My 4 year old started here for preschool in 2023 and will be at KFCDC for Pre-K starting in August. Both of my kids have thrived here academically and socially. The teachers we've had have been above and beyond and have been with KFCDC for years. They post videos of the kids activities every day and provide excellent feedback during scheduled parent-teacher conferences. They promote kind and encouraging behavior amongst the class and reinforce this behavior. The Director is an outstanding and communicative leader and is quick to respond. The school has an excellent safety protocol and I have never been concerned or worried about my kids' safety. They do fun, creative activities with the kids each week. More importantly, both of my kids have always looked forward to school here and literally run through the door. When I pick them up each day they are happy.

My twins have been in this daycare for almost 2 months and since we are moving, we will have to change them to another daycare which makes us feel very sad. We had a horrible experience at another school in the area, so we visited some schools/daycare in the area and this was the one that we liked the most. This is not the cheapest nor the more expensive and everything is clean and new since they opened this location recently, so you won't see nasty carpets in their classrooms. My kids are in the 3-years old class and their teacher Miss Manjeline is very nice and sweet, also, the Director and her assistant are nice, too. Actually, all the staff who works there are nice people, they always receive me with a smile. One of my kids was fully potty trained when they started school but the other one was still having accidents, actually the bad experience we had at the other school was related to his toilet accidents, which also caused that he didn't want to use the potty outside our home, but here at Briarcliff Daycare he had just a couple of accidents and that's all, he gained confidence and also, he is now using the potty everywhere. I can't say he is 100% potty trained, but with their teacher's help and patience I can say now we are in the right track and I am very thankful for that. This daycare is also regulated by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, which is excellent and they are monitoring the schools frequently. This is a great pleace for our kids to learn and play while we are working and I fully recommend it.

I enrolled because I was in a bind and needed childcare quickly, but there were red flags from the beginning. When I first called, I was told they had a spot, only to be called back while I was on my way to tour and told they didn't. Two days later, I called again as a prospective parent and was told they did have a spot for a 9-month-old. That was my first red flag. The infant room was dull and lacked stimulation, toys were reportedly cleaned only once a week, infants received no snacks, and they had no outdoor time. Most concerning, my daughter was frequently picked up red-faced and exhausted from crying. One day, I found her sitting next to a teacher, bawling and reaching to be held, while the teacher sat there emotionless and did nothing to comfort her. As a mother, that was heartbreaking to witness. There were also cleanliness and illness concerns. One day the daycare smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, with a mop bucket directly outside the infant room. Another morning, 9 babies were crammed into the tiny room, many crying and screaming. I also saw visibly sick children with extremely runny noses. My daughter, who had never been sick before attending, became sick shortly afterward and passed it to me. The bottle situation was another major issue. They don't allow glass bottles, which I understand, but I offered multiple alternatives because I was uncomfortable with my baby's milk being heated in plastic. I provided silicone sleeves for her glass bottles and eventually purchased shatterproof glass bottles completely covered in silicone. Rather than working with me on a solution, I was told she could not return unless she had plastic bottles. They also did not consistently ensure she finished her milk or refrigerate leftover milk. Communication was difficult because her teacher did not speak English, making it challenging to communicate my daughter's routine, preferences, and needs. There is also a $300 deposit that is refundable only with two weeks' notice, in addition to a $150 registration fee. I ultimately lost my deposit because I couldn't bring myself to keep my daughter there another week. That cost was worth it for my daughter's well-being. What also stood out to me was how little concern they showed when I informed them I was unenrolling my daughter. The response was simply "OK!" There was no concern and no acknowledgment of my daughter's departure. Overall, my experience felt very transactional. I did not feel my daughter was receiving the warmth, empathy, attentiveness, and individualized care I expect from a daycare. I know everyone's experience is different, and based on the other reviews, I may be in the minority. But as a mom, you know your child, and you know when something doesn't feel right. This place simply wasn't a good fit for my daughter, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts and pulled her out.

However, despite my address being exactly the same in Procare as it was when my eldest daughter was previously enrolled, I never received registration paperwork from the school, despite my emailing and asking the new director, Danielle Nash, several times. When I went to the meet and greet about a week before school started, my daughter was not placed in a classroom. She did not have a seat, a backpack, or supplies ready. Not only this, but her name was spelled incorrectly, despite me spelling her name correctly on the pre- registration paperwork. It was at this point that I was already having a bad feeling about enrolling my daughter at Primrose. On the first day of school all of my daughter's things were tagged with the wrong name and she was called the wrong name all day despite her telling the teachers her correct name. The school is completely disorganized. When I reached out and emailed Miss Nash about my concerns, she did not reply. Not only did she not reply, but for the rest of the month my daughter was enrolled, she seemed to be giving me the cold shoulder. Everyone else at the front desk, Miss Odom, in particular, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The final straw for me was when my daughter fell at school. I understand accidents happen. However, I did not receive an incident report. I only received a brief message on Procare. The message did not stress how serious the injury was or how my daughter was feeling. Nobody cleaned or bandaged my daughter's wound. The level of thoughtfulness and care that used to be present at Primrose are no longer. I am not sure if it is the staff changes or management issue, but the school is extremely disorganized. I can no longer in good faith recommend the school.

My daughter is three and a half and had been there since she was about 6 weeks old. Unfortunately because of our jobs changing, we had to leave Added Love. The whole family was crushed that we had to make the change, but the commute was going to be a major problem. When our jobs were near Fayetteville, it was a no-brainer! All of the staff is wonderful and cares very much about all the kids and it shows! My kids have always felt loved there, have made so many friends, and so many great memories. Our son did Pre-K here, and when he entered Kindergarten, he was more prepared than most of the children in his class.

But the woman who said KINDERCARE has a curriculum needs to update her review. They use Mother Goose at Sterling and their app gets updated all day as well.
