It is slightly off-putting to come here at first as this establishment appears to be dirty and full of computers everywhere. A great, convenient locale which trades as a computer repair store; a store that buys and sells laptops and is also a high quality and fast Internet Cafe with cheap printing facilities. The rates are fairly cheap; we are talking about $2 for 20 minutes use of the Internet; not unlike paying the same amount for only half the time. And the loyalty system is quite good here as well. Regardless of how long you are on the Internet at any given moment; a minimum of 20 minutes is best to get your money's worth; for every five visits you earn credits to ensure that your sixth visit in using the Internet here is free of charge. Overall great value and prompt, friendly service. The same person is in all the time (he could be the owner) yet he always stops what he is doing at any given moment to look after each and every customer which is good to see; it is fantastic.

These days I have my own printer at home so I dont get down here much any more, but I do still use the place for scanning and other specialist computer stuff which I dont know anything about. Barnstormer is run by a very nice young man presumably of Indian heritage. He is extremely friendly, goes out of his way to help his customers and explains how things work to them. He also makes this place extremely good value for money. Im also very impressed with how he tolerates my children when I have to bring them in with me (they are 3.5 year old twin boys). He is very patient with them. Even though I now dont need to use this cafe often, I will always keep coming here when I need to scan or do specialist things involving a computer! I would recommend this place to anyone in the Brunswick or surrounding areas who doesnt have a computer at home! Long live Barnstormer Internet Cafe!!!

I can only conclude that it sells students to eat alongside curried pizza. Or maybe curried students ON pizza. Jokes aside, it's actually pretty tasty food. Quick, reasonably priced, easy, and somewhat inventive (I really like the idea of a "fusion takeaway"). It certainly beats a trip to Dominos or whatever your local is for a Hawaiian (when you can buy Fish Curry pizza?). And if pizza isn't your thing, why not get some goat. Goat is quite hard to track down these days, and I'm a fan of it as a meat. It's also halal. And no, they don't sell students.

Make no bones about it, this is a hardcore gamers internet zone. 'Obviously!' I hear you say. 'Have a look at the place's name.' Fair point but now at least nobody else on Yelp! won't make the same mistake. As you walk into Cydus the first thing that hits you is how dark it is. It is almost pitch black and the luminous screen lighting is all you can see by. The second thing that hits you is how quiet it is, everybody is wearing headphones, playing games, not talking. The third thing that hits you is that this place is expensive (in internet terms) at $3.30 an hour for non-members. It's $2.20 for members and membership costs $10. Most internet places are creepy, but walking in here from broad daylight is just weird. A world I don't want to know about or become involved in. If you're a gamer you'll probably love it, if you're looking to check your emails go somewhere else.
