New windows are one of the largest upgrades to one's home. Pre Yelp I replaced my homes windows and after many estimates decided on Primax. I've been happy with the quality to this day. After recently remodeling my lower level with I previously considered a basement I now have a wonderful downstairs addition to my home and Last month I replaced my windows from Primax and pleased with the quality and installation as I was 15 years ago. During the entire process The owner George took plenty of time listening to find my wants and needs offering several options. With a 20% deposit I agreed to the order for custom measured windows. As promised Project manager Larry came to my home measured and showed me the process of installation, giving me the comfort I made the right decision. The day of installation the job took one day as promised. The trim inside ande out is very well done. I highly recommend Primax for replacement windows. It went great. In less than a full day they ripped out my old crappy builder's grade front door and replaced with a beautiful new door. It makes the house look really great from the street. Better than that, it made my wife happy. :) In addition to that, we had them replace dual french doors to the back deck with a great new sliding glass door. This has worked out great because we have 2 dogs, and now there is a big spacious door that they can go in and out. Also we can have the screen open during nice weather to get some air in the house. The crew was fast and efficient, and cleaned everything up perfectly when they left. I highly recommend using them if you need any doors or windows replaced. read more

Do not use this company. We bought a house and the out of state owner had these guys quote a needed door & window replacement per the home inspection. The company was contacted twice before closing that the pricing & products had not changed. The company stated the quote was still valid. Once we got possession we contacted the company, salesman came out to verify measurements and collect our deposit for the work to be done. Out of the blue 3 weeks later, I receive a check from the company with NO explanation. After several attempts we finally got the owner on the phone. He stated the price was not correct and he would NOT honor the quote. In hindsight it was probably a blessing, if that's how they treat a potential customer, how are you treated AFTER the sale ???? I strongly urge consumers to do your homework before using this company. Buyer beware !! read more

After some installation issues I am pleased with my windows. I will not give an over all rating of 5 star because the original installer took short cuts. Yesterday two service technicians arrived and made the repairs. Yesterday's experience was pleasant and completed professionally. I wish these two gentlemen would have been the original installers. The finished product looks good and there is no air coming through the windows. I believe the problem is the distance between Primax and the Evansville area 200 mile drive round trip. The original installer was not driving a Compozit vehicle so I will leave it at "That". read more

I would've given them 5 stars except I am still waiting for one of my windows that came without a screen to be replaced with a window with a screen. We had some issues scheduling installation. We had a scheduled date, I took off work to accommodate it and they called that morning to cancel and say they would install later in the week. I explained that no, they would have to schedule on a weekend. That took a while but to be honest the weather was horrible. Once they arrived they noticed that one of the windows should have had a screen but did not. They said someone would be out to fix that. 3 weeks later and the window is still without a screen. read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Have been trying to get a 50 yr warranty honored on 2 faulty windows for 5 months. Work days have been missed while waiting for them to show up and they never do. Excuse after excuse. Rude customer service. read more
