I am also thinking we had a child above us as we heard running overhead for a few hours. But stopped about 10pm. They had a grab and go breakfast- coffee, tea, oj, muffins, yogurt, fruit and cereal. That was really nice. Pool was open but way too cold for our liking. Would I come back maybe? But maybe at one if the other hotels. Employees were courteous and helpful.

I initially wanted to rate this property "two stars" but maybe this property is 'da bomb' during…read moreski season. But during summer, it leaves much to be desired. First, I booked on-line. As of 06.28.20, COVID-19 restrictions were not posted on the property's website or in the email confirmation I received. Complimentary continental breakfasts were still listed but not offered. No mention of restricted housekeeping procedures was mentioned. Reservations are required to use the pool but the front desk fails to answer the phone despite multiple attempts. While these restrictions may seem apparent to management, not every guest is from New York, engaged in the hospitality industry, or facing the same restrictions elsewhere. The room we were assigned apparently had not been occupied in weeks, perhaps months. Dead leaves & cobwebs were around the entry door. The room had a musty smell upon entering. Cobwebs were in the corners at the ceiling. Patio furniture had not been cleaned. The indoor/outdoor pool had not been vacuumed for some . According to my wife, the decor is due for an update but I didn't mind it. The TV is small & there is no microwave, both contrary to today's amenities at most properties. The charging stations for mobile devices is in the base of the nightstand lamps but are of little use when plugged into an outlet controlled by the room's wall switch. Fortunately, my phone which I use for my wake-up alarm did not completely drain of power overnight. Positive points are 1st floor king rooms have a private exterior entry only feet from the parking lot. Rear French doors lead to a small patio adjacent to a large common green space which could be an advantage if you have rambunctious children or a pet accompanying you (provided you clean up after it). The location is adjacent to the slopes & a short drive from the center of town. To say it is within walking distance of downtown probably exceeds most people's expectations. In winter & desperate to ski with more convenient lodgings unavailable, this would not be a terrible choice. In summer, I would consider booking elsewhere. We ultimately decided to cancel the final day of our summer stay. __________________________ Fellow Yelpers! Our family has been coming here for a few years now, and we rent a 3 bedroom suite. There is a…read morerunning joke on what's going to be dirty in our room when we arrive. Last year, we had multiple fruit loops stuck to our shower curtain.. Like neon green cereal (I get things can be missed but this was so obvious) This year, someone's used contacts were in the same shower & also candy wrappers / garbage under the beds. The lights in the one bedroom just didn't work. It's humorous at this point. This place is such an ideal location, which is why we continue to come back, but the hotel is in serious need of renovations & a new cleaning crew.

They have an amazing pool area where you can purchase day passes for 20 bucks per adult and kids are even cheaper. They also have summer passes. I was told you have to book it the day before for weekend day passes but during the week you may be able to do it last minute. The servers from the restaraunt come right up to your lounge chairs if you want to order drinks/food. You are not allowed to bring in your own alcohol but we brought our own food and no one yelled at us. I will say it was difficult to find 5 lounge chairs together so maybe plan to get there early if you have a big group and it's the weekend.

Since there is no night skiing available the snow isn't super packed down. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Since this is a private club it definitely feels like it's own community and seems very family oriented. When I have gone there aren't wild and rowdy teens which is a plus. The good news is that on weekdays anyone can buy a pass to check out this awesome place. You can buy online to get a small discount. I have only gone during the week and there haven't been serious crowds or lines. I am not sure about the weekends but since it's members only I'm sure it's not nearly as busy as some of the other local public resorts. The lodges are cozy and accommodating. There is now a cafeteria here in the main lodge which has plenty to choose from. You are also free to bring your crockpots or picnic style lunches to enjoy. There are tons of indoor and outdoor seating options, many large grills for anyone to use and a cool fire pit to sit and relax. There are rentals, lessons and a specialty adaptive ski program available. During covid masks were worn inside and outside and this was enforced by staff. Hand sanitizing stations were set up all over. There was also a large, outdoor, well ventilated tent this year to provide extra seating during covid. Another fun perk that makes this place unique is there are many gorgeous homes on the hills and around the trails. It's fun to see them when you are on the lift and skiing down the hills.
