They offer compassionate, knowledgeable advice in an atmosphere where you feel more than a customer. You feel like a friend. Pricing is excellent on all their products and I have to mention that, even after all these years, they still have a wonderful candy section too!! Now, that's what I call the Best Drug Store!

They are always friendly and have recently helped with providing options/solutions for my mom's bubble packs during her stages of dementia. Their bubble packs are way easier to read than any I've seen and trust me I have checked out several pharmacies for my mother to make it easier for her. Can not give enough praise for them and the service they provide. Would DEFINITELY recommend this pharmac.

They're always helpful, always ask if I found everything and if not, someone will go get it! When i was paying for my groceries yesterday I was asked for my Save on Card but didn't have the keychain with the card on it. The ladies at the till said thats unfortunate, we think you could save a few $$. Before I knew it one of them was searching around the tills for another customers card I could use. Swiped that card and they saved me $15.00!!! just by going the extra mile. I've been loosey goosey about where I buy my groceries but time and time again I leave Save on and think...why don't I always shop here??? I actually LIKE grocery shopping there:) I'm making it my regular go to place from now on!

(My beloved Costco does not have that!) Compounds - if you have littles, you know how important this is! Bright cheery non-hospital feeling. And flu shots with a side of ice cream! Oh and they can even deliver your meds to you in a pinch! Two thumbs way up Midtown Apothecary!

I love this Sobeys! They make really great deserts, Nom-Nom!…read moreThis location is hardly ever super busy like other grocery stores can get. It's got 4 "self checkout" stands, for anyone who wants to come in and out fast. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and I've never had any issues with them. Last week I bought more groceries then I originally thought I would be getting. I had my arms full and one of their young male employees came up to me and asked if he could help me to my car. I rarely ask for help, but he saw I was struggling and took it upon himself to help. He wasn't a cashier, bagger or anything, he worked in the produce area. So he didn't have to help me out at all, but he did. Huge props to that man! I haven't noticed their prices are any different than in any other grocery stores. I've never had any problems with their food, and love the premade items! They're perfect for quickly grabbing a healthy lunch/dinner meal. I know one of my friends appreciates the large gluten-free selection. So before she comes over for a visit, I always go to Sobeys to grab some things she can eat.

The flowers here are decently priced. They aren't the best I've seen though in terms of price or quality (as far as the flowers themselves go). I also grabbed a card that was way over priced but I needed it asap. I would recommend the dollar store for cards normally. It matters what you put in them, not how much you spend on them. Overall, it's a decent Save-on. I prefer to grocery shop elsewhere but Save-on has been good to me in times of crisis and flowers!

I am a huge fan of their organic/natural foods section. I especially like the organic cheeses and yogurts, Ryza chocolate rice milk, and Amy's products. They also have a decent selection of gluten-free products, such as waffles and pasta. The prices are pretty expensive, but these items are cheaper than Safeway, and they do go on sale here every so often. The produce section here is good too. I really like Save-On's own organic produce, like salads and mushrooms. I find them really tasty and much better quality than other grocery stores' organic brands. I once got a bunch of leftover Christmas stuff here for free, because they were just trying to get rid of it, instead of marking it down and having no one buy it. The only thing that annoys me about this store are the security guards at the doors. Some of them stare and have given me suspicious looks.
