    Continuation: The…read moreshort Filipino security guard ordered me with a loud voice that I need to leave the premises now without even greeting, investigating or asking questions. He said they do not allow people to do something to their car like wiping or cleaning. Then they falsely accused me of being in the DC garage before. I responded that this was my first time. I was in the Genesis garage a month ago. I was just waiting for my family and wiping my car. I'm quiet here and there were no cars around me. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just waiting for my family. Then his partner escalated more by accusing me that I had a weapon the first time he met me. I asked him what kind of weapon? You did not call the police a few weeks ago the first time we met in the Genesis garage where you falsely accused me of possessing a weapon because you were not certain of what you saw. Why were you guys so aggressive and harassing me instead of being reasonable and showing customer service skill? You are not in a combat zone. Plus I'm on your side. I don't understand why you are escalating the situation. I'm just waiting for my family from the theater and wiping my car. Then while I was about to leave, the Filipino security guard called 911 police and reported me of possessing a gun which he or no one ever saw a weapon. They were really trying hard to escalate the situation against a calm US veteran, who dedicated his life in protecting our freedom and liberty and quietly parked in an open to.public garage. These two allied security guards won't even let me wait for my family and wipe my car peacefully. And even falsely accused me of a weapon and called the police. These allied security guards are tyrant and dangerous! They were trying to get people hurt, arrested or ruined a life ONLY because I was wiping my car while waiting for my family peacefully in an open to public garage. That's absurd! I calmly left the premises without any incident. Then about 10 Police officers came to my place because of an allied security guard's false claim and accusations. I educated the responding police officers how not to escalate and overact in a situation. They all left within 10 mins without any incident except for one aggressive knucklehead officer who doesn't understand trespassing. Those two allied guards were horrible and dangerous. They escalated the situation for no reason at all and falsely accused a US veteran who sacrificed so much for serving our country just because he's quietly wiping his car while waiting for his family from the theater in an open to public garage. THAT'S RIDICULOUS! I don't understand why would allied universal who has a great reputation hires these kinds of dangerous and overly aggressive guards. Those 2 guards are dangerous to the theaters customers. UNBELIEVABLE!

    Pacific Plaza is a great place to have an office. I've only dealt with their security, maintenance…read moreand cleaning team but they are all great. The security team is really friendly and I feel they actually care about their tenants. They also say hello to the regular employees and that shows that they pay attention to who is entering and exiting as well as their great customer service. I like that badges are needed to get to the companies. It really makes you feel safer. On the fun side, during Christmas they hire live music and have a beautiful tree in the lobby. As for the surrounding area, it is within walking distance to Bart, is next to Century 20 Movie Theater and is surrounded by many eateries such as Subway, Starbucks, Beach Burrito, 88 Rice Bowl, Kome Sushi Buffet, Tomo Sushi and Teriyaki and Cold Stone Creamery. They also have two very large parking garages. I also appreciate that they promote blood drives. It makes me feel like they have a connection to the community.

    We recently purchased a house and the seller used this office for escrow. We closed and recorded…read moreon the intended day, but there was a distinct lack of communication and repeat issues. Prior to closing we requested a copy of the draft deed, which contained both misspellings in our name and misstated how we intended to take title. We immediately sent Chicago Title our corrections that same day, Tuesday. The mobile notary arrived Friday morning and the documentation provided had the same uncorrected errors. Not a showstopper, but annoying. We did not get an estimated final settlement statement from Chicago Title until that same Friday morning, when we signed our documents. We then immediately called our banks to initiate the wires (about 8:45 am Pacific time). We acted as soon as we could based on when Chicago Title provided information, which seemed to be enough time for a Monday recording. However, we proceeded to receive several emails over the course of Friday afternoon informing us that they had not received our second (smaller) wire. We provided Chicago Title the information we had, and asked them to confirm when they received our second (and final wire), which they did not do. Nor did they tell us that our lender needed to provide additional interest over the weekend, or why. On Monday we were informed the funds were released and the documents sent for recording. We requested to be made aware of when the documents were recorded so we knew when we could get the keys. No response. Our agent had to text Chicago Title inquiring if the deed and deed of trust were recorded so we could take possession. After recording we requested a copy of our grant deed, deed of trust, and the actual final settlement. We initially only received our deed of trust. We had to follow up to get our grant deed and again to get our final settlement as buyers. They did, however, send us the sellers' final settlement for some unknown reason. The seller chose this escrow company and maybe they have had better experiences in the past. For us as the buyers, this office was a black hole of information. At no point did we know where we were in the process despite frequent requests for updates. The only time we got proactive communication was when the escrow office wanted updates on a wire. Once they presumably received the wire, Chicago Title went back to radio silent. Would not be our first choice in the future.

    Be super cautious -- my case is a basic re-fi gone wrong. Chicago Title did not keep their promises…read moreregarding my title and the county. Getting them to address their error has been painful and frustrating. There are other title companies out there.
