I've gotten at least four unsolicited letters from them asking to join their "network". Their posted rates frankly suck. 65% of billed charges or 125% medicare fee schedule...whichever is lesser. I'm already in network with most major insurances and they pay much more than 125% medicare fee...so there's literally zero appeal. I fell for it. I am a provider in a single member LLC. I provide quality one to one care, and every case matters to keep my practice afloat. In trying to expand my client base, I signed their contracts. What happened next was unfathomable. I noticed significant reductions in reimbursements on patients that I was already treating, prior to joining this "network." So, in short, they gave me no referrals, and stole money from the cases I already had. I am trying to terminate the contract and am being told I'll have a 90 day wait. Prime Health Services is a racket that contracts with insurance companies to receive a portion of out of network benefits ultra lately reducing the payment to providers. Simply stated a practitioner bill insurance for claim and insurance pays $100. The prime health h services intercepts the payment and contacts the provider and simply asks the Pt action Re to sign some paperwork to get paid. Through deception the practitioner who signs the paper get maybe $65 or so, prime health gets some commission and insurance company a few dollars. Bottom feeders. Don't do it. I haven't researched anything positive about this company. We received generic paperwork claiming to have clients requesting my participation. This is a blatant falsehood as none of my 2000 patients use this company. The following is a direct quote from the second piece of correspondence that I just received this week: "Prime Health Services makes a commitment to our clients to approach each nominated provider in a reasonable time period to encourage their participation. At this point we have been attempting to reach you for many weeks without success. However, I will have to report back to our clients shortly regarding your willingness to participate, and regarding your willingness to treat their patients as a participating provider within the Prime Health Services Network. I want (underlined) to be able to respond favorably that we have been able to reach a relationship to make your services accessible." (This last sentence is in italics). "Cost containment services" = they try to trick providers into signing an agreement and then they skim money off the provider's reimbursement and it saves the insurance company a few bucks. So basically they are completely unnecessary middlemen. Somehow tricked me into thinking they had network. All their network does is cut your claims. Worse than that I cancelled and they gave me the wrong fax number. 4 months later they were still discounting claims. No many how many times I cancel they are still taking money from my claims. It has been over a year since my original cancellation. They just took a thousand dollars from a claim last week. Can't get it back... Stay far. They lie a lot. read more

I too got a 3/23/18 letter from them, which I'd been holding onto because it sounded like an additional source of pts/reimbursement to become a "participating provider" with them. But I also hadn't responded since what they said in it about my being "nominated" by their "clients", as well as "attempting to reach you for many weeks without success", and "materials we sent you" just didn't ring true, as well as their location in Brentwood, TN (a nice residential suburb of Nashville) whereas I'm in the Northeast... and my not having ever heard of one of my pts being covered by them, or not being able to see a patient because I didn't participate in that Plan. This company claim to send you patients where as you will NEVER get any referral from them not even one. The company is a 'price reduction' or 'medical cost containment' company NOT a Provider Network as they claim to be. The provider agreement paperwork that they fax you looks like a legitimate provider network to expand your exposure to new patients. But, it's nothing but a scam where they skim off 25% of your claim. Prime Health Services does not have a network of providers for patients with their healthcare coverage. The only thing they 'provide' is a discounted rate for the insurance companies so they can line their pockets with the providers hard-earned money. It's a scam, don't fall for it like I did.
