I've lived at 632 Palmer Road for a few years now, and we've been through about four or five different property managers. It's been frustrating, to say the least. But in January 2024, Maria Munoz from Prime Locations took over, and things finally started to feel different . Maria is responsive, organized, and actually follows through on things. Since she came on, we finally finished a long-overdue façade project and a few other repairs that had been sitting for way too long. When our boiler completely broke down over a holiday weekend, Maria and the board had a mobile boiler in place within two days. That kind of quick action, especially during a holiday, really stood out. She also keeps us updated on upcoming work like the fire escapes and garage repairs, which has helped things feel more under control. Communication isn't perfect, but considering how many buildings Maria manages, she's doing a great job staying on top of everything. After dealing with so many managers who didn't follow through or disappeared when issues came up, it's a huge relief to have someone like Maria who actually cares. I live in the Garth Essex. Alexandra Valentino is rude, arrogant and promises that billing problems will be resolved and it takes months. PRIME forced our Maintenance Man, with more than 20 years experience, to take early retirement in March and our Super, with 15 years experience, to resign in July 2025. We are a five building complex and the Property Manager either fired our long term contractors or confronted them, so that they quit. Our complex now has a reputation of not complying with union rules, so PLI is unable to hire competent staff. Our BOD now refers all shareholder complaints to the Property Manager and there is no follow up by Mrs. Valentino or by the BOD. If I could give these people a negative 0, I would. Prime Locations Property Management is run by unprofessional people that are not service oriented. If they answer to emails, they answer late. They don't answer to phone calls, they might call you back 3 days later, and God forbid you appear in person in their office since they will not answer your questions and won't even let you wait to be seen by anyone without an appointment. If you are considering moving into a building in Yonkers run by Prime Locations, please consider other options. My personal experience is with the building 43 Bronx River Road which is run by an also completely unprofessional superintendent William (Bill) Viera. Every single resident that I have spoken to since moving into the building has told me that they have argued with the guy at least once. I live in a property managed by prime Locations in Yonkers NY, they are the most unresponsive property managers, you can not count on any repairs to be completed in a timely manner, you call leave messages, leave email and radio silence. Additionally, I witnessed senior citizens being intimated in the building, they have bulled seniors into giving their voting proxy before co-op board elections. 3/25/2021 Update: And, the continued gross negligence of Prime Locations (and their agent, Bob Lindenbaum) continues. For over a year, the building has had a lighting issue, where some lights in the hallway strobe intensely. The light on our floor near the elevator began to do so about 3 months ago. Mr. Lindenbaum has known for years that I have epilepsy (he was personally told), and that therefore the light was a notable danger to me as it could cause a seizure and fall to a hard floor (and potentially therefore very serious injury.). Those of us on our floor reported the strobing when it began. When nothing was done, I submitted a service request, reminding Prime and their agent of the health risk. A month later, I receive a non-response "be patient." It's only yesterday that Prime has taken any steps to mitigate the strobe - by spray painting the inside of the fixture's glass. This is gross negligence vis a vis a disability on Prime's part. As an addendum, it has now been years since Prime Locations was notified of an assault on the ground floor, which was not captured due to lack of security cameras. The problem has STILL not been addressed or rectified, thus knowingly leaving all residents at risk there. read more

I've lived in my complex since 2013 and we've gone through a few management company transitions-- this is by far the least responsive building management company we've had. My particular building manager dodges all forms of contact. I'm trying to complete a bathroom renovation and I had all required forms submitted by the tenth of this month. After several follow ups regarding approval, Robert Rinaldi finally emailed me back today to let me know he will not be responding to emails until next Monday. I rent from an owner in one of the building managed by Prime Locations. My upstairs neighbor plays music +/or television all night long. There is no carpeting in the apt above me which is a requirement according to the bylaws of the complex. So I can hear every note, syllable and noise from the TV &/or radio. It is loud enough that I run a fan as well as have an iPod playing music and I can still hear it clearly. I've tried to address this with the tenant personally but, they refuse to answer the door when i knock even though I know they are home because I hear them stomping around right before I go up. Both the owner of my apt and I have complained to the Super and the management company (Prime Locations) several times and NOTHING is done! The management company does not seem to care. They continue to ignore our complaints with no response or resolution. I am at my wits end and we are considering filing a lawsuit against Prime Locations for quality of living violations as well as calling the police to file noise complaints. read more

1853 Central Park Ave - I have been living at this location for more than a year and really enjoy living here. The management staff, porters and doormen are very helpful, courteous and friendly.
