It does the basic needs for a good deal. I still see tree sap on the car after two washes and the vacuum hose nozzle get most of the debris. Quality and $ value match. Staff super helpful and professional. read more

A bit pricey but the place is nice and clean and well maintained. The brushes don't beat your vehicle to death and rip trim off like the other one in Upland that I use on occasion. New car wash opened Friday in Upland off the 210/Campus. Did a fairly good job on my super dirty car. Probably would have been better if it wasn't so filthy. Staff was friendly. $18 for the top wash, $36 for unlimited monthly wash. Expect a wait. The lines were long today. read more

Ive been a customer since day 1 and their prices keeps going up.... before it was $10 plus then $12.99 and now it increased to $14.99 and the quality of the wash is not like the first time the regular wash - has not much soap to soak and its just like washing yiur car with water. the boys at the front spraying your car is like..... just spraying and not even do what they are supposed to do... I hope the quality of this car wash comes back dont increase the price if there's poor quality of your service read more

They really stepped up their management lately. The guys are really attentive and helpful. I had a coupon that expired the day before and they walked it thru the office to help me! The price beats every place around! They showed me where the stuff is to remove sap and shine my tires too. They all were really pleasant and that made my day! I even saw a manager give an ice pop on a hot day to a young boy who had helped his parents dry the car and vacuum. I've seen a number of kids come with parents, proud as peacocks to be doing car work to help! These kids really love the together time and being able to do something big! Kudos to Planet Car Wash! I am so glad this company has come to my area. Impressive car wash with super personalized services, I was shocked. From the first greeting kid giving me a free blue towel to dry the car after the wash to entering the car wash and having 2 attendees with water guns spray my car, then offering me a car freshener and a wet towel, all included. The vacuums were all working with a lot of power and they have a air hose to spray water from your mirrors, and a rug cleaning station! My car never looked so good it was impress and the car continued to look great the entire week. The area to dry the car is a little small but there is enough space in between the cars so you don't have to worry about your open door hitting the car next to you. They offer monthly membership and with all the extra bonus that come with the car wash it's definitely worth the price. Finally a new carwash in the area, close to where I live and very convenient. Super friendly staff and the equipment used were all high tech, a bit pricier than other carwash places but you are getting what you pay for. I loved the fact that they have multiple blowers at the end where they dry off the car really good, only used 1 towel to wipe of the remaining water and I drive a full sized truck! I usually go for the highest package when I wash my car and they were charging $18 and you get a microfiber towel and wet wipes with it, I think I'm going to get the monthly package which was around $30 something because I will definitely becoming more here. Only wished they had the air blowers by the vacuums, that would have been awesome! Overall I recommend this car wash if you are driving on the 210! read more

We tried out this carwash after hearing some buzz about it just opening. It's such a nice carwash to go to and looks very fancy. The wash itself does a pretty good job considering it's a drive-thru. Definitely beats out the competition. The wash wasn't able to get off the hard water spots from my sprinklers, and did miss a spot in the back of the car, but that's okay, it did a great job cleaning and the car is so shiny! I LOVE that they have a bunch of free-vacuum spots (shaded) to vacuum out your car. This place is great and makes me excited to get my car cleaned. I will definitely be back! read more

This is my second time posting this.This company lets people that are not handicapped parking in the handicap and they only have one I spoke up this morning to a woman that was there and then I go and Park far away and she comes up to me and tells me off why you have to tell me that I'm parking in the handicap when there's no spaces. There was space but it's all the way next to where you pay you think I'm going to keep standing there and arguing with her as she's probably filming me on tick tock I'm not going to put up with this anymore but you think if I call the police they would come don't think so this company has a responsibility when they train these young workers to go over there and at least call them out so that way they think twice next time they come they also need to add more Vacuums in the back. I don't see any respect for people that were disabled in the wars disabled out of disease accidents etc etc and it's high time they go over and call these people out instead of me getting told off in front of everybody when they're the ones breaking the law. read more

