They offered beer and wine for alcoholic beverages at the bar. The ambiance was intimate and the decor was perfect. We listened to tunes by D'Angelo and Jill Scott. The duo singing both had amazing voices and put their own spin on each song. I've been to several Candlelight events but the one here a La Maison Rouge was my favorite. We had Audrey as our entertainer, and she was a true professional from beginning to end, texting clear details of her upcoming booking with us, showed up on time the day of, and she had such a sweet and friendly demeanor. She came dressed to do face painting, (a true artist! Some images were painted on kids arms), shared magic tricks, then made balloon animals. She then changed for photo ops in the famed costume and our kid guests just had such a blast with her! I work for a very conservative investment firm in their events department. After relaying the message, Leia from Just Play, adjusted the games and promised to engage the crowd. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!…read more The only artist here is a con artist! The owner Alex Armstrong is dishonest. I booked my 30th birthday party for April 27th 7:00 PM-11:00 PM at the Blu Bisque in January. In March, I met with Alex to do a walk through of the space and thought that everything was settled. The day of my event three hours before the start time, I texted her to inquire if I could load in thirty minutes earlier and she told me that my event was canceled. She made up a story about there being another Gia that canceled her event that she accidentally confused with me so therefore she allowed a brunch party that was currently in the building to extend their rental of the space. I drove up to the venue and saw that there was absolutely no one in the space and that she was lying. I texted her what I saw and to please not do this to me and she only continued to lie saying that the brunch party went on an excursion and would be back. With such short notice, I was not able to find another venue for my 50+ guests. Some of my guests even traveled from out of town to come to my party. Once again, DO NOT BOOK HERE! DISHONEST OWNER!!!
