This farm is amazing. The BEST apple cider donuts I've ever had. We went on a Saturday and they had…read morejust opened the potato blasters. We've never done it before and it was a BLAST! $1 each try so we each did $5. They had a cute area with a little town made of wood and skeletons doing funny things that you could take pics with like a saloon, jail, checkers, and mortuary. We also took a picture of the iconic pumpkin wall that is all over IG. Then we got in line for the donuts. So hot, fresh and cinnamony and cakey! The line moves fast. We also wondered into the grocery area. Really picture perfect fruits and vegetables like if Whole Foods had a farm, this is what it would look like. It's beautiful. This is literally the best farm I've ever been to. I would definitely come back to this one if I'm ever in the area in October again.

We went to check out the pumpkin wall after seeing it on social media…read more The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but traffic flowed pretty smoothly and they had plenty of parking, so we didn't have to wait long to find a spot. The pumpkin wall was cool to see, but what pleasantly surprised me was discovering that this is also a great farm with lots of fresh products. The checkout lines were long, although I imagine they're probably much shorter once the pumpkin wall attraction is no longer there. I'd probably come back again next year, but I would definitely avoid going during peak weekend hours.

We went to pick blueberries this summer. The rows of bushes were extremely neat and well pruned,…read moreand bursting with berries.People were directed to different rows in an orderly fashion by the nice young staff so that we were never on top of one another. The berries were delicious and perfectly ripe. I kept mine in the fridge at home and they lasted a month for fruit cups and cottage cheese lunches. They tasted so much better than even the best supermarket berries. We bought corn at the farm stand that was very fresh and sweet. Visiting the newborn goats was charming. It was fun to watch the young visitors feed them. This is a great place for pick your own fruit and prices are reasonable as well.

Came here for PYO Blueberries. They had an FB sale for having a huge picking at a reduce rate…read morebecause of too many crops. I would steer clear on this places for blueberries. This is not my first time blueberry picking, so I know what to look for and how to pick berries. The area is fairly short - meaning the netting to keep the birds out is very low. If you're tall, you're going to be dragging the netting through your hair or killing your back from crouching. Bushes are not trimmed and maintained well. However, the height of the berries are perfect for children to be able to pick their own. After crouching for a while and leaving with 4 lbs of berries, we were happy with our haul. However, after coming home and washing them to prepare for storage and eating, the nightmare began. Nearly all the berries have small white bugs on them. No biggie, fairly easy to wash and scrub. However, when worms and grubs starting to come out of the berries, I knew that this was not a great picking place. Their blueberries looked great, but clearly they're dealing with bug issues that will kill their crops and customer base. Wasted money down the drain, but better than eating bug infested fruits. It's a bummer as I've picked fruits at their Tyngsboro location with no issues. But I'd steer clear on this location and drive further to go up to Tyngsboro.

Look, I love the whole "wholesome micro-farm" aesthetic, and I give massive props to Lauren for…read moreputting her heart, soul, and dirt-covered hands into the soil. But sweet baby kale, those pick-your-own rules were a wild ride. First off, charging $9 for a couple of carrots feels like a personally targeted attack--especially when she handed me dirty, broken carrot stubs and insisted they were "actually better for me." Look, I get the whole anti-food-waste movement, but I am a simple product of the modern supermarket. If a carrot looks like it lost a fight with a lawnmower, it's destined for the trash, not my dinner table. Add in $20 for 2.5 pounds of Asian pears--complete with free organic squirmy roommates--and the optimism is next-level. But the plot thickens! Apparently, for every item you pick yourself, you are legally obligated to go into the farm store and match it by buying more stuff. Here's the catch: the store prices are completely top secret until you hit the register. You just stand there in a tranquilized farm-daze until the cashier casually drops a $16 price tag for a dozen eggs and $12 a pound for chicken. Pretty sure those chickens were getting nightly massages and eating caviar. I walked out of there $90 lighter with a tiny bag of five items and a sudden desire to start my own backyard coop. I respect the hustle, Lauren, but my wallet and I are breaking up with this farm.