I like the fact they are employing younger employees that are being mentored and gaining experience. Are there occasional issues, sure, but when I've raised an issue, they address it head-on. Have four vehicles that I bring here, including newer cars (after they've been broken in). Like the fact that I can come in frequently (after the gardener, after a drizzle or after a couple-of-days on the road.) Monthly premium package paid for on the second visit. Vacuum, compressed air and towels. Just found out they will even provide you with glass cleaner and cleaning spray....just ask. And a bathroom...that's a rarity. read more

I have been waiting for one of these kinds of places to open up with a decent monthly price. I love having good vacuums available after a quick wash. I received a link to try out their $18 for free and initially, I liked the job it did while in the wash. When I went to vacuum and dry my car, I noticed their equipment must be a little too aggressive with cleaning. My hood air deflector was ripped off and shoved to the side of my hood, scratching and removing a chunk of paint from it (That was just painted 8 months ago). The worst part, despite it being strong enough to rip the deflector off, there were still bits of bird poop on my car in areas. I should have known better as I have been hand washing it since my repaint but it is what it is. I did not bring this to their attention because their equipment didn't break to cause this, so I don't know what they would have done to address the situation but they are free to reach out. If you have after market items, even OEM ones like my wind deflector, be wary. I'll be scheduling a repainting and buying another hood deflector turning the free wash into a $200+ wash. read more

After a year with the membership it's still a 4 star review even with the $5 price hike which is a little much. Great customer service. 1) please have whomever is spraying down your car when you enter spray both sides and not just the driver side. Can't have people pay for half done service while hiking up prices. 2) at least put in the effort when aligning the car wheels with the track. Some employees don't put in the effort at all. When Planet Car Wash opened I used a free wash barcode that I received during a "Coming Soon" promotion. The next time I went I purchased the $9.99 special for the first month and subscribed to the top, $35 plan. My car has never looked cleaner! Prior to Planet Carwash opening I occasionally went to the other quick wash in Upland by the high school. Over time I started noticing that my car wasn't as clean, the water wasn't blowing off as well at the end of the tunnel, the smell of weed was an every visit occurrence, and the workers were less friendly mostly standing around talking amongst themselves. On my last visit ever I stopped in the office and asked if they'd done something different (cut back on settings) because my car just wasn't clean and those yellow "bug dots" were still all over my car. The manager asked if I wanted to go through a rewash but I declined. He gave me a business card for a free return. At that point. I already knew I was switching to Planet. It's closer to home and it doesn't wreak of weed like the other one does. I gave the free wash card to one of my kids. Planet Car Wash hasn't disappointed! The staff is always friendly, the location is convenient, my car comes out clean and the complimentary micro fiber towel is a *bonus* that I used to pay extra for (by purchasing a more expensive wash) at the other place. Planet's vacuums and air hoses are very powerful! I use the air hose to blow off what little water remains after I leave the tunnel and do a quick wipe down as I move about my car. I'm usually in and out with a wash, dry and vacuum in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend Planet Car Wash. If you have more than one vehicle be sure to ask for the Family Plan discount. read more

I hope more Planet Car washes are installed in the area so there's a chain like Soapy Joe's does down in San Diego. I have a membership and frequent this car wash. The staff has always been friendly, all smiles and energy. I've even come right at open and they're on it. Way to go to this team! The vacuums run strong. The dryer gets a lot of the water, but they have air guns and drying rags that get all the details and dust out of small places. There's a platform to hang your mats to vacuum easier. Love this place, come once a week, car never looked so good. You can drive thru and drive off or you can park in to one of the many bays and air out all the water that hides in the cracks, vacuum the whole interior, front, back and trunk. floor mats. Bring a towel to dry off whatever you feel needs to be dried off. Membership gets you a small towel, a wet towel for the dash, console and door panels. A small freshener , different scents. You get to take in all the onions from In n Out next door and then you get to drive home or where ever you're going in a shiny car. read more

I used to go to another local self serve car wash and haven't been back since because of how quick it is at Planet and the reliability. Definitely recommend it to others. Planet Carwash has the most powerful vacuums and air compressor nozzles I've ever used, which gets the stuff out of the nooks and crannies in your vehicle. I've been to a few of these self-serve express car washes around the area and although Planet Carwash charges among the highest of monthly subscription fees among their competition, they give more than a few "quick quacks" about the amenities and cleanliness of the facility. For that alone, my vehicles get the cleanest as they can be, without spending even more for a full service car wash. read more

