2026 - I have been going to Pretty Nails every two weeks for about 4.5 months and have been so pleased with my service I decided to write a review. Not familiar with the process, I decided to read past reviews. I was shocked at the negative comments. Holly has been my technician for the entire time. She is excellent and one of the many reasons I keep returning. I always make an appointment so I am expected. I receive a full deluxe gel manicure and pedicure. Holly is so gentle that I almost fall asleep under her care. The salon is clean and many precautions are taken to avoid cross contamination (individual liners for the pedi tub and a new pack of implements for each customer). They have numerous nail colors and procedures to choose from. have never had a bad experience and often recommend Holly and the salon. Holly's English is very limited which makes discussions difficult, but Jenny (supervisor?) will help translate when needed. The costs of services are reduced if you do not use a credit card (but cash). I would have given five stars with easier communication. Note: I am partially handicap and the staff goes out of their way to accomodate my special needs. Always a pleasant experience! read more

came in for a pedicure and the lady cut me twice and then charged me $90 after it continued to burn the next day. I called the nail shop back and they blamed it on my feet being sensitive ( I get pedicures regularly and have never been cut this severely) management did not do anything to fix the situation. he tried to make it seem like I was complaining about the money and it was not about the money. Cut me once, I've learned my lesson! Very disappointed in quality, but most importantly lack of care and concern for customers. During a recent visit for a pedicure, the technician cut my big toe while cutting my nails. He put some "blue stuff" on it to stop the bleeding. I asked him to put alcohol, he said it will hurt you. I told him to proceed with alcohol, please. The next day my toe was not only in pain but looks terrible. I continue to treat it with alcohol but may need an antibiotic. I have attempted to reach out to the owner for days now and have not been successful. I spoke with a Henry who said the owners name is Jenny. I called back again as instructed by Henry and spoke with a woman that said the owner is not there and would not confirm if Jenny was the owner. After long pauses of me asking if it was her, she said no. Her name is Tran. How unfortunate that a business owner will not step up and address their paying customers concerns. I for one will not patronize this establishment again, for many reasons as I have mentioned. I just wanted to share my story and experience of this business. I am all for supporting small business, but not at the expense of my own health. The complete disregard and dismissive treatment I have received has sealed the deal. price is outrageous! every little thing they ask you for adds up so quickly and it's very hard to even know what all you've " agreed" to do at this point . 3 pedicures with 2 of them having gel polish -$170!!! having gel polish removed 15$ having gel polish applied 10$ . the place has never been cheap but in the past few years and significantly increased their prices , whoa ! read more

I told myself I was not going back to Pretty Nails after I got my black gel manicure. The female owner is the one that did it. She was doing my nails and the persons beside me at the same time. She did not let my nails stay under the light long enough to cure, before putting the next layer on. Not even 3 hours later my nails started to peel. The layer underneath the top was STILL WET. Well I made the mistake of going back thinking maybe it would be better... nope. I got the same women again. This time she was still in a hurry and my gel polish is uneven and has bubbles. I believe her name is Jenny??? I mean come on woman, you are one of the owners. You should be the BEST one in there. I am beyond disappointed and will NEVER go back. read more

I just left Pretty Nails &Spa and am completely satisfied! Rosie was my nail technician. She was very friendly, very gentle and professional! She did both my Tropical pedicure and gel manicure. She did an excellent job on both! It was very relaxing! She didn't try to make a lot of uncomfortable small talk but just pampered me! She was very meticulous with my nails, even removed and redid a nail due to a small hair/fuzz that was barely noticeable! Definitely will return!! Again very satisfied! read more

When I went to pay for my nails the man seemed sketchy when placing my card in the chip reader. It took him over 10 minutes to run my card and stared at two different receipts deciding which one to give me for about a whole minute. I didn't think anything of it until I got home and realized that my card has been charged twice. Once I noticed I called the salon to try to get them to fix the problem but they refused to do anything although I was just there 30 minutes prior to calling and they remembered who I was. Not only that the employees were rude and very unwelcoming. I am now out way more money than I intended spending, will not be going back here. These people steal do not go to this salon. read more

Went with my sister for her upcoming wedding this weekend and I have never been to a nail salon that was as gross as this one. You could tell nail stations haven't been cleaned in quite some time. I had plans to get my eyebrows waxed and canceled it after I saw how dirty it was. And for the price you are better off to go somewhere else. Clemson or Easley or even Greenville has way better salons and employees taking care of their customers. read more

Truly, I don't think I've had a bad experience at Pretty Nails. This is the go-to place for my friends and myself in Anderson. Tina does my nails, and she is personable and sweet. When I initially went to get an acrylic fill in, I had some nails peeling up, so she suggested doing dip instead and I've never regretted it. They do a great job here, always very thorough and accommodating even if it's busy. As with any place of business, they sometimes have hiccups or miscommunications, but they are always very nice. I've never had a problem with my nails chipping or peeling any earlier than they should - most recently, I got dip and it lasted an entire month beautifully. On Tuesday 4/16/2019 I went with my daughter (she's 7). Everything with pedicure was fine. I told them to do kids $20 pedi and $12 mani and add design to her big toes for $5. We did the spa part together then split us up for mani even tho I requested them not to do that. My daughter gets done before me and comes up to me she has little white dots on all her toes and flowers on her thumbs never ask for that. They may have asked her but she is 7 YEARS OLD hello!!! Awful Vietnamese technician! Awful! They charge too much for nothing and the service on a fill in was the worst fill in I ever had. One can see the remnants of the last nail job because she did not file it properly. She was rude and could not answer questions regarding her mail process. Never go to this place! Awful! I really did like the place. Very nice. Elegant. Clean, for the most part. They were accomodating, but seemed more concerned about clients coming in than about the client in their chair. I had valid questions and i felt like my questions were ignored and when finally answered, not much consideration. It's been a little over four hours since I got gel done and paid $43 for French tip... they are already chipping. Kind of pissed considering how much i paid. I am staying with family over 30 minutes away and leave in the morning for a five hour drive. Not thrilled with the quality. I plan to give it another chance, but I will definitely step through those doors with another approach. read more

