Despite my objections he painted far too late into the season and the cold temperatures didn't allow the paint to properly cure. After just 6 months both decks have completely flaked off and look terrible. I have now tried to contact Dave for 3 months, I have left him at least 20 voicemail messages and he won't return any of my calls. Clearly the Van Dusen "guarantee" isn't worth the paper it is printed on! Interesting update, it turns out that if you call Dave and request an estimate for a new job he calls right back. Sad but predictable. Avoid Van Dusen Painting at all costs............let my $6,000 wasted be a lesson for everyone!