I have a monthly membership. Today I was inconvenienced by some idiot who paid for a wash in the non-members lane and then decided not to go through. She wanted a refund. Since when is that an option? All sales are final. Then she caused the gates to malfunction by backing out. All this time I'm waiting and trying to flag someone down. The attendant seemed more concerned about satisfying a nuisance that wasn't even a customer. Then the next car in the non-members line was allowed to complete their transaction and proceed before they finally got to me. I told the attendant this was unacceptable. I should have been allowed to take her place in the queue even though her wash was probably the cheapest one. She should have been chided for being a burden instead of kissing her ***. Big baller driving a Kia Soul. GTFOOH! The only reason I use this car wash is because it's next to a charging station. That 10 minutes I wasted could've been spent getting another 30 miles of range. If that changes, I'm done with this place. It's the second time this has happened and it fell on deaf ears last time. Since it's obviously a repeating pattern, it's time to address the issue here. Get your **** straight with your employees. If this happens every time, I'm now losing more money than I'm saving with the membership. The experience wasn't great I don't think there is enough water that is applied to the vehicle there was a person with a pressure washer gun spraying down only one side of the vehicle, the car still had several dirt spots stuck to the vehicle and there was very little gloss or shine to the vehicle or tires read more

I was excited about the idea of a subscription-based car wash so I could get my car washed as much or as little as needed without worrying about cost. Unfortunately it turned out not to be worth it for me. The price was good, but the spot-free rinse didn't work. My car was always left with hundreds of little spots all over that were already dry by the time I pulled into the vacuum area. The wash also almost always leave a greasy film on the bottom of my car. It wipes off easily, but that shouldn't happen. The staffing is hit or miss. Sometimes there's enough staff to spray both sides of your car before you enter the "tunnel," and sometimes there's just one employee so they only spray one side. Beware of the signup. If your phone number changes you will be permanently locked out of your account because their authentication system requires an SMS code every time to log in. The staff can change your phone number, but it appears the web site hard codes your subscription plan to the phone number you use to sign up. When your number changes you will be able to log in but you won't be able to see your subscriptions or your cars. That means you have no way of adding or removing cars, changing your subscription level, or canceling your subscription. The vacuum area is top-notch, and I love that part. I think the concept is good, but there needs to be some process improvements before I'd recommend it. read more

Planet Carwash damaged my car and will not take responsibility for it. Been here 3 times and the 3rd time i was here, i found deep chips in the hood (3 to be exact). The first layer of the paint completely came off. Heres the thing. How can it be a coincidence that the damage was in the same area, same size, same shape, and same depth. I am aware that I am not the only dissatisfied customer that got their car damaged by Planet Carwash. The day of the incident, I talked to Vincent who was at least helpful and understanding of the situation. He took down my info for an incident report and told me that the general manager Joesph would give me a call back the next day, and if not, to call him around 4pm if he didnt call me back. Waited until the next day and got no call so I called him and he did not answer and left him a voicemail. So the next day, I decide to call the Planet Carwash # on their website. To my surprise, Joseph answered. He told me that their management takes 48-72 hours to determine how to deal with the situation. Thats fine but you couldn't give me a call back telling me the current status of the situation?? Anyways, Joseph calls me the next day to tell me that is it NOT their fault that THEIR machines DAMAGED my car. He gave me some bs about how their machine bristles are made out of some foam thing? So what? How is it that other people are writing reviews about you guys damaging their cars, in the same area, consistently? Its absolutely absurd that you go off of security footage. OF COURSE UR NOT GONNA SEE THE MACHINES DAMAGING MY CAR UNLESS YOU ARE ONE OF THE BRISTLES CLEANING MY CAR. Not to mention that when I parked my car in self serve vacuum area, I found out that there was this disgusting grimy oily tire shine all over my right bumper. Furthermore, the machines were not very got at tackling the bird poop and there were water marks everywhere and dried up blue detergent on various areas of my car. I had to go home, wash the car myself, and spend 30 minutes to remove the nasty tire shine on my bumper and side skirts. So, to sum up everything, Planet Carwash will not admit fault and won't fix my car. Seems to be an ongoing trend within their business.