DO NOT GO TO PRETTY NAILS AND SPA!!! The employees do not care about their customers. Me and a few of my friends went to go get manicures and pedicures. We had to wait an hour while they let other people that came in later go before us. My friend had told the employee multiple times that she just wanted gel polish on her nails. NO ACRYLICS! The man that was doing her nails was being very rough and was rushing during the manicure. He ended up cutting her cuticles with the drill piece. He also put acrylics on and kept telling her that her finger nails were "too short", and that she bites her finger nails "thats the reason they bleed." She also got a pedicure done (not a very good one). They soaked her feet in water and put lotion on her legs and finished with the gel polish. They did not ask her what pedicure she would like and did not give her their classic pedicure. The man that was doing her pedicure was rushing again to get it finished In the end her fingers were still bleeding and she didnt get what she asked for. This all cost $100!!! She tried to get some of her money back but Henry (manager) just told her it was expensive because of the gel polish. Henry (manager) ignored that her cuticles were bleeding. Saturday her mom called and they wanted to fix it and "do better for her". Henry said that she didnt want to pay because my friend is a kid and doesnt wanna pay for expensive manis and pedis. That was not the problem! So Monday my friend went up to the store and Henry accused her of lying and she did not get any of her money back. read more

I am so tired of paying $100 for dip and gel polish to have my nails painted and have TERRIBLE service. If I bring both my daughters we spend 200+ to be treated like cattle! No one speaks to you when you walk in or says hello. It feels like you are a burden when you sit there and wait! Today the manicure table was filthy. I will go to a traditional manicure/spa the next time that focuses on relaxation, excellent and clean service and I will be happy to pay to have people say hello and act friendly. My 15-year-old had a 50.00 visa card someone gave her. She went to pay and it was supposed to be 45.00 for the service. The man told her that there was only 40.00 on the card and she would still need to pay 5.00. She questioned him, but he was insistent. She pulled out her debit card and paid the extra 5.00 and gave a 5.00 tip. When she arrived home, I called the number on the back of the card. The worker charged 48.00 on the visa card and also took 10.00 out of her bank account. When I called Pretty Nails, the person answering acted like he could not understand me and hung up on me. Shame on this place for taking a young girl's money and lying. I know it's not much money that was "stolen" from my daughter, but I can't stand people who take advantage of others. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have all the paperwork to prove that she was overcharged. read more

I was just here for one day and needed a manicure. They did my gel mani, no soak off needed, in 30 minutes. That was amazing.

So... first time here. I made an appointment and was greeted at the door. Everyone was nice. I asked for extra massage, since I'm 9.5 mos pregnant. Was $15 extra for an extra 10 min. Totally cool. Well, the massage was a little painful since the girl was using her nails and was only 11 mins total. They charged me $60. Yes, $60!!!! I could have been a lifelong customer. Love how they really take their time, BUT when you book an appointment for two or come in with someone and let them know you are together, one is almost done before the other even gets started. Most of the time my dip last 3 weeks or until it's just grown out but this was definitely a waste of money. I'm giving one star because I can't rate any lower. I have been getting dip powder for a few years now, went to this salon because my usual place was closed & I needed them done for a wedding. I got them done on Friday, it's Thursday & none of the top coat is left. It's cracked & looks horrible. Not to mention I picked out NAVY nails when she brought the powder it was PURPLE & I said no do not use that I need navy, can I please pick again? She refused and kept saying over & over that it would turn blue... so when I made her take it off & start over she wanted to charge me another $40. NO MA'AM. When speaking to the owner with it, she did not care & the nail tech was coming across the counter at me saying I was wrong and did not say to please not use that color. The worst experience at a nail salon I have ever had. I only got a polish on my toes and not a full pedicure. When I was sat in the chair the lady painting my toes called my feet ugly and continued sass me and talk about me to her coworkers as I watched. My friend was getting a manicure with SNS black tips and the lady doing her nails burned her, got the SNS powder all over my friends hands, and ended up having to redo it four times but by the end it still wasn't right. I called ahead to see if I could come in to get a fill in and they asked me to come in at 3 so I did. I waited until 4 to even get a chair. And then I waited 15 more minutes until they started my nails. Then she proceeded to rush through and push my hands around. I understand that they were busy but considering that I even called ahead I would think that I wouldn't have to wait an hour and a half to be helped by a rude worker who did a less-than good job. I went in to get my nails done (gel) not even two weeks ago & my polish is chipping & two nails have already popped off! I'm a stay at home mom so I'm not rough on my hands at all. I went there to get my nails fixed, I wrote my name down, sat down & no one even acknowledged that I was there. I sat there for 5 minutes no one still acknowledged me. They weren't even that busy. Had maybe one person waiting. The owner, he sits right at the front chair so he sees when someone walks in. The least he can do is greet. I spend too much money there to not get the best service. this was the worst job i've ever seen done. i showed the person a picture of how long i wanted them which was a little long but not too long, but now my nails are way shorter than i had asked for them. then the man cut up underneath my nail and it started to bleed but he kept proceeding to cut deeper. my nails look like they are grown out after just getting them done and they aren't even a square. very unhappy. read more
