I've had a great experience with Dr. Prewitt and her team. Everyone in the office is genuinely kind and welcoming. I appreciate how thorough the cleanings are. A lot of dental offices only book 30 minutes for a cleaning, but they schedule a full hour here and you can absolutely tell the difference. It never feels rushed, and they do a very detailed, careful job. I always leave with my teeth feeling SO clean! Dr. Prewitt seems very conservative in the best way. I never feel like she's pushing unnecessary work or trying to upsell treatments I don't need. She explains things clearly, makes thoughtful recommendations, and I feel like I can trust her. The front office staff is excellent. Billing and scheduling are handled smoothly. My previous dentist's office constantly messed up billing which was so annoying. I wish we would have found Dr. Prewitt and staff years ago! Her entire staff is amazing and so helpful and kind. Dr. Prewitt is a true artist at her chair and transformed my daughter's smile! She needed to fill a missing tooth (too young for implant) and build up a smaller tooth. Within a short visit, my daughter was able to show off her smile and not spend a day with a missing tooth or have to wear a retainer with a fake tooth. Dr Prewitt is so talented and practical. You won't be disappointed sending your entire family here for dental care. My mother also saw her and was given a practical dental plan when previous dentists had suggested a lot more work. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, I contacted Prewitt Dental Group, Inc. regarding my temporary crown popping off while I was flossing the night before. I informed Marybelle about my efforts to use a temporary repair adhesive to hold the crown left my bite uneven and needed to follow up with the dentist. Marybelle scheduled an appointment immediately with Jasmine, who is a Registered Dental Assistant. Jasmine carefully reviewed my patient records regarding my temporary crown, asked if I was in pain and how I felt. No pain and feeling fine, she then performed a mouth inspection of the oral cavity. Jasmine had previously set up her instruments and as she sat, she professionally explained the procedure and removed the temporary. I felt comfortable and secure with Jasmine's highly skilled, professional knowledge as a Registered Dental Assistant. After carefully sanitizing her hands, Jasmine inspected my oral cavity. She demonstrated the upmost care and sensitivity towards removing the temporary crown with a hand instrument, which popped off without feeling anything. She removed excess adhesive residue from my temporary crown and cementation of the crown perfectly, confirming both the height was comfortable and even. My temporary meticulously placed. She flossed both sides of the temporary while educating me about the importance of pulling through the floss and not flossing up and down, which can cause the temporary to pop off...and that is exactly the opposite of what I did. I learned about Prewitt Family Dentistry from Pre-Mohawk mom's on facebook (via my wife). We've lived in Richardson, TX for about 2.5 years but never landed on a permanent Dentist. Well, after today I'm happy to say I've found one! Dr Prewitt was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire exam. She explained everything she was doing from start to finish and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. Interestingly, she actually performs her own cleanings, every other dentist I've been to has a hygienist do the cleaning. To me this was evidence that she cares about fully understanding her patients dental situation and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty! Another element of the experience that I REALLY appreciated was the fact that I wasn't pushed into any treatment I didn't need. I've encountered other dentists that feel more like salesmen versus doctors. Dr Prewitt simply explained my dental situation and left it at that. I could have easily been pushed into braces or a crown but she was very open and honest about the true need (or lack thereof) for such treatment. Overall it was clear to me that Dr Prewitt really knows her stuff and wasn't looking to make a buck off her patients. After one visit I'm pretty sure I've found a life long dentist! read more

Having moved from out of state, I had been looking for a new dentist. I had been with my former dentist for over 20 years and she was fabulous. I was doubtful I would fine a new dentist who could meet this standard. I did the usual research and finally chose Dr. Prewitt. What a surprise! She and all her team, from receptionist to office manager to hygienist were exceptionally welcoming. The hygienist was very thorough, taking time to get to know a little about me and explaining every step of the process. Dr. Prewitt came in, introduced herself, carefully examined me, looked at the X-rays, and outlined our course of action. I had no reservations during my entire visit. The dental universe must have been aligned when I chose Dr, Prewitt! She is now my new dentist and I highly recommend her. I will definitely be back! Oh! There was a slight snafu about my appointment. After researching, they admitted it was their error, rescheduled me for three hours later, and gave me a Starbucks gift card to go have a cup of coffee on them!
