No bike rack at Price Rite. New Market Basket store in back.

Great store for produce! Price Rite is owned by the same company that runs Shop Rite; these stores are their low-priced, limited-selection model. The grocery selection is indeed limited, and the prices in general are lower than Stop & Shop. However, where Price Rite excels is in produce; there's a good selection and their prices are consistently much lower! At first, I turned my nose up at the meat department; but then I noticed a few items that are quite good. There are vacuum sealed packages of free-range and other particular cuts of beef; roasts, London broil, skirt steaks, etc.; that are actually quite tasty and a very good value! Shop carefully in this department and you might be pleasantly surprised too. Yes, the cashier lines can be lengthy; it's one of the trade-offs for lower prices. Plan your shopping for less busy times of the day (and month!). The cashiers have always been very cheerful and efficient for me. Bring your own bags! Note: They've just built a huge new Market Basket store right behind the Price Rite. As of this writing it hasn't opened yet because of infighting within the owner family. It'll be interesting to see how little Price Rite survives after Market Basket opens!

Five bucks for all dat. Hell yez!

Five stars as a starting point. Its big & cheap. -1 star for feeling like little mexico, a whole doube-wide hispanic section, and no kosher section. I don't keep kosher, but would like to see a tiny kosher section, or perhaps a kosher item. -1 star for the parents who can't control their kids. You don't take your kids out to the market so they don't break your crap while you are gone, you hire a sitter, or perhaps don't have thirteen kids, or perhaps learn to parent better. I never ran amok in a supermarket, if i did I would be summarily scolded. Do kids get scolded anymore? Perhaps it is the Hispanic culture, wait that was bad, well if you are gonna do a drive by, tell me in advance so i can camp out in the basement. -1 star for not having any quality control. Freezer crap out on you, the ice cream cakes melt into a puddle. Pull em, don't refreeze them and sell them. Your one stupid employee, lost you a star, wait i think in all likelihood, they are all stupid.

    Disgusting

I understand that it's cheaper than market basket or stop and shop but the meat section was filthy!! I wouldn't buy it from there

It is almost HALF the price of Stop and Shop, Shaws, Hanneford's and way way less than Whole Foods and Trader Joes.

You have to look pretty hard for the organic and healthy choices but they have them all so spend a little bit of time plan appropriately so you have a lot of leisure time at the supermarket and you will find all the healthy choices that you need at reasonable prices. This market basket is one of the busiest around. There is always a line and at least 20 registers have people waiting to check out however, they have a nice little café area with coffees, teas, etc. they also have a great food prep area. They have two sushi chefs on at all times preparing any kind of rolls or sashimi that you're interested in. They also make fabulous large sub sandwiches, steak and cheese Italians they have different kinds of bread, Panini, etc. grilled cheese, soups, and then on top of that they have hot food. They have hotdogs specials, burger specials they have meatloaf chicken dinners ton of chicken wings all kinds of potato products you can go there and have a nice meal for five or $10 while you're shopping it's fabulous. This market basket is located at Northgate shopping center which has an extensive parking lot of corset primetime and holidays in front of Market Basket is jam packed so plan appropriately but definitely you will get a parking spot maybe not at the front door but no worries they have enough for everybody. The staff is always very polite and willing to help that is if they understand what you're asking as there are some that don't speak English but kudos to them. They're working hard and they always are polite and go get me someone that can actually answer my question rather than ignore me like at most stores, so I do appreciate that. All in all, this is the place to shop. Oh and bonus points for this location at the butcher shop they will grind up any cut if meats that they have available for you and they will also clean the fish. They will even steam your lobsters for you so you can bring them home hot and cooked. And lastly if you're going somewhere else you're paying more money and maybe not getting the service that you deserve so give the Revere Market Basket a try.

Their menu includes 40 different specialty sandwiches, overwhelming to even choose, but for my first trip to New Deal Fruit, I knew I had to go with the Top Shelf: 3 slices of every Italian meat in the deli case. Plus chopped tomatoes, pickles, and onions lathered with oil, vinegar, and seasonings. The size is pretty large and you can get at least two meals out of it. They slice all the meats fresh so expect a bit of a wait, especially around lunch time or the weekends when everyone is looking to get subs. With so many other subs on their menu to try, I'm looking forward to going back soon.

It's located on the side of a giant parking lot with plenty of space. The parking area was clean coming into the entrance. Everything is very well-lit from parking lot lights, to signs and entrance. There was a big Grand Reopening banner along the side of the exterior wall. The entrance was clear, with plenty of carts and accessible hand-sanitized tissues out of a pull-dispenser promoting clean safety precautions for Covid-19 which is appreciated. The service was fast, friendly and accurate from the greetings of employees filling shelves, collecting shopping-carts and ringing out in line. Everyone was masked and taking appropriate social distancing measures but remained friendly and calm. There were employees visible in most of the aisles and easy to understand signage made the shopping experience simple. All the aisles were very-well stocked with plenty of selections from fresh bakery items to snacks. The cashier on purchase greeted with a friendly opening and offered a bag even though there was only two items. Excellent service and productive crew! I went in there intentionally looking for a different holiday related snack for my tastebuds. Upon entering, right in the main aisle I found a big reflective blue bag of Utz White Cheddar Cheese Snowballs with holiday decals that grabbed my attention and hit an unknown craving spot of curiosity. From there, I went to one of the mini-refrigerators in front of a register and grabbed a 13.7 oz. Starbucks Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink, that was equally decked out for the holidays with interesting bottle packaging. The two just looked like a pair. The white cheddar cheese balls were tasty and really brought the cheese taste without over-doing it's welcome to your palette. The Starbucks Frappuccino added a refreshing cold holiday taste to the mix in between bites and sips. In total, it was just above $6. Good selection for a light holiday snack. I've come here many times over the years and will continue to as well as recommend to friends, family and others. It's a convenient and clean grocery store with wide selections and plenty of added features for customers including movies for rent, bakery, hot foods and prepped bundles. Great place to shop!
