We've only had one deep cleaning so far but we're looking forward to regular monthly cleanings…read more Glenda is responsive over text and the cleaners were friendly, professional, and efficient. The most impressive thing of all is that they managed to clean our kitchen hood. We rent and when we moved in six years ago it was already dripping grease, it was so gunked up (like, it was literally coming out of the light and fan switches). We hired cleaners when we first moved in but they looked at the hood and said it couldn't be done, so ever since we never bothered to clean it or look into getting it cleaned. I didn't mention the hood to the Magic Hands cleaners and assumed they would also skip it like the previous cleaners, so my jaw hit the floor when they showed it to me after they had finished the house. All the grease was gone! We don't have grease dripping down onto the counters anymore! I'm so embarrassed we've been living like this for the last six years! So a huge thanks to Magic Hands for showing us we don't have to live in filth

Pros: great communication, good service reasonable price…read more I've had the chance to work with Glenda and her team for 3 appointments now. Each time, they have come on time and have done a great job cleaning my apartment. I found pricing to be straightforward and reasonable. They have also made sure to have at least two staff cleaning the apartment so that my 1100 sq apt is usually done in less than two hours. Would definitely recommend them as a good option for house cleaning in the Berkeley area.

Daiany is great! She's honestly short of a miracle worker! After a tenant left a newly remodeled…read moreunit in a pretty awful state, I was concerned it'd be impossible to get it back to the way it was. As someone who is fairly meticulous and a bit of a germaphobe, I chose Daiany because I thought her work on Yelp spoke for itself. She was my first pick, and I'm so glad she was able to help me. With pretty short notice, Daiany was able to provide a quote, answer my questions, and get me scheduled. She was super responsive and thorough when communicating before and after our time together. On the day of, she messaged me her ETA and arrived right on time. She and her team member helped return a unit that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year to a nearly new state. The floors were made spotless, cabinets were unstickified, blinds were cleaned, oil stains were removed from the kitchen, colorful mold was removed from the shower walls and floor, etc. I was genuinely amazed that they were able to clean the shower as well as they did! They far exceeded my expectations. There were a few small things missed toward the end of a fairly long cleaning session, and Daiany was more than happy to address any remaining issues, which was sincerely appreciated. I haven't had too many move-out cleanings performed, but Daiany has been the best, and I plan to use her for any cleanings I need moving forward. If you're looking for a responsive, pleasant, and super thorough cleaning business, I highly recommend Cleaning By Daiany.

I am so tired of these yelp scam illegitimate cleaning companies. 2nd time a cleaner in Novato did this to me and this time I had to ask them to leave. Having daughter's company wins! After reaching out to several services, Ana's was the one who got back to me. I had texted what I needed and when, and Debora replied to me their availability and what to expect. Basically, the cleaning crew would come and assess the job and provide an estimate. If the rate was acceptable they would begin cleaning immediately. Maria and Rosa worked for four hours, a total of 8 man hours. I am so grateful at how much they got done, it would have taken me more than two days to do what they did. Maria was the lead of this team. She speaks some Spanish but her first language is Brazilian Portuguese. We were able to communicate pretty well using Google Translate. I am working toward decluttering the rest of the house (a daunting task as dad is a bit of a hoarder) and will be reaching out to Ana's Cleaning Service again in the future. And maybe I can learn a little bit of their language, too!

Once I disclosed that another company had already cleaned the room, I was told they do not like taking jobs previously cleaned by other companies and that I should ask the original cleaners to come back instead. The response honestly felt dismissive, and almost as if they no longer wanted the job because I had not chosen their company first. What confused me most is that the room still clearly needed cleaning regardless. It also left me wondering whether they would have accepted the job normally if I had simply never mentioned that another cleaner had already been there. I understand businesses can choose what work they take on, but the interaction felt unprofessional and disappointing after already discussing pricing and the scope of the cleaning.
