When I booked my vacation 6 months ago, I did a quick google search and found this bed and breakfast. I didn't think anything of it, and I wasn't expecting anything. I was simply looking for a place close by to Mesa Verde National Park. When we pulled up, I knew the experience was going to blow us away. A sign outside with our names welcomed us. We were greeted Bonnie, Sandie & Nancy. It is on a beautiful property with views of Mesa Verde along with the snow capped mountains out the other direction. It felt like coming home to see family. We were quickly greeted by their black cat Stewie as well. Later on we also got to meet the sweetheart Dutchess. We stayed in the Anasazi room. The room was quiet and we couldn't hear anything outside of the room. We had our own bathroom and all the bath supplies you'd need. The bed was super comfortable. We had a long drive and we had an amazing nights sleep only to wake up to the smells of breakfast cooking. We were greeted yet again in the morning and we all had an amazing breakfast together. The blueberry streusel coffee cake was hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. We got to sit and chat with these three amazing women running Starry Nights and got to know them a little better. Overall, I was completely blown away with Starry Nights. What I didn't think much of 6 months ago, my wife and I will never forget our stay here and the three beautiful souls that run it. If you are in the area, or just passing through, you absolutely MUST make this a stay on your trip. It's not one you will soon forget. read more
