The room has AC and a ceiling fan (double bonus), ear plugs, fresh flowers, local coffee, and other amenities such as dishes, soap, makeup remover wipes, an iron and ironing board, cold water in the fridge. I have never stayed at a place that felt so homely. The bed was comfy and thank goodness there was no down comforter- I get so hot with those no matter the temp. They also own a restaurant and bar next door- such a convenience! My mom and I enjoyed some cold brew and beers outside while waiting for our check in time. Hands down, the best place I've stayed! The venture started on a cold and snowy day in Wichita, Kansas. I wanted to schedule a trip for myself and my three sons, so I began to look at traveling to Costa Rica. As I searched the Internet, I came across Daniel Ross' business-scheduling trips to Costa Rica. His internet sites are: Jacobeachvacations.com; gofishing.com and bachelorpartybaycr.com. We wanted a day of fishing and other activities such as surfing and touring on ATVs. After I told Dan what we wanted, he masterfully arranged the entire trip, including transportation from, and to, the airport. We elected to have to meals provided for us. Each meal was absolutely superb. All of Dan's group was so nice, polite, and helpful. Before I booked the trip with Daniel, I did a Google search of his name and the AI portion connected Daniel to the business that he actually runs plus a used car business that he has nothing to do with. Because of the AI report, I had serious concerns about dealing with him. After talking to Daniel, I discovered that there was no concern. I am thankful that I trusted my instincts, and not the AI portion of Google, because he gave us a trip of a lifetime. I have absolutely no concerns about dealing with Daniel's group or recommending that others use his services. I asked Dan for a refund of my $1000 deposit which I have failed to receive.  Dan continues to lie and gives stories about him being in and out of the hospital but he still continues to answer other people's calls and books trips. Dan then made excuses of him coaching pneumonia but continues to monitor his phone. If he can monitor his phone or answer the phone he can transfer the $1000 back to my zelle. DAN IS A LIER AND CHEATING CROOK!!!! There was a master with a small on suite bathroom and another small room with a bathroom and apartment size washer/dryer. There was a bonus bunk room that would fit 2 singles well, but to be comfortable in the kitchen/dining living room, four people is best. The kitchen was well maintained, adequate dishes, glasses, ect. The location of the unit on the edge of main street was perfect for what we wanted, to be walking distance from everything. The only thing I might think was disappointing if I were a "hot tubber" was the location of the hot tub from the unit. In other condos I've been in, there was a giant hot tub in each unit. I would have used the hot tub, if we'd not had to walk of the building, in to another. Otherwise I'm hoping we can score a unit again next summer.

Terrible customer service! Russell was my contact and we played phone tag. Claims he never received…read moremy email. Sure. Whatever. I asked for a rental history for a condo and I was provided a projection. Big difference. VRC charges 35% commissions which I think is exorbitant. We rented from them five years ago and the condo had several issues; burned out light bulbs, dead insects on window sills, beds were dusty, and the worst part was we had no water! Yes, you read that correctly. No water for almost three of our four day stay. Advice to management at VRC, step up your game! I could run that location better.

I just bought a house and signed up with VRC. We had to block out a lot of dates due to fire…read moremitigations so we didn't get dropped from our insurance. When we got our first payments for VRC and was shocked to see that we only got paid 90$ per night through VRC. This is a brand new renovation A-frame that sleeps 6 people, so we were shocked to see that is what we are getting paid. I reached out to Heather Dawson, who is in charge of this area and she said that due to our calendar being blocked out, which was lower in their rankings which is why the rates were so low. This doesn't have this in the contract anywhere and was completely unaware that VRC functions this way. So I reached out to Heather to see if we are allowed to possibly list it ourselves because we weren't expecting them to list it so low, plus then taking 35%. This was Heathers reply: I felt that the response was rude and very unprofessional. I was shocked that she replied "I don't think you want to honor your word" instead of just simply stating that it would be a breach of contract.. it could have been pretty simple. I then asked her for someone else's phone number in the company that I can speak to and her response was "I am the owner." The next day all of my existing reservations were no longer visible on the owner portal, and all of my reservations seemed to be canceled, just like that. With no one reaching out to me in the company about the matter, and didn't even have the opportunity to communicate to anyone else in the company about the matter, even after they said they would reach out. Beware of this company, I would look elsewhere for another management company.
