Very disappointing experience. The haircut was overpriced for the quality of the service. Unfortunately, the owner did not seem to have the skill or talent needed to deliver a decent haircut. I left unhappy with the result and would not recommend this salon. read more

I've been to dozens and dozens of hairstylists across NYC, and I have to say that Jenny is my favorite! I'm a Korean American woman with thick, coarse hair that's wiry in some places and straight in others, so that means that unfortunately most hairstylists I've gone to in the US can't do my hair right and often complain about it too lol. It felt nearly impossible for me to find a hairstylist outside of South Korea who could make my hair look good (without burning a large hole in my wallet), but I'm sooo happy to have found Jenny. So far I've had my hair treated, trimmed and/or permed on multiple occasions and have always been pleased with the results. Her prices are also more affordable than some of the other stylists I've been to in the past. Highly recommend!! read more

Princess Hair Gallery - Hair Salons Near Me - Flushing, New York

Great service, nice people, and good quality. It's the only place in NYC that hasn't let me down, and I fully trust them with my hair. Prices are great too. The vibe is chill and relaxing as well. read more

I would definitely recommend coming here compared to the overpriced hair salons in the city! The atmosphere is very nice and the stylists are great as well. Worth the money! read more

Jenny was AMAZING!!! Best haircut i have ever gotten. She was so kind and clearly an expert at what she does. I highly recommend her! 6/5 read more

My favorite hair salon in flushing. I live in California and I make an appointment here every 6 months when I'm in town! I usually ask for the owner who does such a great job with my hair. She uses a dry styling technique (meaning she dries the hair and then finishes up the haircut) and my hair falls perfectly EVERY TIME because of this. My mind was blown because before at other salons, they usually just cut it wet and then style it to make it look good for one day, and then when I go home it just looks bleh. But my hair looks good every time it dries after a shower read more

Michelle is my hair stylist at the Princess Beauty Salon. She cuts my hair to give it shape and lightness. I also have been getting hair coating, which is a hair treatment that gives hair protection and shine and also gives semi-permanent color to cover my grey hair. I highly recommend Michelle; she gives me honest opinion and I trust her. I've been getting my hair done by Michelle for the past four years. Very happy I found her! read more

My first time here was for a haircut. I usually find it hard to find someone who can cut my hairstyle the way I imagine it to be. But!! This place was a great surprise:) one of the best hair cuts I have had in a while, their shampoo doesn't leave my scalp itchy and the fragrance isn't overpowering. Thank you guys! read more

I don't usually get satisfied when I walk out of a beauty salon because I have a lot of hair that looks frizzy and it's pretty tricky to treat my hair without damaging it. I've had so many failures so I had to always put my hair up and make a bun. The hairdressers at the Princess Salon done a great job on my haircut & digital wave perm. It's been a few days after the treatment and I can finally put my hair down without worrying too much. In fact I feel pretty with my hair down now. Their prices were fairly reasonable and most of all my hair looks fantastic now. I would recommend it to anyone ! read more

I am so skeptical whenever I go to a hair salon... especially when it's a bit far away from my comfort zone (Manhattan). However, my cousin recommended me this place; the price was so affordable and the stylist (Michelle) is really careful. Throughout the process, she would ask me if I wanted it "this or that way" and I chimed in what I wanted and what I didn't want. At the end, the results were pretty great. My thick, healthy, long, but boring hair was transformed into a very fresh, clean, and stylish-look. I would definitely recommend this place for those who have straight, boring-looking hair. I won't pay the usual $70-90 haircut anymore ;) read more

I wish i can give his place 10 stars. I went there for the first time to straighten my hair and i loved every moment. Grace , hair stylist did my hair and she was amazing. very disappointing. The hairdresser was very rude... She was complaining that my hair takes longer than others' I liked the style, BUT I will never ever go there..again only 2 hairdressers were there.. so pretty busy and crowded.. read more

I bleached and dyed my hair really frequently so my hair was really damaged. I went in and got a Brazilian treatment from tae. She was so friendly and really cared about my hair. Initially I wanted a magic perm but she told me it will damage my hair more so I opted for a Brazilian treatment. My hair has never been so soft and straight. She made sure I was comfortable by giving me and my friend a mask so we don't inhale the chemical smell, offered tea, coffee etc. I will continue coming here for any of my hair issues. Tae is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was talking about. If you need a perm or a hair cut- go to tae. read more

The owner of the salon did my hair. I got a digital perm and she did a great job. Communication is a bit hard.

I was very pleased with my haircut. She immediately pointed out the uneven layers of my hair which I didnt even notice until she said that.. (btw that mistake was from kpop star hair salon). Michelle tried her best on cutting my hair by fixing the layers as much as she could, and because of her amazing effort my hair felt smooth and light when she finished. Michelle also gives humble suggestions to the type of hairstyle that could suit me as she went along in cutting my hair. read more

Agree, very disappointing. Was looking for a new place to go for pedicures with my mom (I wanted a manicure, too) and I thought we'd try this place. Big mistake. Rude, unprofessional staff, everything you do not want in a salon/spa experience. Will never go back, and do not recommend to anyone. There are so many salons in the neighborhood, there's no reason to go here. I do wonder how they've been around 10 years. read more

Ann does a wonderful job. She does a great job with my 4 year old who wouldn't sit still for anyone- but he does with her. I recently started getting my hair cut with her as well. She totally listens to what you want and does her best to deliver. I loved my cut and it grew out beautifully. I just got a digital perm with her and after showing her several different photos of what I want and what I didn't want, she did a great job. I also really like the location because it has a parking lot! Hard to find that in Flushing. read more
