This is a small mom and pop local Pizza joint in Wheatland that's been around since 2005. We heard some great things about it, so we wanted to go try it out. We went during their lunch special all you can eat pizza salad, and drinks for $15 (it's on Monday-Friday). Service was very good at this place, as soon as we walk up the counter, they ask us what we wanted. Told them to all you can eat buffet for 2. We got our plate salad bowl and drink glass. They salad bar was reasonable with mostly choices of toppings for the salad. Spinach was a touch bitter and it had some brown pieces on the chopped leaf lettuce. Mushrooms was the only thing that was probably missing from the salad variety for us. They had three different kinds of pizzas for the buffet: pepperoni, Hawaiian and pitchers windup (which was pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, black olives, red onions & green bell peppers) And the fourth was garlic cheesy breadsticks . They were almost out when we got there, but it was quickly replenish with fresh Pizza's all around and while we were there for 45 minutes they had done that twice. Plenty of options on drinks lots of sodas, iced teas & lemonades They did have draft beer on tap, $3 during happy hour 3-5pm . Overall, the restaurant food service was good. The only negative parts on this restaurant were the cleanliness of the bathroom but tables were clean quickly. They have so many more options there to try like wings, boneless wings, fries, hockey stix and dessert too. We have to come back and try some of the other items here as well. read more

Delicious!!! I genuinely enjoyed the pizza from prime time, packed with flavor, cheese, and toppings, the chicken wings are more like bites but they were so good my kids wanted more for sure double up on the order. The place is clean and family friendly, the staff was quick to acknowledge and answer our questions. Will definitely be back. read more

We love coming out to Primetime from Yuba City it is definitely worth the drive for some yummy pizza! Our favorite is the Putter's special and the hockey sticks. The lunch special during the week is great too. read more

Small 10" pepperoni pizza cost $14! That seems pretty high but I guess they can do that since they are the only pizza place in town. The pizza was okay not amazing but better than a frozen pizza. We probably won't be back. read more

It's okay, I love pizza but the crust was not fully cooked. The mozzarella sticks tasted like something you buy at Safeway.

We were in the area and kids were hungry and decided to get some pizza. So glad that we did. The food was amazing. Had some Buffalo chicken bread sticks which were to die for. Best breadsticks I have ever tasted. I don't know why they don't Buffalo chicken breadsticks everywhere. It looks like they were doing some remodeling Inside. I came in today for some frozen yogurt. After filling my cup with the yogurt, I went to the toppings area to find it completely disgusting. Some of the toppings didn't even have a cover, for example the cookie dough. So, how long had it been uncovered? Every single topping was a mess. Some of the lids were broken, some didn't have a spoon and there were crumbs and debris all over. It was a though no one wiped the area the entire day. Nothing had been replenished either. Prime time is one of our favorite pizza places! The pepperoni is a little too greasy for our taste but the sausage more than makes up for it. My favorite part is the homemade ranch they sell by the bottle, I always order extra to have in the fridge. The mozzarella sticks and helmets are also worth a try! read more

This was our first time back to Primetime since 2019 and we were impressed with the changes, the customer service and food! They have a frozen yogurt station and it's outstanding! Perhaps my experience was an isolated incident! I'm hoping so! We ordered a large combo pizza to be delivered. The delivery is $9.00 plus tip. We got our pizza pretty fast and though the box containing our pizza felt super light my son took it from the driver. We opened up the box and it sure wasn't a large pizza by any means! Plus, little meat on it but instead it appeared that whoever made it just took a handful of black olives and threw them on top. I mean a huge handful! I love black olives but this was far too much. That was what made up our pizza! A little sauce and black olives! I contacted the manager at Primetime to let her know we received a small pizza when we paid for a large. I explained to her how the pizza looked and tasted. She promised to refund my money though I never received any type of refund from them! The pizza selection isn't great in my area so I had high hopes for Primetime! Too bad they made us a pizza we tossed out! I doubt I'll go again. read more

