Two Men and a Truck Sheboygan County

Fantastic moving team but horrible customer service and dishonest practices. I ended up paying more…read morethan twice the estimate I was given because they sent a team from a different office than the one I called and charged me for the extra drive time for a very long trip. I was not informed of this ahead of time and my estimate is no longer available for viewing. When I called to discuss my concerns, the person I spoke to was defensive, unhelpful, and unapologetic. If you use this company, you will get professional and helpful movers but ask lots of questions, don't trust the estimate and save a copy of it, and don't expect any sort of integrity or professionalism.

I would definitely NOT recommend Two Men and a Truck for a move…read more Everything in the move started off well. Being careful to wrap and load my belongings into the truck. Because we had a lot of stuff, I knew there would be a second trip/leg involved. PROBLEM #1: To "save me money," the lead mover offered that he could return the truck after this first load and come back to help me move the rest. With his personal vehicle. I clearly said no, I preferred the insurance coverage and liability coverage the company provided, even if it cost more. Did my refusing him lead to all the rest of the problems? You be the judge. PROBLEM #2: Halfway through unloading the truck, the lead mover came to me and said he couldn't work with his partner anymore. He was cancelling the second leg and just planned to offload the truck as soon as possible. Obviously, this meant we had to move all that second trip/leg stuff. Ourselves. In mini-vans and sedans!!! PROBLEM #3: Discovered two missing items. One high value. Contacted the offices to request the truck be checked. Never returned, AND--more importantly--subsequent contact by me avoided. Case filed for theft with law enforcement. PROBLEM #4: File a complaint with local office. Forwarded to regional office to Tim, quality control manager. NO RESPONSE! Have called back multiple times and left messages asking for the status of the "investigation" into what happened...NOTHING!!! And then, as if having ALL this happen wasn't enough, learn that the two movers went out on moves together the rest of the week?!? Was this all just an act?!?!? Never, ever, EVER recommending or using their services again.

R & R Moving - The shed was ripped off the platform and the bottom of the shed was damaged as a result as well.

If you're planning any kind of move, I highly recommend R&R Moving. From my first phone call, I…read moreknew I had the right team for my unique situation being a single parent. Brad followed up right away, came out to provide an estimate, and quickly got me on the schedule. A few unexpected situations, on my behalf, came up along the way, and Brad and his team were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. They were flexible, attentive to my specific needs, and made everything feel manageable. The crew was helpful, communicated clearly and efficiently, and maintained a high level of professionalism from start to finish. Everything from the moving truck to the additional equipment was of high quality and well thought out. I felt completely confident trusting them with my belongings. I would absolutely without hesitation recommend R&R Moving. Thank you for the exceptional service Brad and Team!!!

They gave me an estimate of $750 for a room and there was no furniture being moved mainly boxes. I gave a deposit to secure my move date. My employer made a mistake on payroll shorting my paycheck by 18 hours. I was told the issue will be resolved on my next check. I realized I couldn't afford to pay $750 for movers plus the move in costs. I gave them two weeks notice prior to my move date that I wanted to cancel their services. R & R Moving told me they would issue a refund. Two months later they never issued the refund. I tried calling them and they blocked me. Imagine doing business with these people and they have all your merchandise and you get blocked. I can care less about the $100 deposit because obviously they needed it more than me. But to have the audacity to block me speaks volumes who these people are and what they are capable of. Consider yourself warned. Run!

There was clearly a big disparity in ability, motivation, and competence between the two. I was present for both the pack out and delivery, which was completed in one full day. They had to disassemble a treadmill, furniture, and two beds in the packout, and they hadn't a clue regarding the treadmill, which they ultimately damaged getting it out of the house. A new leather sofa was also damaged when they failed to cover it adequately and were unable to position it properly while going through the front entry. A wooden coat rack was torn off the wall during the couch dilemma. The helper, who appeared to be a recent or day of hire also dropped a tabletop on his foot, and it appeared that he would not be able to continue. After a 15-minute min. pause, however, he was back to work and never mentioned his injured foot again. The single bright spot in the experience was the insurance for the damage caused. A supervisor followed up, and after providing him with photos of the damage, a monetary settlement/allowance was agreed to and satisfactory. Would not be a repeat customer.

They then broke it during a mere 4 mile move, and would not replace it (a 2 x 2 foot piece of marble) because I did not purchase extra insurance. They agreed to pay $60, which, after numerous phone calls, they never paid. This company used to be good, and I've used them for a number of moves. They are now corrupt, unethical shysters who focus on the money-grab, and could care less about people.
