The results were gorgeous and they took care to make sure the area (already spongy) would drain properly. Additionally, Scott's had helped us locate and purchase the trees we needed during challenging COVID times when trees were often hard to find. They provided excellent customer service from the time they scoped out the work through planting, and follow-up care. In addition to our tree project, Scott's did extensive weeding and clean-up in areas that had been neglected for 2 years. Their gardener is knowledgeable about planting and about plants themselves and easy to communicate with. He gave great advice--and worked like an expert "partner" with my elderly Mom who knows a bit about gardening but can no longer get out to do it. The landscapers doing the excavation and tree and shrubs planting and general heavy lifting were smart, knowledgeable, able, strong, adept, resourceful, careful, flexible, courteous and respectful. They were skillful with their equipment and went above and beyond after I'd mentioned my Dad who recently passed loved rocks and if they could add some of them on top of the soil to plant around we'd be grateful--I don't know how he did it but he used his rugged backhoe(?) to delicately pick up rock by rock from the massive piled of dirt and then--by hand--made nice rock arrangements. We are having them back to spruce up the yard and to create a strategy for my Mom's perennial garden in the areas where the trees are planted, and beyond. Jason and Brodie were very nice initially but when they asked for additional funds prior to completing their work, I refused. The agreement was half up front and balance due upon completion. At that time, it was the scheduled completion date and they were far from done. Then things took a dramatic turn, rudeness and negativity became their attitudes and their work from that point became very poor. I've been encouraged to seek retribution through the courts but I am not that person...I've asked through messaging to have my porch project photos be removed from their social media but they're still posted...sadly what seemed like it would be a great experience, turned out it was not.

(THIS INFORMATION HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED) 7:00 PM Good evening. I need the info and the review taken care of so I can send this along this evening and get you taken care of please." I took the review down to get my report, and after I updated the owner, they said I'd have the report in an hour or so. Didn't receive the report for another six hours though they claimed they sent it hours earlier. Maybe this business has been great before, and will be great again, but because I specifically chose this company based on their reviews, I had to provide an account of my experience.

I had them out around 5 or so years ago to seal the crown of my chimney. Not knowing anything about it at the time of course, and based on their reviews, I fully trusted them as to what material should be applied for that purpose. Mason applied several tubes of Alex Plus caulk to the chimney crown. I was a little surprised they would use caulk, but then they were the "experts" right? They said this stuff will last 40 years, no problem! Your chimney is now fully sealed and protected! A few days ago I went up to inspect the chimney crown. Not an ounce of that caulk remains. Nada. Nothing. It's all gone. We're right back down to naked concrete again. And who knows how long it's been like that. So I called the Alex Plus manufacturer, and they said you should NEVER use Alex Plus for that purpose! Spoke to a chimney sweep, who said you should only use elastomeric sealants specifically made for chimney crowns. He was surprised any 'professional' would do something like that. Obviously, they didn't know what they were doing. Or what kind of sealant really should have been used. But they were nice. So $300 down the drain. Don't make the same mistake I made. Find somebody else.
