I love Prince Frederick Ford in Calvert County!! I have been using PF Ford to purchase several vehicles and they are the only place I go now for service. Customer service is awesome and they always fit me in. Today I stopped by to schedule an appointment for a windshield wiper fluid "squirter" that wasn't working. I was skeptical of doing Business with a new to me car dealership but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I ended up buying a new F150 Lariat. I feel they were treating me fairly and answered all my questions. When it came to financing and the extras they presented them at a reasonable price. They kept their word about discounts even when they found out the discounts where not combinable. I feel they are as good as a car dealership can be. Also getting a F150 pretty much equipped the way I wanted for below sticker in this current climate was great. read more

I'm updating my review to add a star in view of the really great service that I received yesterday. I dropped off my car to have a leak in the roof repaired. I'm not sure why Ford's leak, but I've had two Ford's among the 20 or so cars I've owned that leaked. Anyway the technician was able to find and fix the leak at a reasonable price. While they were test driving my car they noticed a shudder in the recently replaced clutch. so without even asking they put in a new clutch for me at no cost and the car was ready when promised. That's the kind of service that will keep me coming back! read more

Update: I worked with management to consider accepting the Ford Service Card. They considered it. Not going to happen but they have been trying to accommodate in other ways. They mean well, but until they grow, they will have to make decisions like this. Doesn't accept the Ford Service card. The card from Ford! The card that gives customers rebates and 0% financing and that makes getting dealership service more palatable. Now I have to drive to Lexington Park. Unless you have stacks of cash for larger repairs, go somewhere else. It is a smaller place, no Quick Lane or car wash and limited inventory. Service advisors have been good, but have to deal with people like me asking why not. PF Ford, at your next staff meeting, pit accepting this card on the table and discuss it. A very sloppy 80$ dollar oil change, didn't inflate tires and when I got my vehicle back it smelled like oil and fuel in the cabin. Very unprofessional job, very dissatisfied with there work. Also the very next day I had a small puddle of oil in my garage. This was done on a 2017 F150 3.5 ecoboost. Stay away!!! read more

It was Friday.. I came down for the weekend..... it was 4:30 PM and my Ford truck would not start. I feared the worst, in Rockville (where I live) I am lucky if I get the truck in to the mechanic if it is looked at in two or three days. I called the dealership and talked to Aaron in service and told him I was having the truck towed in. He was very reassuring about having the truck looked at first thing Saturday morning. I am thinking to my self BS, I am not going to get my truck back until Monday or Tuesday. I called Aaron Saturday morning and he told me that he could get me in to a loner car if we needed to do that, wow that is a breath of fresh air, never got that offer from the local place in Rockville. Aaron called me around 10 and told me that they were programing a new key for my truck. Around 11 AM he called me and told me the truck was done. Wahoo!! I met Bradon the mechanic that worked on the truck and he reassured me that the spare key I had at home would work with the truck. Now for the best part... it only cost me $140.00. My husband is a parts manager for Mazda. My truck is a Ranger and that is a Mazda B series truck. When I told him what I paid he told me that it would have cost me $260 in Rockville. Took our car in for recall work. Received text at 11:00 am that the car was ready. Picked it up at 6:00 pm. Car had been left running and gas drained. None of the technicians and managers noticed a car had been left running ALL DAY. When we called to complain the manager tried to blame it on our remote starter. Unsure why this review isnt posted but this is from my visit 2 months ago: I would give zero stars if I could. I actually opted to go to this dealership to service my vehicle due to its score on here. Unfortunately the treatment I recieved from Jacqueline in the service department is disturbing. I understand the difficulties of dealing with high volume but I feel as though self awareness is important in customer service. She was extremely rude and talked down to me when I asked simple questions in regards to my vehicle. I shouldnt be the calm one giving customer service to the service provider in order to diffuse the exchange. Im unsure if she felt as though the standard of service I recieved was appropriate for me specifically as Ive seen others come in and recieve better treatment, but I value my time and money the same. Though I disagree with some policy that they have, I could've taken that up with the higher ups themselves and as I know service providers are only enforcing whats in place. I see that the owner replies to these reviews but even though you probably still will, dont. Im not interested in returning, discussing this, or what youll do to improve moving forward. I found this dealership much better than the one I have purchased my 2015 transt (Upper Marlboro). Natalie was very perfessonal and Arron was great to work with. I usually stay with the location I started with, but Upper Marlboro is terrible and tried to scam me,but I caught it.Thats what made me go to Prince Frederick location. They were straight up and on point with my veichicle. They showed me problem and even the mechanic who worked on it have some very helpful tips ony transit after the transaction was complete. Far too much detail to go into, dealership does not stand behind their product or warranties. Can not get my e-brake issue fixed under my extended warranty on a certified pre owned vehicle that in fact has a technical service bulletin out 12 2 3. I realize this is not a recall but a TSB so not unique to my vehicle. Made formal complaint to corporate. I got service done on my F-150 this week. Melissa was not just a customer service rep, she was a concierge. The way that she treated me, I felt that I was at a Mercedes dealership or something! She was so professional and responsive to my concerns and I was thoroughly impressed her! I will use PF Ford again and again thanks to how I was treated by Melissa. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars as opposed to 5; being a dealership, it was a bit pricy. I brought my expedition in for a warning light. I was told I needed a part replaced and my spark plugs changed. They were charging $700 for the spark plug change which seemed excessive. When my husband questioned them on the cost, they said there was a design flaw that made it so the spark plugs broke during the repair making them difficult to get out. They charge the same amount no matter how many break. We took it to another mechanic for a second opinion and turns out that problem was fixed the year before my car was made. He changed them for a fraction of the cost of the dealership. In addition I agree with another reviewer saying they nickel and dime you. The estimate was one thing but there were several "fees" in addition to the cost of the repair. Aren't rags and grease part of having your car fixed.? As it is they charge over $100 just to hook it to a computer to find out what is wrong with it. read more

Power was lost in automatic drivers seat, outside mirrors and adjustable pedal in 2006 F150. Googled to see if we could find the cause. Very common problem with water getting in to passenger floor board which corrodes the wires. The service writer stated that she had the same issue on her personal vehicle which was a simple wire fix. 3 hours and $300 later they were able to splice the wire. We have lived in Calvert county for 30 years and have tried to give our business to them but always walk away feeling that we've been taken advantage of. We are in the market for a new car, which will be our 5th ford. It will NOT be purchased from them. read more

i was there with a friend a couple days ago dropping his car off for service, and while he was inside taking care of paperwork, i was standing outside listening to a conversation about how the mechanics there use the shop for working on their friends vehicles for side money after hours an such..This individual was talking about installing a new engine in his friends old Jeep Cherokee, not doing something simple like an oil change or brakes, but an engine???? ...I just thought this was kinda strange considering the liability that would be involved if something was to happen to the individual(s) that were working on their car..Maybe this is a normal practice for them, but not smart from an insurance POV.... cheers :) CM read more

Went and looked at a 2016 F150 5.0 motor super crew cab truck. They were pushy on wanting to run my credit and pushy on for me taking the truck home to think about it. They took forever to appraise my trade in and the very next day had a severe problem with my vehicle. Took my business else where.
