These high reviews are no lie. My wife and I were strongly eyeing a 113-year old home that, on the surface, seemed to need only a modest renovation. I hired Prime Inspections (Frank Macak) to conduct the home inspection (using the City Package option on their website) and it was absolutely worth every dollar. We accompanied Frank during the nearly three hour inspection, and we were both stunned by the thoroughness and professionalism Frank displayed. Frank was on time, thorough in his inspection and delivered an extremely detailed report on a commercial space we were looking to purchase. It did not look like an easy task as the house is very large, with multiple floors, 2 levels of basement, an attic, attached building, plus outdoor space. I was worried buying a house far from home that I wouldn't be able to get a good inspection.......well.....let me say this, Frank was a Godsend. He is professional, precise, fair priced and writes a report with every aspect of the inspection covered. I don't know how he remembers it all. He essentially trained me on the heating system and counseled me on improvements that could be made. Her report assigns different levels of importance to any findings. We are buying a home in New Kingston and our lawyer set up an inspection with Frank of Prime Inspections. We met him to get a first hand idea of what would be found. He checked everything and used gauges whenever applicable (stove, electrical outlets, heating system and moisture meter for walls). He explained any issues to us in terms what was excellent to what needed expensive consideration. His inspection report was sent in an email in 2 days and included his photographs with drawn on highlights of the areas of concern.