This place has a clean full fresh salad bar, Happy to serve, and they had phenomenal food!!! Very impressed, will be going back for more pizza and the fantastic salad bar, garlic knots were the bomb! Plus they had, I believe, 8 different kinds of soft serve ice cream. We got 3 pizzas, l large one split with different toppings, and 2 small pizzas. They were accommodating with our different kinds of additions AND they got it all correct! We held the cheese on the garlic knots (allergy to dairy) and even the 13 yr old picky young man (what do they taste like ?) said WOW, these are the best I've ever had! Well, we all agreed, they were cooked just right and were well seasoned! So good...if I could give them a 10, I'd give them a 12!!! read more

I am ashamed not to have yelped sooner about this pizza paradise. This is my sixth time try them and it's always really good. Lots of these people writing ridiculous low ratings for this joint are not being honest. I bet the same people think Mountain Mikes makes a good pie. Tell me of a place that has fresher ingredients or better cheese. Also, their crust is borderline perfection. Ordered a medium chicken and pineapple, did NOT disappoint! Loved the texture and flavor of the crust, red sauce is tangy and sweet, lots of toppings. It was devoured before I could even get a picture! PLUS- Primetime delivers to Plumas Lake which is a difficult location to get outside food from! They even did it in a timely manner. Who owns this place? I stopped for take out and was overcharged. The menu said small pizza was $14, small salad $6 & medium soda $2. I was charged $29. When I questioned the total she told me how much each item was. I showed her the menu and said I was charged wrong. I was then told the prices went up and they haven't changed the menu yet! Whoever owns this place needs to update their menu or start charging the prices on the menu. Just a couple young girls working there and had no idea how to deal with this situation. Needless to say I will not be going back. I don't mind paying for good food but I do mind being overcharged for no reason! read more

It's been a few days but I wanted to make sure I took the time to give a huge shoutout to a new guy that's near and dear to mine and my moms heart. Sam @ Prime Time pizza in Wheatland. On Sunday afternoon I picked my mom up from the hospital after having a minor stroke on Friday. She was in such good spirits and just wants some good food, so pizza on the way home was what we picked. She called and started talking to Sam about "what other kind of goodies he had besides pizza" ‍ the kids and I were laughing hysterically in the car as she's going on and on over the phone with him and we could hear him just laughing away at her. When we got there I went int I pay and he said is this "mama" lol I said no she's in the car, he smiled and sent big waves to her, but when he brought the pizza to the car he was so sweet and had her grinning from ear to ear! She yelled as we pulled away "I love you!" the next day was a big day for mom and all she wanted was to stop and say thank you to Sam for brightening her spirits and making her smile, so we did. I came to this restaurant with a large group (15 total) and we ordered several combinations of pizzas and sides. The staff was awesome and handled our group masterfully! The orders were taken and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza was excellent! The toppings were plentiful and tasty! The beer selection was good. The pitchers were affordable.a great value! This pizza parlor is exactly what I look for in a pizza parlor. Great food and drink at an affordable price. Love this pizza place. We can't get enough of there hockey sticks ( cheese pizza with white sauce). There special pizzas are delicious too. My favorite is the putter special but we love white sauce pizza in my house. If you like red sauce they still have plenty of good options. I don't think you can go wrong with prime time pizza. read more

The pizza is OK, but the prices are quite high. I may order again, but this will not be a regular habit; it's just too expensive. I don't expect them to compete with the chains, but they need to bring the price down a bit. But: it's the only game in town. Either pay through the nose here or buy a frozen pizza at Big Al's. I always get primetime delivered to my house. Honestly pretty expensive with tip and delivery fees but the food is great!! My favorite thing to get there is the hockey sticks, best bread sticks i've ever had. If you aren't looking to pay 40$ for medium pizza and small bread sticks i don't think this is the place for you. I definitely recommend to try it though. read more
