Most recently, Americas Window installed e-shield radiant heat deflector in my attic area. The upstairs in my home has always been 10 degrees or more warmer than the main level during the hot summer months in Louisville. I have to say that I was skeptical that the e-shield would have any significant effect but I wanted to try to correct the differential heat problem in my home. The e-shield has done an excellent job.....the temperature difference between upstairs and main level has consistently been +2 degrees during continuous 90+ degree days in Louisville!.....The differential temp is barely detectable! They do not stand behind the quality of their workmanship. I had them replace my roof due to it…read moreleaking (in the front of the house), the first time we had sustained heavy rain after the installation a huge leak stain appeared in the back of the home. I asked them to come out and inspect it and they refused bc I had a small remaining balance I was making payments towards. They are holding my warranty hostage and are threatening a lien when in my opinion, they owe me what I paid for first (a roof that doesn't leak). They conveniently forget telling me I could make payments and even tho they start out seeming very nice to work with, turn to taking a nasty tone quickly. I would not recommend working with them. I'm somewhat shocked at the high review scores they have other places and will be sure to share my experience there as well. I have also notified GAF of my experience and have requested their bond information more than once in case I have to pursue remedy that way.

BUYER BEWARE. DON'T FALL FOR HIS FAKE CHRISTIAN SPILL. POOR QUALITY. Tony K. did a couple of…read morehandyman jobs like replacing toilet ring, tightening front door closing, and hot water tank replacement. Every task had to be re-fixed by a professional. Please don't pay him before the job is done. We allowed him to talk us into allowing him to replace our vinyl siding at a home remodel that we're planning on moving into. He assured us that it would be him and a guy or two. Tony said he would be there everyday. He never would show up to the hpuse except to pay the two hispanic guys. The guys ended up using white caulk and taking the clear caulk, that we purchased for the project. It was brought Tony's attention and he lied and said in a couple of hours the white caulk will turn clear. It was taken from the job site. We actually purchased the multiple tubes of clear caulk, ourselves, along with all of the needed supplies. It looks awful. We'll end up having to rip up the caulk and replace it all with clear caulk. Tony begged and begged us to pay him half and total cost everyday even though we bought all the materials amd the job was not complete. We finally paid Tony after his pity speech. The siding job is still not finished. He still refuses to finish the siding, in writing. We're still debating what next steps we'll take. Please do not trust Tony Kaelin, Anthony Kaelin, Kaelin Property Solutions (card he gave us).
