They we easy to work with, did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for exactly what they quoted. The fense has stood up very well over three years. The only detractor is their prices are on the high side - but you get what you pay for. We are currently considering getting another fence installed and I plan to contact these guys first.

Tired, Busy, and Now Gone: The KD Fence Experience…read more I want to be clear: I never actually got a fence. What I got was a masterclass in creative excuse-making. Appointment #1: No-show. The explanation? Their salesperson was tired. I'm not joking. Tired. I too am tired, Kevin, tired of waiting. Appointment #2 (rescheduled, confirmed, circled on my calendar): No-show again. This time: car brake issues and "bandwidth." I didn't know fence companies had bandwidth problems, but here we are. I called Kevin twice the day of the second no-show. Got the runaround both times. So I called their corporate office in Buffalo and spoke to someone named Jeff, who assured me he'd be reaching out to Kevin and the owner. I'm still waiting to hear what came of that conversation. I suspect I always will be. For context: I have a building permit in hand, materials staged, a dog who's been attacked five times by the neighbor's dog, and a project that has been ready to go for weeks. KD Fence had every opportunity to show up and do the work. They simply chose not to. If your schedule is flexible, your standards are low, and you enjoy being stood up twice -- KD Fence is the contractor for you.

After seeing the great reviews for this company, I reached out for an estimate. Jason responded within minutes on Yelp and came by shortly after. He gave us a very fair quote and took the time to walk us through exactly what went wrong with the original installation and how he would fix it. The quality of his work is truly that of a craftsman. Everything was repaired properly and looks great. We couldn't be happier with the results and are already looking forward to working with him again on our next project.

Contacting the company and setting up an appointment was extremely easy and quick. The guys who showed up were just great. They respect your property. They had to go to our back yard as our drive goes behind the garage and they closed the gate after completing that area. No streaks and no sealant on the grass. Very fair pricing.

When we did the consultation, there was an area that your team expressed concern may not adhere well and we expressed understanding in this. However, the issue was not that it did not work in that area. The issue was that it did not work in our turnaround, where there was no filler or area of epoxy. It is fine if you would like to decline business but we initially got no response and then we got the comment from your mother, which was rude. It is unnecessary instead of having an open line of communication with your customers to respond in that way. If you had reached out and said we feel as though doing your driveway again would not be satisfactory to you and then we would probably have a similar problem, we could've had a conversation. Including potentially still wanting to move forward, but not asking you to redo it if it doesn't adhere well in certain areas. We are reasonable and would have understood if you didn't want to do the driveway again the first time, if you had had that conversation with us- but that did not occur. We also will happily leave good reviews for people/companies who deserve them.

And each of our interactions with Bennett over maybe 3 weeks were exemplary. We had a few small exterior siding and repair jobs - nothing major, just at the point where it wasn't worth me buying a 20' ladder. Initial call: they noted that this was in their 'handyman' category, and it would be a couple of weeks before they had a slot. A rep called as promised, exceptionally courteous, and fixed an appointment time that met our schedule. Their repairman showed up promptly to the minute, cheerful and competent; made sure to get a list of each thing needed and went to work. When we walked through an hour later, every detail was perfect and some were well above the request - for instance a fascia piece between garage doors was not only back in place but silicone-caulked, looked better than new. Pricing was clear and upfront. Left us with a hugely positive impression - kudos, guys. They've been around for a long time, and I am astonished that I get to be their first review - if you have home repair/contracting jobs, give them a call.

We think highly of Bennett because of their exceptional work.
