband Doug and Kristy had miscommunicated and booked me at a different times. Kristy never admits she's wrong and places blame on me arriving on the wrong date. I was a customer of Creative Nails for a couple of years before I finally stopped going to Creative Nails. My nail stylist was Keta. She was the only employee I let do my manicure and pedicures. Keta is friendly, kind and has excellent skills at manicures and pedicures! I quit going to Creative Nail after Keta discontinued employment. Before making my final decision to never come back, two incidents happened and a third after: 1) Doug paints my nails and scraps the residual nail polish off "with his fingers"! 2) Another nail tech "dip" paint my nails. Within a week my nails looked awful and was polish peeling off. I called and went to Creative Nails to show my nails. The co-owner Doug stated, "we will redo my nails "no charge"!. He didn't realize it was all 10 fingers and under his breath he told the nail tech to charge me $25! I had just paid almost $75 for pedi and mani and it's peeling off in ONE WEEK! 3) My family bought a $100 Creative Nails gift certificate (thinking I still patron Creative Nails). The gift certificate expired by a few weeks. I was going to give certificate to my granddaughter. I spoke with Kristy and ask if would honor certificate. I explained I had covid twice and unable to use certificate. She said, her accountant already closed the books and that she has had covid, too, and she's at a loss! I ask again, if she would honor the gift certificate, and said your business profited off no service, so how were you at a loss? She walked away from me! I will never go there again!! read more

Had a really great first experience here about a month ago, but yesterday, my second appointment, was unfortunately my worst experience. I wanted a classic, simple nude almond medium length nail. What I got was bumpy, uneven shaped nails. My technician was Doug, I believe. Aside from his sarcastic "hello," immediately making me feel unwelcome, even though I had made a appointment a day previously, my entire appointment felt very rushed. I get more clients equals more money, but when I'm paying $50+, I expect it done like I want it, perfectly. Like a lot of people, I have stress in my life and need to relax once in a while, and getting my nails done is relaxing to me, but this whole experience was just uncomfortable for me. I realise after reading other reviews, I am not alone in feeling rushed and getting a bad manicure. I about leave for vacation next week and now I feel like my nails are ruined for it. Wow! I'm very happy after my visit. I called because I was in need of a pedicure and wasn't sure if I needed an appointment and just so you know, it is by appointment only. But they could get me in in 15 minutes, so I said perfect and ran over. There is great music playing softly, a man approached me and asked if it was my first time here and I said yes and she told me all about the different polishes and prices. Everyone was so incredibly nice. They also have a pedicure MENU, I've never seen this before. Different options such as scrubs, soaks and more. I was in awe. Even though I called ahead for an appointment, I waited nearly 1/2 hour for my mani-pedi. They shouldn't have any appointments if they can't keep them. The technician was too aggressive on my toes. It is a week later and I still have a sore spot where she cut too short. She did not take time to apply polish near the cuticle and therefore my fingernails look like they grew out in 2 or 3 days. My cousin who came with me also had a bad experience. Her beautiful blue nail polish began to chip off within 24 hours, and by the second day it was more than half gone. Ive visited twice and both times, I had good experiences. The girl that did my nails was fast and precise, especially compared to other places I've visited recently. I went a third time, but there was going to be a wait, so I decided to go somewhere else. I was a little confused because one lady was not busy, but maybe she had an appt coming. As with other nail places, I was charged differently for the same service on both occasions. I don't understand that but everyplace I go, that seems to be the norm.
