Gorgeous and unique, a feast for the senses, a little shop with a big personality. I first noticed…read morethe window displays and wondered, what kind of place is this? An art gallery? A magic shop? A creative space? All of the above and also stationery, jewelry, accessories, art materials, books, and more. This shop is owned by two sisters and opened in November 2022. They host workshops in a small back room. There are so many lovely things to see. I can't wait to go back again. When I visited in October the windows were hung with marigold paper chains and mannequins dressed in vintage Halloween masks. It was an unexpected surprise on my day trip into town. I only came away with some hand dyed silk ribbons and washi tape, but so many fresh ideas as well.

Wow. What an ah-mazing shop! From the grand, creative, quirky entrance to the world of delights…read moreinside, your eyes won't be able to decide what to look at first and your hands will want to caress and touch everything! Handcrafted items from both local and international artisans, unusual handprinted papers and cards, antiques, one of a kind jewelry . . . jeez, pretty much one of a kind everything! And at every price point, so you're sure to find a treasure to take home with you. The delights continue into the cozy classroom in back, featuring a chalkboard with upcoming classes. And these are not just the usual classes ~ one that caught my eye was titled "Small Shrines", which sounded SO intriguing. I was able to speak a bit with one of the owners, Catherine, and she was just lovely, and so so knowledgeable about the artists they represent and the items they sell. If you're in Port Townsend, come visit this shop. If you're not in Port Townsend, make the trip! You're sure to find something to make you smile. So happy I found this shop on my day trip to Port. Can't wait to come back and see what's new/old (lol).

The name fits quite nicely as there is a fine spice and tea selection. We purchased some smoked paprika which we were excited to find and try. There's a good chance that I may be out of the loop but I don't believe in the town I live in we have a shop geared specifically for spices or tea. There are sections where there is a smaller section like the inventory here but not devoted to that at stores in Tacoma. So in that regard this was a nice stop to make and check out a type of store we don't normally get to browse through.

So it was time for our annual visit to The Spice and Tea Exchange in Port Townsend. This time my…read morewife knew what she was looking for and quickly found her favorite Garden Mirepoix Sea Salt that goes well in egg and other dishes. but I had no such preconceived notions. But it's a spice shop, right? I remembered that a good friend of mine had sent me a Goose Jerky Dry Rub recipe that called for Worcestershire Powder. I told him at the time I'd both never heard of it and never seen it. The store clerk showed it to me on the shelf. OK, I have Aji Amarillo Chile Paste for Peruvian dishes but some recipes call for the powder version. There it was on the shelf near the WP. We have mustard seeds in our pantry but here I found Black Mustard Seed powder, more pungent and flavorful than the yellow variety and it will work oh so well in both the Chinese wok stir-fry dishes and BBQ dry meat rubs I make. The store clerk was very friendly and helpful. When we told her where we lived (about an hour and a half away) she told us there was a store in a town near our house which makes it really convenient and far easier to plan a visit to. It's smaller than this store but it should have our favorite spices and teas. If not, there's always our annual pilgrimage to Port Townsend.

One thing he made sure over these years is that he can only take you as far as you allow. Meaning he does not overstep unless you want and ask for help. As he mentioned in the comment below, he's not there to fix you, he's only providing you with help so you can heal yourself. And I'm so glad he's that way. I'm glad he doesn't wanna fix you, but instead shows you how powerful you can be if you allow yourself to be. I'm glad he's not for everyone. Especially the one who chooses fear. Because then you know - it was you and you only who chose Love and allowed healing to happen.

He introduced himself in the beginning, why he chose this path to help people, also he was asking me different questions before he started to work with my energy. And I think it's important part of the process as I want to know a person who is going to heal me on spiritual, body and mind level. The only issue was a price. Yelp states that the price for session is 120$, I also checked website and there were no price information. So I was expecting the price I found on Yelp but 120$ was actually per hour(no time limit was mentioned). Our session was about 2,5 hours. I would recommend to update the price information to make it more clear and avoid confusing situations in the future.
