It's an okay car wash, but a few issues keep it from earning a higher rating, some of which are significant. On my third visit, I ended up with a completely punctured tire right after leaving the lot. I can't say for certain whether it was caused by the machinery or debris on the ground, but the timing was hard to ignore. It resulted in a tow and a replacement tire on a busy day. The staff didn't take responsibility, and it didn't feel worth the effort of pursuing further, but it's something to be aware of. On a separate visit, I experienced an unusual issue where what looked like small static discharges were forming along my sunroof during the wash (I have video of this). When I brought it up, the response from the front desk was minimal, they said they would "look at it," but didn't ask for details, review the video, or document the issue. There was no real follow-up or concern shown. I also had an issue with their membership tag not working. Instead of resolving it properly, I was given a loose tag from a sticker sheet to show at the gate. Since then, I've been questioned multiple times by staff asking where I got it and how I obtained it, as if it wasn't legitimately issued to me. This could have been avoided if the original issue was handled correctly. Overall, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. I haven't had a single interaction that felt helpful or even neutral, at times it comes across as dismissive. They also removed the kit that used to be included with the wax/polish tier, which reduces the value, especially considering the membership is around $50/month. I usually prefer resolving concerns directly with a business, but based on my experiences, I didn't feel that would be productive here. I've since canceled my membership and switched to another tunnel wash nearby, where the service, value, and overall experience have been significantly better. I really enjoy coming to this car wash and have been very happy with both the quality of the washes and the pricing. The staff is always friendly, and with the $20 wash they even provide a microfiber towel and an air freshener, which is a nice touch. For that reason, I like to get a hand wash occasionally to take care of those tougher spots, then use this car wash regularly in between to keep my vehicle looking clean. My favorite option is the $30 wash because, after the initial wash, your vehicle goes through an additional wax and polish tunnel that leaves it looking great. The vacuums work well, and they also provide air tools to help blow water out of hard-to-reach crevices. Overall, this is a great place to wash and maintain your vehicle. The Carwash itself is pretty decent. It's not hand wash but I think it's on par with any automated washes. There's even a couple extras, that I like. The service is complete Sh!+! Initially, I changed from one credit card to another one but they continued to charge both cards for 14 months. To be honest, I didn't even notice; when I went in there to cancel the service altogether and let them know I was charged for an additional month, That's when THEY found it by accident. I was shocked but not mad because mistakes happen; I didn't notice it either. I just said OK well, let's fix it. It took nearly 3 months to finally get a refund and it took me calling up there numerous times I stopping by like six or seven times and it was always a different story. We have to investigate some more.. a few weeks later, we're gonna issue a refund and have you come up and pick it up in person... a few weeks later, because it's so much, we decided we're gonna send it in the mail.... a month later, the manager no longer works up here, we have to investigate.... a month later, it's in the mail... a few weeks later, can you come up here and pick it up. Each time, they told me they would call be yet I never received 1 call! I had to leave work, go in person and keep inquiring about the refund. Initially, I was 100% understanding. But, with the shitty service from the managers, I was pissed. After three months of inquiring and going up there, I finally received the refund check - in person and I asked for a discount to continue my service there (I had the wash & wax subscription for several years at that point). The manager, "sure, let me get approval and I'll get back". Again, never once called me back. After calling and stopping up there several more times, the employees started giving me the managers schedule. I still kept missing him. I was told, he consistently shows up late and leaves early. An employee, after seeing me numerous times, called him up and he gave me 3 free washes. . From the moment They accidentally discovered the double charge (I truly believe had I not been there when they discovered it, they would have never refunded me or resolved the issue) until I received 3 free washes was 5 months! Over the years at the Upland location prices have increased and the quality of the service has decreased. Here are some examples of the decreased service: 1) They no longer spray the front and back window before entering the tunnel. 