The person answered my call was nice. After he put me on hold a couple of times, he found out that my sample was never submitted. The reason was when the lab technician came to pick up samples, the person that worked in the doctor's office never printed the doctor's order for my sample. As a result, they never submitted my sample. I don't understand why 1st, the person that was responsible for printing the order didn't do it; 2nd, why the technician didn't alert the office there? 3rd, why nobody from the doctor's office called me and asked me to go back and give sample again? It's frustrating and makes me wonder what kind of other mistakes they can make? Mixing up patient's samples or orders? As of now, I am waiting for their office manager to call me back.

I was feeling too sick to try to sit in an ER and the house call from him saved the day and the entire trip. He took a careful medical history, and spent the time to listen as well as inform us of the diagnosis and the options. He prescribed the ear drops and medication that ensured I felt better within a few hours so that I was able to be present for our daughter and heal. He also helped us come up with the right decision not to fly until a few days later than planned to help heal the ear and bronchitis. I wish there was a doctor like him in the Bay Area!

When I went to schedule the appointment I was informed they only have nurse visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays (ok fine). I made the appointment and had to wait 30 minutes for the 5 minute appointment (after reminding them I was still there). I then came back to have my TB test read (which takes less than 5 minutes) and have been waiting for over 30 minutes, almost 40 minutes now. Sadly I will be looking for a new primary care practice as they are unable to complete routine appointments in a timely manner.

She literally just never got back to me. The practice puts pressure to schedule a full, one-hour follow up (for $300) just to have simple questions answered about medicine they've prescribed - even though I had already paid for a follow-up just to receive the results of lab testing. I am not sure what is going on with this practice lately, but as a patient who has seen this doctor for years, feeling like you can't have some simple follow-up as a course of care is concerning - and feels unethical. The emphasis here is now on maximizing revenue and not patient care. I'll be looking for a new practice.

Up front, I will say that the dental hygienist, Lori does a great job. I would say that the two dentists are also good and caring. So why the terrible rating? First, expect to wait forever for your visit. They are never on time. I have had to wait upwards of an hour. The best option is to get in there for the first appointment and hope they show up on time. Second, you have to pay attention to the billing. They make mistakes all the time. I have had to call in and get corrections on several occasions. Third and final, they cancel appointments all the time. I have no clue what is going on with the office and the dentist but the constant rescheduling is terrible. I am currently is search of another dentist office as I can no longer deal with the mess. Which is sad, because as I said the doctors and hygienist are good people. But the office is clearly not well run.

Which is of course not covered by insurance. MDVIP is the McDonalds of doctors except with a $1,500 annual fee for the privileged of being able to buy a Big Mac.

I believe her name is Kim. She has a great sense of humor, but takes her job seriously. The woman who works at the front desk is fairly incompetent. She has billed me incorrectly at times. For the most part, Dr. Lanter is kind, but I have felt rushed and judged by her at times. I'm thankful to be switching doctors.
