The next day while cleaning up before leaving he used his "shop" vacuum to clean up my tile. After would he stated "see you need a central vacuum. ". I then noticed dozens of scratches from his metal bottom shop vacuum. It was the end of the day and he had to leave for appointment. I figured we would speak eh next day but nope he mentioned nothing. I texted Sunday that we need to talk Monday about the damages and credit. I told him I would eat the cost of the tile but like a credit for the labor. Monday came and I had an appointment so I left the key. When I got home Ray took his tools, leaving me a bill for $2500 minus $500 for damaged tile. that barley covers the cost of tiling and he spent 5 days installing at $1700.
