Had a late lunch here recently while in the area. A large restaurant, with traditional mexican…read moreinterior, dark woods with bright and colorful decor. We were greeted walking in and seated within the same moment. Our servers were all kind and friendly. We started with their version of bean dip, beans with queso. It was okay, decent flavor and a nice portion. I opted for enchiladas Rancheras, a nice presentation with cheese enchiladas topped with tender pork, seasoned rice and beans. A mango Jarritos in the bottle to go with my meal, made for a nice lunch. It served its purpose. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind staff 01248

It took a long time to finally get our meal. When it finally came we were given the dinner order of Chicken AND Beef. We reminded her that we ordered the lunch Chicken. She said that this is what they made and she said that they could make another order. We don't believe in wasting food and we know that all they would do is throw it away, so we took it. The food was terrible. It had no taste and there was hardly any meat in the burritos. We have been to this restaurant several years ago and the food was very good. I don't know if they have changed the cooks, but the food is definitely bad now. We will never go here again. As for the service, it also was not very good. For a restaurant that didn't have anyone in it, it took too long to get our food and the server didn't have much of a personality. While we were waiting we heard a woman come in to pick up her order. We heard her say that she didn't get what she wanted either.

Every time we visit Williamsburg, stopping at La Terraza Mexican Grill is a must!…read more The food is authentic, fresh, and consistently delicious, with a wonderful balance of ingredients and generous portions. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, welcoming ambiance, and excellent service. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit feel special. The restaurant is also vegetarian-friendly and kid-friendly, making it a great choice for families. Whether you're visiting Busch Gardens, heading to Great Wolf Lodge, or exploring downtown Williamsburg, I highly recommend stopping by La Terraza Mexican Grill. It's a place we return to time and again, and it never disappoints!

Everything seemed to be pretty clean. Biggest issue not everything on the menu is available so I don't know why it would even be there. Each location should have its own menu if certain items aren't available at each. If you have a child with you and orders the pizza they're probably not gonna like it it's terrible. Our little guy doesn't like Mexican but we saw they have pizza for kids so that's why we came here and it was a bust for him.

My husband and I pass this restaurant quite often and always see a lot of cars in the parking lot…read moreso we decided to take it upon ourselves to take a little road trip about 30 minutes out to see if this restaurant stood Above the Rest. We decided to dine in this past Friday... there was no wait to be seated. The Ambiance of the restaurant is pretty standard we were able to move around freely so it's not crowded inside. The service was fast as expected when we visit Mexican restaurants. We received the complimentary basket of chips with salsa I must say the salsa was pretty spicy and I like spicy but this has been the spiciest sauce that I've had at restaurants. If you don't like spicy proceed with caution if you consume the red sauce. The service was on point basically once we ordered we received our food within minutes. The restaurant was fairly busy even though there was some seats available people definitely were dining in ordering to go orders as well. I don't recall our waiter's name but he was on point he got our orders correct my husband and I we ordered the tacos ground beef as well as the chicken and just my opinion I don't like the chicken which is the shredded chicken that they offer I need to remember to ask for the grilled chicken instead. The margarita was mid. Nevertheless I did consume all three tacos definitely fulfilling. I can't say that they are better than the next Mexican restaurant but definitely solid here. Have fun and enjoy life.:)

Classic Mexican dishes with a little bit of American flair to the country folks there, but I mean, the portions are large, the food is great , and the drinks are flowing. Not going to lie, it feels like a standard Mexican place, but this was just fast and great.

I was on a short trip to Williamsburg and ate here lunch and dinner both in the same day, ordered the exact same thing: Pollo Cameron and a mango margherita. They were both so gooooood. Maybe one day I might actually move to this town so I can enjoy their delicious food whenever I feel like. 5 freaking stars.

So, let's find out how the visit went. There weren't a lot of people inside and there was only one waitress attending to tables. They have a bar area, tables and booths. We decided to eat near the entrance to their supermarket. It took a while for us to roam through the menu, but decided on what we wanted a few minutes after getting seates. I chose a 1/2 chicken with two sides (fried yucca and french fries). The Peruvian chicken was pretty good and flavorful. Both the fried yucca and fries could've been seasoned more, but were plentiful. I actually saved half of my meal for takeout and tasted well for dinner. Unfortunately, the bad part of our visit was the decor. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has seen better days. Seats at the booth are torn up.....literally. The tables are outdated. The floor is in pretty bad shape, especially near the bar area. And in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser was not connected to the wall and instead, laying on the floor. It's not comfortable washing your hands and then turning it sideways where you can get paper. I really don't mean to sound mean,, but the decor alone would turn folks away. It needs a big renovation all around. Hopefully, down the road, they can upgrade or they may become a thing of the past :(
