I figured I would give this recommendation from my friend a chance, and I was happy I did! The only downfall is, they don't deliver to my actual house, as we live about 30 minutes from my friend. However, already thinking about the next time I can be up that way and order it! We ended up ordering a Chef's Salad, two large pizzas - Hawaiian & Pepperoni Pizza, and 24 wings. The wings were delicious - we opted for mild buffalo and extra spicy buffalo. Both were great. I do feel the wings could be a bit bigger, but they still seemed fresh and were delicious! I had a bite of the salad, also really good. On to the most important part - pizza! Both of these pizzas were amazing. I am usually more of a "New York" style pizza, and this is definitely not, but it was different, unique and delicious. The sauce to cheese ratio was great, and the dough cooked perfectly! I do feel the price point was a bit much - $80 bucks seems a bit steep for what we ordered (especially the wing price), but that being said, I feel that's normal these days! Located in the shopping center at Atlantic Avenue and Millbrook Road, parking is plentiful, making it an easy stop for either dine-in or takeout. On my latest visit, they were enjoying a World Cup match, and we spent a few minutes chatting about the Argentina-Egypt game. This was an extraordinary act of kindness that we will never forget. Kasen has recently been going through a difficult time at school, and I wanted to give him a wholesome, uplifting experience that would help him feel happy, confident and special again. When Kian learned what was happening, he genuinely cared. He went directly to the owner and helped arrange a special two-hour, hands-on pizza-making experience for Kasen and me. From the moment we arrived, Kasen was welcomed with patience, warmth and enthusiasm. He put on his apron and was guided through the entire process. He worked with the dough, spread the sauce, chose and added his toppings, learned how the wood-fired oven works, checked its temperature and even learned how to handle the long pizza peel. He was able to watch his creation go into the blazing oven and come out as a beautifully cooked pizza made with his own hands. The staff never rushed him or made him feel as though he was in the way. They spoke directly to him, encouraged him, answered his questions and allowed him to take pride in every step. Watching his concentration turn into excitement and then seeing his face as we sat down together to enjoy his pizza was priceless. That wonderful cheese pull was only the finishing touch! For those two hours, Kasen was not thinking about the difficulties he had been experiencing at school. He was smiling, learning, creating, laughing and simply enjoying being a child. This experience gave him something positive to focus on and a beautiful memory to carry with him. Kian, thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening, caring and taking the initiative to make this happen. Thank you to the owner for opening the door and allowing Kasen to have this opportunity. Thank you to every staff member who treated him with such patience and kindness. You did not simply teach a child how to make a pizza. You helped restore some of his joy and confidence during a time when he truly needed it. The pizza was absolutely delicious, but the compassion behind this experience is what will remain with us forever. This is the kind of business and the kind of people our community should support.
