All this without even trying to operate the current one or getting on a ladder to look at it. We sent the gentleman on down the road with good reason. The only positive comment I can make about Midwest Garage Door Company in Pawnee is that they came out the same day we called and gave us a free estimate. It was a bit odd that when my husband called originally it sounded like the call went to a call center overseas.

When two workers came for the furnace and found water, they cancelled themselves AND THE PLUMBER, refusing to help pump out the water unless I signed a contract for $7-14K in repairs right then. They wasted valuable time knowing that an upcoming severe freeze warning could cause further damage to my home. I immediately scheduled on line to have them come and pump out the water and there was same day availability. They cancelled my service call because I hadn't signed the contract, which they never even sent out. They were greedily trying to upsell me when I was under pressure and cost me valuable time. That's unethical and it made them lose my business.
