After getting several quotes we decided to use Lauren and Blue Ocean State for my weekly pool…read moreservice. This weekly full service was supposed to include cleaning out leaves/debris, scrubbing the pool walls and floors, checking and balancing the chemicals and cleaning the filter. Although the leaves were removed, and chlorine tabs added nothing else was ever done. Instructions were never followed (like where to dump the leaves) and Lauren refused to use the fixed inline chlorinator, after we spoke about using it, choosing instead to put the chlorine tabs inside the pool pumps filter basket. (The inline was 2 feet to the left of the pump - he was sent pictures and location before the service.) Unfortunately after consulting with and observing Lauren on our cameras for months he never corrected any of his practices (and never actually did the full service that we were paying for - such as properly cleaning the pool and filter). We recommend finding an honest professional who will do the job they are hired for.

The guys are thorough and respectful when they come to do our weekly cleaning. One of the reasons we have stayed with them since they opened is that they are honest -- they don't look for problems. When there is an issue that needs to be taken care of, they give us a fair estimate and they do the repair.

He quickly discovered a couple major issues and returned the following week with his flippers and snorkel gear and jumped in. My pool is crystal clear in one day! Over the three years, and multiple service techs, responsiveness and consistency eroded to poor performance. Personnel turnover is an issue. Consumers should beware. Techs seem to last about 2-3 months, then a new person will show up - on any given day (I've had a tech - someone I'd never met before - show up on a Sunday when my regular service day was Friday). I had a leak in my pump return line and it took two weeks to get a response, then when communicated they would be there the next day, nobody showed up. I went from being a priority to being a nuisance - there are a lot more companies out there who want your business, similarly priced, and won't treat you like a nuisance. Go elsewhere.