2) On an express or signature wash the blow dryer does not do a sufficient job. With the Premium Plus wash the "shammy dry" is better (not great) but costs more. When they first opened they did not have the "shammy dry" but the air dry did an OK job. Not any more. 3) In the self-serve vacuum area the equipment is not maintained/repaired adequately. I have had the vacuum nozzle fall off while using it. Also, the air spray nozzle usually has low air pressure and/or the hose has holes in it. I noticed the other day they have tried to cover the holes with masking tape. Any fool knows this does not work. 4) The payment kiosk's do not provide receipts. You are presented with a message on the screen to ask for a receipt from the attendant. When asking the attendant for a receipt they instruct you to go inside the office. What an inconvenience to the customer. Fix your receipt printer. 5) When mentioning these issues, over the years, the office staff kind of shrug their shoulders. No real customer service skills. When i asked for the manager or owner information they were hesitant to provide any information and in fact refused to provide the owner's info. I have used this car washed many times and it's a decent fast car wash. However, when employees are not trained to handle the unexpected it's really frustrating, Sitting there watching four cars Go ahead of me as I wait behind somebody that's waiting for a gift card. It would've been relatively easy for the gal that was helping that laying next to me letting everybody go through for her to walk over and explain to me, but she just stood there and looking at me and I had to holler at her and ask what's going on and then I had to back out and get in the other line. I went so far as to park and look for a manager and tell her what happened and she just said well that was my fault, I was in the restroom. Well, I'm sorry that's just not acceptable. The employees should've known what to do in that situation. It's probably not that manager's fault. It's probably her managers or the owner but something needs to happen there at that car wash. Been coming to PrimeWash Express since it opened years ago-- and it is the only drive through car wash I trust in the I.E., and I am happy it is on my way to work so I can pull up in a freshly washed car! Which is what I'm about to do lol customer service is amazing here - Derlin was very helpful helping me pay for a new wash when I incorrectly selected one. Rushed, mediocre wash. No attention to detail. I had seen reviews say good things bout this car wash so thought l'd give it a chance. Payed for the 30 dollar was, with hand drying, tire shine, wax and polish. But tires came out as dirty as when I went in, the hand drying was so rushed it still left water marks, and the wax and polish was rushed and just sealed all the dirt that didn't wash off or got scrubbed off. For 30 dollars I expected a little more attention to detail and at least scrubbing the car in the first tunnel to get all the dirt off, instead it gets left and sealed now making it harder to come off. For the prices they are charging, you are a hundred percent better off going anywhere else. Honestly can't expect much from the automated car washes, but when you have staff at hand and promoting all these extras, you're hopeful for more. read more

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I have brought my Mercedes here a total of 4 times as I signed up for the most expensive wash subscription. Each time I used this wash I saw more and more scratches. The first two times I wasn't too sure if they were previous or new so I wrote it off. But I had taken my car to the coin wash and spent time detailing it before returning a third time. On the third visit I found definite new marks after using the wash. I told myself I wouldn't use this wash again, but I was stuck in my subscription and today I gave in and said I'll go through again. This time knowing where every scratch/ missing paint and dent were. After using the wash today it really did a number on my car. I filed a complaint but was told they are not liable for any damages. Seems to be a popular place that a lot of people take their cars to get washed. I was in the area and was looking for a fast place to get my car washed. It seemed pretty self explanatory, and they would have someone help you on what you want, or you could just do everything yourself. They had basic "xpress" wash for $8, "signature" for $13, premium plus for $16 and a two tunnel for $25. I didn't want the basics and didn't need to have that much so I went with the Signature. After the wash there were stations where you can vacuum your car free for 10 min and it seems like you can also get some air (for your tires) Overall pretty solid experience, would recommend you to bring a micro cloth towel to wipe down the spots on the car that may still have wet spots, since the dryer doesn't completely dry your car fully. Not a problem as I usually want to check out the car and see if there are any spots that aren't so easy to get off from a drive through wash. read more
