What a gorgeous little gem in the heart of Nottinghamshire. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A quirky B&B in the small village of Cotgrave, in a beautiful old house with wooden beams and old fireplaces.
Paul and Susie, who run the place, are lovely. They greeted us warmly on arrival and were very chatty over breakfast. They clearly love what they do!
Really nice rooms - delightfully comfy beds and tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. Ours didn't have its own bathroom, but we knew that on booking and didn't mind. It was a lovely bathroom down the hallway!
One of the highlights of the place is the little farm outside. There's a dove hut, bee hives, a turkey and chickens. You can buy a pot of honey to take home!
Amazing award-winning breakfast to top off the stay. Homemade bread, really tasty sausages and bacon, and lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt. We didn't want to leave!
